Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1503: A Woman's Intuition
Chris returned home and discussed his plans with Linda.
"This time we're going after Paulina." Chris said.
Linda laughed at this, "She's long overdue." In Mark's mind, Paulina is the most important."
Hearing this, he curbed his smile and gritted his teeth in hatred, "Or he wouldn't have failed me in the first place!".
Seeing how easily Marcos could still affect her emotions, Chris frowned and walked over to her to pull her into his arms, "I know better than anyone how good you are." Linda smiled again at this and snuggled into his arms, "Ming, you're so good to me."
"You're my favorite person, of course I'm going to be good to you."
Chris kissed her softly and continued, "Don't worry, I'll pay Paulina back double for all the pain Marcos caused you!" "Mmm." The corners of Linda's mouth curled up in triumph.
Paulina, your good days are coming to an end!
...
That day, when Paulina got home from work, Sweety came running in, very excited, "Mom, we have a new teacher."
Paulina squatted down and helped her straighten her hair, which was a bit messy, and gave her a look, "Is the new teacher pretty?".
The little girl, a typical little girl with a blank look on her face.
"Pretty." Sweety nodded vigorously, "Almost as pretty as Mommy."
"She's very pretty." Gloria smiled as she walked over to Sra.
Seeing how happy Sweety was, Paulina raised an eyebrow, "Sweety really likes the new teacher?"
"She loves her. The teacher is just as pretty and gentle as Mommy."
Paulina laughed lightly, feigning jealousy, and said, "Does that mean you like her better than Mommy?"
Sweety was a very perceptive child and shook her head like a rattle, "No, Sweety likes Mommy better!".
Paulina burst out laughing, "Mommy is pulling your leg."
"I like Mommy best." Sweety threw herself into her arms.
Paulina gently stroked her head and said, "Mommy knows that, and Mommy loves Sweety the most."
Sweety looked up, "Mommy, can you come and pick me up from daycare tomorrow?"
"Why all of a sudden do you want Mommy to pick you up?". Paulina raised her eyebrows and guessed, "It's not because you want Mommy to meet your new teacher, is it?". Kids are really good at guessing, you can see it in their faces.
"Uh-huh." Sweety nodded, "Mom will like it too when she sees her new teacher."
Paulina smiled and patted his head, "Okay, Mom will pick you up."
It was time for her to meet the new teacher, then it would be easier for her to do anything.
At night, before going to bed, Paulina mentioned it.
Marcos frowned, "Why is there a new teacher all of a sudden?".
"I heard from Sweety that the previous teacher had family problems and quit." Speaking of the previous teacher, Paulina sighed, "Actually, the original teacher wasn't bad and was very kind and caring to Sweety."
She turned her head to look at Marcos, the corners of her mouth curved helplessly, "It's just that your daughter doesn't seem sad at all, but happy. She seems to really like the new teacher and has asked me to pick her up tomorrow." "I'll go with you." said Marcos.
Paulina knew what was bothering him and smiled and nodded, "Good."
"Go to bed soon, you have to work tomorrow." Marcos helped her put the sheets back on.
"Mmm."
Paulina leaned close to him, closed her eyes and was asleep in no time.
...
The next afternoon, Marcos and Paulina left work early and headed to the kindergarten.
As soon as they got out of the car, they saw Sweety in front of the school hugged by the teacher. "Daddy, Mommy!" Sweety saw them and immediately broke the teacher's grip and ran to them. Marcos bent down and picked her up.
"Hi Sweety mom and dad, I'm Juanetta Colmenero, Sweety's new class teacher," the teacher said as she walked over and looked at them with a Dulce smile. "Hi."
Paulina smiled back, "You'll have to watch out for us Sweety, from now on."
As Sweety had said, Juanetta was really pretty and seemed gentle and kind, even her smile was so loving that one couldn't help but feel good about her.
"That's what I should do." Juanetta looked at Sweety, a quick flash of emotion that one couldn't quite catch passed under her eyes as her gaze swept over Mark's face. She reached out and stroked Sweety's head, "I really like Sweety."
A big smile broke out on Sweety's face and he said, "I like my teacher too!".
The smile on Juanetta's face grew even bigger, "Thank you Sweety."
Mark was holding Sweety and Juanetta was standing in front of him, looking inexplicably like a family of three.
A strange excitement arose in Paulina and she subconsciously reached over to Marcos and grabbed his arm.
"Sweety, we're going home. Say goodbye to the teacher."
Sweety waved to Juanetta, "Goodbye, teacher."
"Bye."
"Teacher Juanetta, good job, bye." Paulina nodded to Juanetta and turned to walk with Marcos to the car parked on the side of the road.
Once in the car, through the window, Paulina saw that Juanetta was still standing in the same spot.
She was too far away to see his face.
For some reason, the good feeling she had towards Juanetta had surprisingly vanished.
"Marcos, do you feel strange?" Paulina turned her head to look at Marcos.
Marcos smiled faintly, "Since when did surveillance get so high?"
Paulina raised an eyebrow, "It's a woman's intuition."
"Don't get in over your head. She's Sweety's teacher and a daycare employee, you wouldn't dare mess with her."
Paulina sighed, "I just hope she really likes Sweety and not Sweety for what she is."
There were a lot of people trying to get on The Leoz Family and her dislike of Juanetta was one of them.
Most of all, she was afraid that Sweety was sad.
After all, it was rare to see Sweety so fond of a teacher.
No, Sweety now said, "Daddy, Mommy, isn't Professor Juanetta very pretty and gentle?"
Paulina turned and smiled softly, "Yes, she is very pretty and gentle."
Sweety raised her chin proudly at the positive response, "She's our teacher."
Paulina laughed, "Yes, I know."
"Mommy, can we invite the teacher to play with us later?" asked Sweety.
At her expectant look, Paulina and Marcos looked at each other before smiling, "Of course."
"Great." Sweety clapped her hands in happiness, "Then, when it's my birthday, I'll ask my teacher to come and play."
