Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1461: Waiting for my good news

Alfredo pushed open the door to the president's office and walked in, just as he was about to speak, he saw Marcos gesture for him to be quiet. He closed his mouth and followed Marcos' line of sight, only to replace someone asleep on the couch.

He didn't have to think about it, but he knew it was Paulina.

She approached Marcos with lighter steps and asked in a whisper, "What do you want for breakfast, Prince? I'll go get it for you."

"Porridge."

"And Paulina?"

"The same."

Marcos was too shy to say more, mostly because he was afraid of waking Paulina.

"Okay, I know."

Alfredo turned and walked out, closing the door softly behind him.

Paulina was awakened by the ringing of a cell phone. She sat up, reached up to rub her sleepy eyes and her gaze fell on Marcos, who was not far away.

He was talking on the phone and, although she could only see one side of his face, she could guess that he was looking very serious at the moment. Paulina puts her feet on the floor, stands up and approaches him.

Marcos hears a movement, turns his head, sees that she is awake, speaks briefly to the other party and hangs up the phone.

He takes a step closer and softens his expression, "I'm sorry I woke you."

She had worked late with him last night and he wanted to let her sleep a little longer.

Paulina shook her head, "Never mind, I've had enough sleep."

She stretched and turned her head to look out the floor-to-ceiling window.

Outside, the sky was clear and the sun was shining.

A bright smile bloomed on her small, clear face as she took a deep breath and sighed, "It's a beautiful day."

She then turned her head to look at Marcos, her smile intact, "Since it's such a beautiful day, I'll continue to help you sort through the information." Marcos' good-looking sword eyebrows furrowed at this, "You're not going home?"

"It's boring going home, so I might as well stay here with you. Besides, you promised to let me go back to work yesterday."

Above all, she had to keep an eye on him so that she could make all three meals of the day on time.

Marcos coaxed her affectionately, "Paulina, you must be tired from staying with me so late last night, go back and rest up first for the day, okay?"

"I don't want to, I want to stay here with you." Paulina was very insistent, "If you have to let me go home, then I will get angry."

She threatened him.

Mark laughed, he had always coddled her, he could do whatever he wanted, but it seemed that this time he had to give in.

"Ok then, if you're tired, lie down in the living room, ok?". instructed Marcos.

Paulina obediently agreed, "I know."

Alfredo came back from buying breakfast and saw that Paulina was already up, lifting the box in his hand, he said, "Paulina, breakfast is ready". Paulina smiles, "Thank you."

Alfredo puts the box on the table, "Paulina, you don't have to be so polite."

He then unzips the bag, takes out the boxes one by one, places them on the table and opens them.

Instantly, an aroma of food wafts through the air.

"Grrr..."

Paulina's stomach growls and she reaches out to cover it, embarrassed, "I'm hungry."

"Then go eat."

Marcos' heart softened as he watched her act like a little girl.

Paulina, seeing that he had no intention of eating breakfast, reached over and grabbed his arm, "You eat too, you'll be able to work better when you're full." At this, Marcos had no choice but to sit with her on the sofa.

Alfredo said, "Paulina, you're the only one the prince listens to. If you hadn't come, I'm afraid the prince wouldn't have come back for breakfast." "Alfredo."

Marcos' stern gaze shifted to him.

Alfredo rubbed his nose sarcastically and muttered under his breath, "I'm not wrong."

"Alfredo, you go to breakfast too." Paulina said.

"Okay."

Alfredo picked up his own breakfast and hurried out.

When the door closed, Paulina sighed softly and said, "Marcos, I hope that from now on, even if I'm not around, you'll eat on time so you'll be fine." "Don't listen to Alfredo and Alvaro, really as usual."

Paulina didn't believe him, "Nobody knows you better than me, when you're busy you don't mind eating."

"Well, enough of that, let's have breakfast first." Paulina put the spoon in his hand.

The two finished breakfast and went back to work.

...

After what happened with the Leoz Group, Rawlins and Chris did nothing but gloat and, above all, steal the Leoz Group's clients in various ways.

They knew very well that this was the best time to hit Grupo Leoz and that if they lost it, they didn't know when the next time would be.

"This time we got our hands on some Grupo Leoz clients, but it wasn't enough." Rawlins got his hands on a list of everyone Grupo Leoz was currently working with.

Some of those marked on it were the clients they had already snatched up.

They had taken a lot of clients, but they were small ones that probably didn't make a big difference to the Leoz Group.

Chris reflected for a moment before speaking, "Some of our clients have been with the Leoz Group for a long time, and even after all the problems they've had with the Leoz Group, they've decided to trust Mark, and that's a trust that's hard to break."

Rawlins frowned, "If that's the case, the Leoz Group won't be back in business any time soon, and everything we've done will be for nothing."

He was desperate to see the Leoz Group fall, and even more desperate to see Marcos lose his head.

He really couldn't wait.

Every night he woke up with dreams of Earlene crying over and over again, accusing him of why he hadn't avenged her.

Rawlins reached up and rubbed his forehead, suppressing his irritation, and said in a gravelly voice, "We must think of other ways to put the Leoz Group in a more difficult situation."

"I know you're anxious, but haste does not make the heart grow fonder." Chris had just finished speaking when a thought suddenly flashed through his mind and a grim smile tugged at his lips, "Rawlins, I have an idea."

Rawlins looked up and met his imperious eyes with a frown, "What idea?"

Chris didn't specify, but smirked, "You'll have to wait for my good news."

...

The Leoz Group had invested a lot of money to do the AI project in the first place, and now that the secrets had been leaked, that money spent had gone down the drain.

Now the project was restarting and funds were needed.

Marcos had Alfredo apply for a loan from the bank, but strangely the loan never came.

"Prince, I contacted Mr. Rodas a few times and he was ambiguous, not saying he was committed to getting the loan approved or not."

Alfredo remembered Mr. Rodas' attitude and always felt something was wrong.

Paulina looked at Marcos and saw that his handsome face was unperturbed, his eyes were deep as ink and he could not say what was on his mind at that moment.

He frowned, "With the strength of the Leoz Group, it should be easy to get a loan from the bank. Has anything gone wrong at some point?".
