Love Comes To Me
Chapter 217: You're My Mummy

After hanging up the phone, Rupert Rogers looked torn and finally spoke up, "Brother, Layla Davidson said that her sister-in-law has no projects on her hands these days and she is idle every day, so she is obviously lying!" At that, Hector Rogers couldn't help but frown slightly. He was obviously available, but refused on the grounds that he was busy, which was a clear indication that he was avoiding him, and his suspicions were indeed correct. "Brother, should we go and check it out? Sister-in-law is suddenly like this perhaps something has happened?"

"Hmm." Hector Rogers nodded and didn't refuse; if he hadn't checked, Eloise Thompson herself wouldn't have told him why, I'm afraid.

Rupert Rogers received his orders and left the office to quickly send someone to check on Eloise Thompson's whereabouts during this time.

At eleven o'clock, Hector Rogers was still busy, and his whole being couldn't help but be a little annoyed; what was it that had caused Eloise Thompson to turn towards avoiding herself again?

Hector Rogers lit a cigarette and fell into contemplation, but couldn't figure it out.

...

Over here, in the private room of the bar, Reeva Lawson and Felix Crammer were celebrating with their glasses of wine.

"I hear Eloise Thompson has moved out of Hector's house and has been avoiding him for the past few days, our plan is going well, thank you."

The corner of Reeva Lawson's mouth curved slightly, and after a few days of negativity, she couldn't have been in a better mood, especially after learning that Eloise Thompson had moved out of the Hector Rogers home.

She then said that Eloise Thompson couldn't stay with Hector Rogers all the time, and with that thing in place, she had some chance of winning it back herself, sooner or later.

"Reeva, you don't have to be polite with me." Felix Crammer spoke with a smile, his tone sounding gentle.

Having previously learned that Eloise Thompson had given birth to a child, he had someone look into what happened back then and found out that Eloise Thompson had gone to a surrogate for money, and as to who the other party was, Felix Crammer had not found out until now.

When they couldn't replace the boy, they had to replace a fake one to replace him. Things were risky and broken, but everything went smoothly and, as they expected, Eloise Thompson now had no face to face with Hector Rogers.

Looking at Reeva Lawson's face beaming as if she were a princess on high, Felix Crammer smiled along with her.

Even though he can't have her, Felix Crammer doesn't want to see Reeva Lawson sad. He would do anything for her, even see her with another man, no matter what, but everything, if only he could be there for her, if only this woman could be happy.

Whatever it takes, it's worth it.

At this point, Denton Bride walked in.

"Miss Reeva, Mr Felix, I have contacted Miss Eloise and he has agreed to meet tomorrow."

The corners of Reeva Lawson's mouth curled slightly as she spoke up and admonished, "You take that child to her, remember to be careful and don't let anything go wrong."

"I got it, Miss Reeva," Denton Bride spoke in response.

Reeva Lawson and Felix Crammer once again raised their glasses in celebration.

...

The following day, Eloise Thompson arrived at the restaurant and waited for a long time before Denton Bride came in with a young boy of about five years old.

At the sight of Eloise Thompson, the boy leapt into her arms, his baby voice opening with a hint of excitement as he called out, "Mummy!"

Eloise Thompson didn't know why she wasn't as surprised as she thought she would be when she heard the sound of her mummy, but on the contrary, she was at peace with the fact that this was the child she had wanted for years! She surveyed the little boy in front of her, a cute looking boy with happiness and excitement written all over his face at the moment, who was staring at Eloise Thompson at the moment.

"Is it true that Daddy says you're my real mummy?"

Eloise Thompson gave a slight pause, then nodded.

"Really? Ahhhhh! Great, Cerdic finally has a mummy, and my mummy is so beautiful, mummy, do you know that Cerdic has been waiting for you to appear! I have so many things I want to say to you." Looking at Cerdic Bride's excited expression, Eloise Thompson was at a loss for words, and could only respond with a faint smile.

Then the waiter came over and several people ordered their food.

During the meal, Cerdic Bride was particularly fond of Eloise Thompson, shouting "Mummy" and giving Eloise Thompson food, so it was clear that the little one was really happy and liked Eloise Thompson. "It's been a long time since I've seen Cerdic so happy, Miss Eloise, I really implore you, come back to the Bride family! We'll give Cerdic a full home." Denton Bride spoke at length.

He couldn't help but glance at Cerdic Bride with a soft gaze, looking really like a loving father.

At that, Eloise Thompson's hand with her chopsticks gave a slight pause.

"I'm sorry, Mr Denton, this is something I'll have to think about."

Eloise Thompson doesn't know exactly why, even though Cerdic Bride is so nice and sweet, she is genuinely disgusted with the boy, thinking that she would be happy if Solomon did that to her, but Cerdic Bride is her own son! Denton Bride didn't force Eloise Thompson, he just spoke up and continued: "Miss Eloise, Cerdic really likes you, he's been without his mother for five years now, I don't want his childhood to go on like this, by the time he's old enough to understand, he'll know you're with her but not home. What will Cerdic think when he's old enough to know that you're with her but not home? By then it will be too late to make up for it."

Denton Bride was not forcing Eloise Thompson, but word for word he was dampening Eloise Thompson's psyche, and looking at the smile spreading across Cerdic Bride's face, Eloise Thompson felt guilty for a moment.

As he left the restaurant, Cerdic Bride fondly said goodbye to Eloise Thompson.

"Mummy, can't you just have a good time with me again? Cerdic has had a hard time seeing you ..." said Cerdic Bride, her face flashing with a touch of loss.

"Sorry Cerdic, I have to work, can I play with you some other time?" Eloise Thompson spoke up somewhat reluctantly.

"Okay Mummy, then you must come to Cerdic soon oh, Cerdic will be good and wait for you at home."

Eloise Thompson nodded and a few people parted ways for the ride home.

After all these years of anticipation, she had never really seen the day when that child would appear in front of her, but at the moment Eloise Thompson was not happy at all, on the contrary, her heart was heavy. Eloise Thompson doesn't want to go back to the Bride family, but feels sorry for the boy and is in a deep dilemma...

...

On this side, Rupert Rogers soon found out the whereabouts of Eloise Thompson during this time and he immediately reported it to Hector Rogers.

"Brother, I found out that my sister-in-law has been getting close to a man named Denton Bride during this time."

At that, Hector Rogers frowned slightly.
