Reeva Lawson looked at the cold back of Hector Rogers and a hard look rose in her eyes.

It is clear that Eloise Thompson is involved, and she will not let this woman off the hook easily. Since Hector Rogers was going to get rid of her, she wasn't going to beg for her life to stay on. She couldn't even stay for a moment.

Reeva Lawson, her face full of gloom, pulled the door open indignantly and went out.

She packed up her things as quickly as she could and left without even a greeting.

When she returned, she locked herself in her room and refused to open the door no matter who knocked.

Reeva's mother was worried about what would happen if Reeva Lawson didn't eat or drink and starved herself.

Reeva's father had a vague suspicion that she and Hector Rogers had had a falling out and left with a sigh of hatred and anger.

Early the following morning.

Reeva Lawson pretended as if nothing had happened and arrived in the hall, where Reeva's father Reeva's mother had already been double seated.

Reeva's father was heartbroken to see her haggard face, even with her delicate make-up.

"What is happening?" Reeva's father asked in serious enquiry.

After one night, Reeva Lawson has figured out that since Hector Rogers doesn't love her, she can't have him. It was time to put an end to this bitter unrequited love.

The corners of her mouth curled upwards wickedly as she said, with a single word at Reeva's father, "I'm going back to the office to help."

Reeva's father was surprised that she had been kicked out of the Rogers Group by Hector Rogers.

When Reeva Lawson saw Reeva's father's face, she was a little sad that she had only "fallen out of love".

Reeva's father sort of figured out that Reeva Lawson was afraid that she wouldn't be able to take Hector Rogers.

He couldn't help but give her a few words of relief, "You don't have to rush back to the office either, ask some of your uncles' girls to go out for a break."

Reeva Lawson shook her head, she had made up her mind that she was going to the office today.

Reeva's father took her to the Lawson Group and was careful to explain that she should get acquainted with the business first, and that she would wait for some time to recover.

Who would have thought that Reeva Lawson was also a take-it-or-leave-it person, not at all like a sad person, and put in a full state of work at the first opportunity.

She is even more calm and collected, and even thinks things through.

Reeva Lawson has been working all morning and is not 100% familiar with the Lawson Group business, but is 90% sure of it.

She called her assistant and ordered, "I'll give you an hour to get up to speed on the latest developments at JS Group Planning."

The assistant was about to go and gather information when she stopped her again, "Especially one Eloise Thompson, make sure you ask around about the projects she is currently working on." Reeva Lawson watched the assistant leave, which gave her time to rest for a moment.

Over the years, Lawson Group and Rogers Group have befriended each other and the two businesses have gone from strength to strength, covering a wide range of industries in just two years. She also has a planning company, if she is not mistaken, under the Lawson Group.

Owen Planners.

This is the number two company in the industry and is no match for JS Group Planning, a small, recently formed company.

Eloise Thompson, wait for it.

She is going to cut off all the projects planned by JS Group, and the projects that Eloise Thompson is working on are, naturally, the first to go. Reeva Lawson was thinking about how she was going to deal with Eloise Thompson when her assistant knocked on the door and came in. True to form, she handpicked the people who could be efficient.

The assistant found out that Eloise Thompson is currently approaching a foreign cosmetics company, Exley Corporation.

This is a big company that is quite famous abroad, and it is rumoured that Exley Corporation has spared a huge amount of money as promotion costs in order to open up the Chinese market this time. She thought that Eloise Thompson must have taken the project very seriously.

Reeva Lawson practically gritted her teeth and tore up a scrap of paperwork in front of her; she was desperate for this project.

She could almost envisage Eloise Thompson's frustration at being robbed of her project, and Reeva Lawson couldn't help but curl her lips into a smile.

She clenched her fists, her eyes full of hate, and one day, she would show Hector Rogers that she was the one woman who could truly deserve him. JUS Group Planning.

Eloise Thompson sneezed several times in a row as she buried her head in the plot before her.

Even though, she had already dealt with Exley Corporation earlier, they were satisfied with her initial ideas.

But she has always been very demanding, and when she looked at the plan in front of her, she frowned deeply, always feeling that there was something missing.

She concentrated on her thoughts, and even more so, she reviewed every aspect of what was mentioned at today's morning meeting.

"Eloise, it's past lunchtime, you didn't forget to eat again, did you?" Linn Dail had told her to settle her dinner before she ate, but when she came back, she was still in a rut.

Eloise Thompson barely managed to get a little distraction from the planning, "I'll go to dinner when I figure out what the problem is."

Linn Dail naturally didn't believe her and tried to pull her out and force her to eat.

Layla Davidson happened to be coming out and saw the two of them tugging and laughed bitterly.

If the big boss knew that his woman had forgotten to work again, I'm afraid he would be heartbroken.

Layla Davidson simply helped Linn Dail along, racking Eloise Thompson out.

Over dinner, Eloise Thompson would suddenly mention, "This cosmetic brand by Exley is actually very popular in H. It's very popular with popular actresses."

She seemed to have thought of something, "Why didn't I think of that before? We could invite the most popular actress of the moment to join the event." "No, Eloise, these our competitors, surely they can think of them too." Linn Dail frowned and spoke up.

Eloise Thompson pulled out her phone and re-flipped through these Exley product literature and couldn't help but be lost in thought once again.

When Layla Davidson saw that she couldn't even eat properly, she had no choice but to say, "The most important thing right now is that you eat properly." Eloise Thompson smiled and put her work aside for the moment.

After the meal, she joined them back at the office and Linn Dail exclaimed, "Oh my God, Eloise, we have another arch rival."

Eloise Thompson has heard from Linn Dail that Owen Planners also seems to be in the running for the project.

Owen Planners, the name is out there.

Her brow furrowed in worry, it was a little difficult for the number two company in the industry to compete with them together. Her mind was full of ideas for a response.

Time always flies when you are busy, and after closing time, Egbert Chumley's call came in.

"What a coincidence, Eloise, our company is also competing for the Exley project, I wouldn't put it past you!" Egbert Chumley joked.

Eloise Thompson also joked back, "Egbert, it's not certain who the deer will be."

Egbert Chumley did smile, and she seemed to be in a good mood.

"Been away on business for the last few days, just got back today, want to come out for dinner?" Egbert Chumley asked.

At that, Eloise Thompson was in a bit of a bind. She didn't want to be distracted by the fact that she hadn't come up with the perfect plan yet, and they were competitors.

She was still hesitating when Egbert Chumley spoke up with a smirk and reminded, "Eloise, you promised to take me to dinner. Why don't we pick a date and make it tonight?"

Eloise Thompson also remembers that the last time she had dinner with Egbert Chumley, she suddenly had an upset stomach and ended the meal on the spur of the moment, owing him a meal indeed. She looked out of the window, agreed and got up to go to her appointment.
