Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1501: You'll Definitely Be Ruined

Mark hurried to the police station and caught a glimpse of the slender figure sitting in a corner. "Paulina."

The familiar voice rang in her ears and Paulina slowly raised her head to meet Marcos' eyes full of concern, her nose clicked and she couldn't help the redness in her eyes. "Marcos."

The choked voice fell on her ears and Marcos' heart ached.

Paulina stood up and jumped into his arms, wrapping her arms around his waist tightly.

His cool breath instantly enveloped her and her restless heart slowly calmed.

"Sorry I'm late."

Mark wrapped his arms around her and whispered in her ear.

Paulina shook her head in his arms, "Don't say you're sorry, this has nothing to do with you."

They hugged in silence for a while before Paulina released him, pulled away from his embrace, looked at him and said, "That car kept following me, I couldn't shake it off. I had no choice but to run to the police station."

As he entered the police station, he saw the car stop just inside the front door and wondered if it would still be there at that point.

"Very clever." Marcos tied back the strands of hair that fell to her cheeks behind her ears, his voice soft. "I'll tell Alfredo to replace out who the other man is."

Paulina sighed, "It can't be helped if you're not smart."

Since she had already been followed several times, she had long since raised her guard, and that was why today she was able to spot someone who was following her so quickly. Hearing her words, Mark's heart broke and he took her in his arms again.

"It was me who didn't protect you."

Paulina slowly clasped her hands together in front of her chest, her eyes slowly closed and she said softly, "Marcos, it has nothing to do with you, don't blame yourself."

Her greatest fear was that he would blame himself, that he would blame himself for everything.

After all, with all the precautions, there was always room for error.

Mark looked down, kissed her hair and said softly, "Let's go home."

"Mmm."

The two walked out together, and Paulina's eyes couldn't help but glance toward the front door. The car was no longer there.

She was instantly relieved.

Marcos turned his head to look at her, "It's not there?"

Paulina looked at him and nodded, "Well, it's not there anymore. I should have seen you coming."

Marcos looked toward the front door, his eyes narrowed slightly, revealing a hard, cold stare.

First the virus in his body was showing signs of attack, and now he was being followed, who was trying to betray Paulina?

He would definitely replace out.

Once she replaces out who it is, she won't let him get away!

...

Bergerian had just arrived in J-town and was on his way to the hotel where Lisa was staying.

The car stopped in front of the hotel and as soon as he got out, he saw Lisa getting out of another car.

He frowned slowly, had she already gone to see Paulina?

The more he thought about it, the more likely it was.

He hurried over and grabbed Lisa by the wrist, asking in a stern voice, "What the hell are you doing here in J-Town?"

Lisa was taken aback by him and glared at him, "How did you get here ...?"

Bergerian ignored him and repeated the question, "What exactly is the purpose of your visit to J-City?"

His tone grew colder, like frost in the dead of winter.

Lisa stepped back, brushed his hand off her and said coldly, "I'm here on a trip. But what is Sister Bergerian doing here?"

A trip?

Was she taking him for a fool? Would he believe an excuse as lame as hers?

However, he did not press the subject.

He knew her personality well enough that if he kept asking questions, he would inevitably make her rebel, and then Pauline would be in even more danger. "I'm here on a trip, too." said Bergerian.

Lisa snorted coldly, "Bergerian, do you expect me to believe that?".

"Are you the only one who can come to J-Town?" asked Bergerian instead of answering.

Lisa was speechless.

It was obvious that she didn't believe his reasoning at all.

"Lisa, if you come back to the country with me now, I can pretend nothing happened." Bergerian didn't make his words clear, but he did make his meaning clear. "Did I do something?" Lisa sketched a sarcastic smile, "I'm just here for the tour, what the hell are you afraid of?"

Bergerian said nothing to make noise.

Lisa gritted her teeth with hatred, "I'll vouch for you. You're afraid I'll turn on Paulina and that's why you came to J-Town specifically to meet me, isn't it?"

The sarcasm on his lips intensified as he said this, "It's the first time in all these years you've been so 'worried' about me. Oh no, so 'worried' about me for another woman." "I really don't know whether to be glad or angry."

She lifted her face with a look of cold sarcasm, but her heart was full of bitterness.

After all these years, how he had cared for himself a little.

Yet today he had flown all the way from J-town on purpose because he was worried about another woman.

From the tiredness in his eyes, I could tell he had run to her side as soon as he got off the plane.

He is very attached to that woman.

Thinking about this, Lisa took a deep breath and said, "If you have nothing else, I'll go upstairs."

After saying that, she turned around and walked toward the hotel.

As soon as he turned around, his countenance immediately sank and his eyes turned sinister, since he cared so much about that bitch, he would definitely destroy her.

If he had wronged her first, he wouldn't blame her for it!

As he watched Lisa enter the hotel, Carl, his assistant, approached Bergerian and asked in a whisper, "Sir, do you want me to force Lisa back into the country?"

Bergerian sulked and thought for a moment before speaking, "No. Just send someone to keep an eye on her. Just send someone to keep an eye on her." Carl nodded, "Yes.

If we kidnapped her now, we would only get Lisa angrier, so it would be better to keep her in J-town and keep an eye on her.

If she tried to hurt Paulina, he would stop her immediately.

Bergerian then stayed at the same hotel.

When Lisa found out, she laughed coldly, "Are you trying to spy on me? I'd like to see if you can protect that bitch."

Then she looked at the men she had brought to City J. Her eyes narrowed, "She was smart enough to figure out we were following her so fast today, Paulina."

His voice sank, "However, I expect you to do it discreetly next time and be sure to kill the person, understood?"

The men bowed their heads respectfully and replied in unison, "Yes."

Lisa hooked her lips into a cold smile, Paulina ah Paulina, wait, I will destroy you!

"Ah-choo..."

Paulina sneezed violently as she reached home.

She sniffled and frowned, "I won't be catching another cold, will I?".

Mrs. Gloria, who had just arrived, heard her and quickly said, "Don't catch another cold. I'm going to make you some ginger coffee and you're going to drink it right away." And without waiting for Paulina and Marcos to say anything, she turned and headed for the kitchen.

Paulina and Marcos looked at each other with a smirk on their faces, "Mom is so good to me." Treating her like she was her own daughter.
