Love Comes To Me
Chapter 235: The Playground

Agnes Thompson couldn't care less that it was a hospital and tried to get into a big fight with Robbie Gardner in front of a large crowd.

Robbie Gardner tried to restrain herself and said, "You have to know who you are, now that Eloise has Hector Rogers backing her up. If we go against her all the time, one little move by the Rogers Group could put us both out of business!" Seeing that Agnes Thompson was unmoved, he sighed again, "She's not what she used to be these days, not something we can easily afford to offend."

Agnes Thompson grunted, once she could engineer Eloise Thompson's eviction, now she could.

Her eyes gradually became malevolent and she said, almost gritting her teeth, "I will make sure that all of what happened before gets out, not only to ruin her reputation, but to leave her with nothing." Robbie Gardner, after repeatedly failing to persuade him, threatened, "I advise you not to take any more risks, if you offend the Rogers Group, I, the Gardner family, will not protect you."

Hearing that he was trying to clear the air, Agnes Thompson raised her hands in indignation and slapped him loudly across the face with a backhand.

"You're just crazy!"

Robbie Gardner cursed under his breath and simply waved it off.

His mind kept going back to the gentle kindness of Eloise Thompson at the time, and the more he felt that Agnes Thompson was repulsive and ugly at heart.

As he walked, he regretted that he had been blinded by the innocence of Agnes Thompson's disguise.

On the contrary, Eloise Thompson was amused by Solomon many times after he left the hospital with him.

"No Solomon, you can tease Auntie again." She laughed so hard that tears were coming out of her eyes.

Solomon became instantly serious and promised earnestly, "Well, Auntie Eloise, I'm definitely not going to tell jokes anymore."

Eloise Thompson stroked his head and, instead of going home, took him to the amusement park.

He had never been to an amusement park before and he was curious and excited, exclaiming, "Auntie Eloise, this place is amazing, where is this?"

Eloise Thompson was surprised, but on second thought, Solomon had been brought up on a pedestal, and most of the places he went to were high end, so I don't think he had ever been to an amusement park. She took Solomon with her and bought the tickets.

"Is this the Ferris wheel?" Solomon had heard of it, but had never ridden it.

His eyes were full of curiosity about the amusement park as Eloise Thompson carefully introduced him to it.

By the time the Ferris wheel had risen to the top and they were looking down, Solomon suddenly exclaimed in amazement, "Auntie Eloise, what do you see there?"

Eloise Thompson fixed her eyes on the carousel and there it was, and she asked with a sidelong glance, "Does Solomon want to play?"

Solomon nodded heavily, "Want to play."

Getting off the Ferris wheel, she took Solomon again and went over to the carousel.

"Solomon, where do you want to sit?"

This merry-go-round is made up of characters from the hottest cartoons of the moment.

Solomon took an instant liking to Peppa Pig and Eloise Thompson herself carried Solomon up and sat him down.

When the merry-go-round spun up, she was a little uneasy and again admonished, "Solomon you have to sit tight, don't fall."

"Got it, Auntie Eloise, Solomon's got a good grip on it!" Solomon turned back and smiled brightly at her.

The amusement park was huge and they enjoyed themselves all morning, when Eloise Thompson saw that Solomon was still not satisfied and said to him, "Let's go and eat first and then come back and play, shall we?" Although Solomon wanted to continue playing, he fondly followed Eloise Thompson to dinner.

Eloise Thompson ordered a burger for Solomon, as well as an order of fries and a vegetable soup.

Solomon frowned at the sight of vegetable soup, "Can I not have vegetable soup?"

She shook her head firmly, "No. Vegetables are very nutritious, you can't be picky."

Solomon obediently picked up a piece of bok choy and brought it to his mouth.

The gesture with which he ate was very noble, obviously so small a child, but those on the sidelines looked at him and thought he was dining with great elegance.

When Eloise Thompson went to the service desk to get some tissues, the receptionist couldn't help but compliment, "You really have a handsome and understanding child, I envy you!"

She was about to explain that Solomon was not her own child, but when she saw Solomon smiling at her, she smiled and agreed, "Yes, my Solomon is so well behaved."

As soon as she had finished eating, Solomon was eager to take her hand and run to the next project site.

He pointed to the bumper cars with anticipation.

Eloise Thompson bought two tickets and, fearing for her safety, she was afraid to leave Solomon alone in one car and sat next to him.

Once she was about to crash, she subconsciously shielded Solomon.

Solomon was very clever, not too good at it at first, and after watching Eloise Thompson demonstrate it once, he was able to play it well.

In a flash, they had surprisingly played most of the games in the amusement park.

And at that moment, the afterglow of the sunset lingers in the turquoise sky. "Where are you?"

Eloise Thompson received a call from Hector Rogers.

She sent the location over, both of them a little exhausted after playing for so long.

They sat on a stone bench to one side waiting for Hector Rogers to pick them up, and before Solomon sat down, Eloise Thompson didn't forget to put a freshly received leaflet under his bottom. "Why didn't Auntie Eloise pad one herself?" Solomon asked, looking up.

Eloise Thompson smiled, "It's okay Aunty, just go home and change."

Solomon insisted on giving her half a newspaper and she couldn't resist, so she accepted.

It didn't take long for Hector Rogers to arrive. The three of them went to the restaurant to settle down for dinner.

Eloise Thompson seems to have thought of something, and as she is almost done eating, she doesn't forget to chastise Hector Rogers a few times.

"Solomon is still young, so even if you are busy with work during the week, you should still replace time to spend more time with Solomon."

Hector Rogers was humbly impressed, and seeing that it was still early in the day, asked down the pole, "It's time to add more colour to Solomon's childhood, so, Eloise, where are we going to play next?" Eloise Thompson was flabbergasted by his question, and after a moment's contemplation, suggested, "It's getting colder these days, so why don't we go to the mall and buy seasonal clothes for Solomon?" Naturally, Hector Rogers agreed and the three of them went to the mall in company and with pleasure.

Eloise Thompson had a good eye and picked out two outfits in a row for Solomon.

Solomon was lovely and handsome when he changed, and Eloise Thompson grabbed the money while Hector Rogers had already handed over his card.

She picked out two more sets for Hector Rogers. It was very sweet for him to know that she had chosen them herself.

"Eloise, don't just patronise us father and son, you buy a few sets too." Hector Rogers pushed her to the women's section.

She reluctantly picked out a set, not really wanting to break the bank for Hector Rogers.

"Eloise, you haven't even walked in the door yet and you're already thinking of saving me money?" Hector Rogers teased.

"No way!" At his comment, Eloise Thompson's face flushed with shame.

Hector Rogers tried to get her to pick out a few more sets, but when she refused, he said, "You're my girlfriend and I'd be happy to spend money on you."
