Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1598: Calling out the truth
Hearing Solomon ask this question, Hector raised his eyes to look at him and did not answer.
Solomon's suspicions were not unreasonable.
It wasn't that he didn't think Blythe was suspicious, but having never had any substantial evidence, he had had to keep it to himself.
Earlene's death had been rather strange at first, and although he had found it odd at the time, there was no point in pursuing it when the man was already dead.
Now, with Solomon's replaceings as a basis, and looking back at what had happened then and what was happening now, the answers that had been hazy in Hector's mind were almost ready to emerge. However, he wasn't going to follow his own subjective assumptions too closely, and he couldn't jump to conclusions without the evidence to back them up.
"Daddy? Do I have to keep looking into it?" Solomon was a little less sure when he saw that Hector hadn't answered his question.
It was just that, in the back of his mind, he still felt that this Blythe, was just too suspicious.
Earlene was a bad aunt, so was Blythe, and they were both even close to a man called Winston.
She obviously...
In short, neither Earlene nor Blythe are any good!
Anyone who bullies her mummy and sister will have to pay for it!
"No, this is something that you don't have to worry about anymore."
Hector collected his thoughts and looked faintly at Solomon, "In future, no meddling either."
Solomon looked at Hector with some resignation, these were the things he personally went to ask Z to investigate, it took some effort to go deeper into JR Group to check this. This overbearing daddy, who said he was not allowed to investigate, was too much!
How could Hector not know what his son was thinking, but even if Solomon complained about him now, he would not relent.
The matter itself was dangerous, and Solomon was still in the group.
He knew the reputation of "Z", and no one would believe that such a person could help the boy in this way without having any intentions.
He had no objection to the boy having his own social life, even if it meant hanging out with that dangerous group of people, and he would not interfere too much.
But only if his identity was not revealed, otherwise it would be too dangerous, and sooner or later he would be exposed for who he was by asking for help this once or twice.
Not being able to risk Solomon, Hector found a random reason and explained, "If you don't want your mum to worry, stop this before it's too late, if she replaces out what you're with, you know the consequences." Solomon bristled.
How could he not know the consequences, otherwise he wouldn't have been sneaking around with them.
He was also doing this to try and protect Mummy and his sister from the bad guys hurting them both.
However, when he thought about it, what Daddy said wasn't unreasonable.
Such a big thing, if he continued to investigate, he would definitely be exposed.
So, he couldn't act rashly just yet.
"Okay, I know." Solomon reassured himself mentally and finally nodded to Hector. "Hmm."
With a simple response, Hector stepped out of Solomon's room and went to his study.
Hector took out his phone and dialed Sener's number.
"What can I do for you, young master?" The call was quickly answered and Sener's voice came through with some confusion.
"Sener, is there a drug in this world that can be taken to put a person into a false state of death and camouflage them for up to tens of days."
Hector omitted the pleasantries and spoke directly to ask.
At the words, Sener was startled.
Why did his own young master suddenly ask about this stuff?
He did not dare to ask more questions and quickly replied, "Young master, this kind of medicine exists, but it is forbidden and is definitely not available in China. However, it is very common abroad, especially in some of the more chaotic countries, and it is even in circulation in the market."
After saying this, Sener hesitated for a moment and said with some concern, "Young master, are you asking if this is what has happened? This medicine..."
Hector said coldly, "Do I look like someone who would touch forbidden drugs?"
"?" Sener wanted to ask something more, but the phone already showed that the call had ended.
He had no choice but to put the phone down.
His young master had a point, what kind of a person was he, how could he possibly be involved with such things?
He might just be here to spread knowledge on his side.
The young master had done everything in moderation, he was the one who was over-worried.
Thinking that, Sener didn't dwell on the issue too much, and went back to the experiments he hadn't finished yet.
...
Hector's side hung up the phone with a surprisingly ugly look on his face.
He had made the call to be sure of something.
The reason why Blythe and the Bartram family were getting closer was not only because they were both "enemies", but there was another layer of involvement. With this in mind, all the points of confusion in Hector's mind were cleared up, and he had a clear idea of what was going on.
If Blythe was really Earlene, then she should not be left alone.
This woman would not only have to pay for the stupidity of what she had done now, but she would also have to settle the score before she "died". Then she's really going to be unlucky again!
