Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1781: You might be interested

Eloise didn't feel like she had anything to talk about with Robbie.

"Can't." She refused outright.

Robbie wasn't surprised by this, after all, he was the one who had negatively affected her in the first place, and now they had nothing to do with each other.

She did not want to talk to herself, it is normal.

But there are some things that have been on his mind all these years, and he has always felt bad about it.

So Robbie opened up and said, "There's something you might be interested in."

At that, Eloise wrinkled her eyebrows and smiled coldly: "Robbie, I'm not interested in anything about you."

"It's not about me, it's about Solomon's life." Robbie paused, "You should be interested to know who carried the baby to the Rogers family's doorstep in the first place." Eloise froze.

Robbie was right, she did want to know about it.

It was one of the things she'd always wanted to replace out, but now that Robbie mentioned it, she was in a bit of a trance.

"You know?" She asked.

Robbie nodded and admitted, "I did know."

Eloise's eyes narrowed slightly and she asked again, "Who is it?"

"It was Agnes who carried Solomon after you went into labor that year."

"So it was her."

Eloise squeezed her palm, and then, frowned again, "Then how did she know the baby was Hector's?"

"I'm not sure about that, I didn't know about it until later." Robbie truthfully returned, "Agnes seems to know whose child you are carrying from the beginning, and should have taken a lot of benefits to carry the baby to the Rogers family after you gave birth."

If she hadn't met Robbie today and he had told her about it, Eloise thought she might not have been able to replace out about it for the rest of her life.

Because Agnes didn't say anything until she died.

Eloise was silent for a moment before she asked, "Who did Agnes receive a favor from, the Rogers family?"

"I'm not sure about that." Robbie pulled the corner of his mouth, "Maybe it's really the Rogers family."

He realized something was wrong and added, "I didn't mean to pick on you and Hector."

Hector bought water and walked back, saw his wife talking to a man from afar.

And how did that man... look so familiar?

When he got closer, he realized it was Robbie.

The look changed slightly, he quickened his steps and walked over to pull Eloise behind him, then stared at Robbie with a cold gaze.

Robbie froze when he saw him, and when he saw his gesture of protecting Eloise, he couldn't help but smile, "Mr Hector don't worry, I won't hurt Eloise."

Then, he looked at Eloise and smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry for telling you about this so late."

When he finished, he looked at Hector, nodded, and turned to leave.

Watching his figure disappear into the crowd, Hector only retracted his eyes and turned his head to look at Eloise.

"What did he tell you?"

Faced with Hector's question, Eloise did not hide, "He told me that it was Agnes who sent the child to the Rogers family back then."

Hector was a little surprised, he didn't expect it to be Agnes.

Eloise sighed, "But now I don't know exactly who she was receiving benefits from."

"I will replace out about this matter. But it doesn't matter who it is." Hector took her hand and gazed at her fondly, "I should be grateful to her for sending Solomon to me." "Thank you?" Eloise's fine brows furrowed, not understanding why he said that.

"Yes, if not for that, how would I have met you."

With that, Hector gently kissed the back of her hand.

Eloise shyly snapped, "It's not good to have so many people watching."

Hector took her into his arms, rubbed his palms through her hair, and said softly, "The past is the past, what matters is the present and the future, isn't it?"

Eloise opened her arms around his waist, leaned her head on his shoulder, the corners of her mouth curled up, and let out a soft "mmm".

She felt a little relieved.

He was right, the past is in the past.

The important thing is that the family is happy now.

Solomon came back from the photo shoot and saw mommy and daddy hugging each other, so he quickly grabbed his camera and took a few pictures for them.

This night, the family of three comfortable shopping until almost twelve o'clock before returning to the hotel.

During the next few days of camp, they visited several famous sites in Paris and experienced the romantic atmosphere of the F country.

After the whole activity, Solomon felt that he was the happiest kid in the world with his mom and dad.

So when it was time to go back, he was a little sad to go back because he didn't know how long he would have to wait for the next time to play with his mommy and daddy. Seeing his thoughts, Eloise wrapped her arms around him and said gently, "When your daddy has taken care of everything, we'll take Sweety out to play with him again, okay?" "Really?" Solomon was afraid it was just comforting.

"Of course it's true." Eloise smoothed his hair that was a little messy and smiled, "Mommy never lies to you."

"Mmm." Solomon nodded heavily, a bright smile blossoming on his face.

After returning to the North City, Hector immediately jumped into the intense work, going out these days, the pile of work is a bit too much.

So much so that he worked overtime for a few days in a row, which made Eloise feel bad and had the kitchen make soup.

On this day, Hector came home almost in the early morning.

When he entered, he found that Eloise was still awake and wrinkled his brow, "Why haven't you rested?"

"Waiting for you." Eloise walked up and took the suit jacket from him, hung it up, and said, "There's some soup stew in the kitchen, I'll go get you some."

She turned around and was about to head for the kitchen when suddenly there was a tightness on her wrist, a heavenly spin, and she was wrapped tightly around Hector. "What's wrong?" Eloise asked, puzzled.

"Nothing, I just want to hug you." Hector buried his face in the crook of her neck, smelling the scent of her body lotion, feeling the fatigue of the whole day disappearing at this moment. Eloise leaned quietly in his arms for a while before speaking slowly, "Sweety saw the pictures of our trip to F today and was clamoring to go too."

"When I'm done, we'll go out again as a family."

"Hmm." Eloise pushed him away and said with a smile, "I'll go get you some soup."

Watching her walk toward the kitchen, the corners of Hector's mouth lifted into a smile, and his eyes were so gentle that they looked like they were dripping with water.
