Love Comes To Me
Chapter 300: The baby can't be kept

Seeing her attitude go cold all of a sudden, Hector Rogers frowned hard and asked, "Are you angry?"

"No."

She just suddenly wasn't used to him being so cold-blooded, even to an innocent child.

"You're angry." Hector Rogers said, "Eloise, I know you're kind and think the child is innocent."

"I don't deny that the child is innocent, but don't you forget who his parents are and how his parents hurt you, so that when you think about it, you don't think he's innocent."

He wanted her to know that sometimes people don't have to be so kind or they will give people the opportunity to hurt themselves. "I got it."

Eloise Thompson responded indifferently.

She certainly couldn't take in what he was saying for a while, and without forcing her, he smiled and changed the subject, saying, "Solomon is still waiting for you to come back and go to the beach with us, so let's go now, shall we?" Eloise Thompson nods her head.

Hector Rogers shouted Solomon down from upstairs.

As soon as Solomon saw Eloise Thompson, he asked giddily, "Are we going to the beach?"

"Hmm." Hector Rogers stroked his head, "Is everything ready?"

"Ready to go." Solomon responded in a neutral voice.

Hector Rogers laughs, "Let's go then."

The family set off for the beach house for a wonderful two-day weekend there.

Meanwhile on the other side, Agnes Thompson was wheeled into the resuscitation room.

As the minutes ticked by, Robbie Gardner, who was waiting outside, walked anxiously over and over.

"Robbie, will you stop walking, you're shaking my head."

Ela Turner said in a disgruntled voice, already worried enough about her daughter, seeing her walking around like this not only made her more confused, but also made her head spin.

Robbie Gardner gave her a look before stepping aside and leaning against the wall, his gaze fixed on the door to the resuscitation room.

Josh Thompson arrived on the news and looked into the resuscitation room, then went up to Ela Turner and asked anxiously, "How's Agnes? Is everyone okay?"

"It's still being resuscitated, we don't know if it's okay yet."

Josh Thompson frowned, "How on earth could this be? How did this happen?"

At his question, Ela Turner burst into a rage and said with a huff, "It's not that daughter of yours, she's to blame, if it wasn't for her, Agnes wouldn't have fallen!"

"Auntie, it's none of Eloise's business." Robbie Gardner heard her blame Eloise Thompson for the accident and couldn't help but speak up.

"Robbie, what do you mean?" Ela Turner turned her head and glared at him angrily, "You're actually speaking for that woman?"

"Auntie, how is it that I speak for Eloise when I'm telling the truth?"

Robbie Gardner looked at her with amusement.

"You!"

Ela Turner was so angry she couldn't speak.

Robbie Gardner looked to Josh Thompson, "Uncle, it was Agnes who accidentally fell on her own."

"Don't you listen to him!" Ela Turner shouted in exasperation, "It was clearly that bitch Eloise Thompson who pushed it!"

"Aunty, you're going too far, Eloise clearly didn't push Agnes!"

"I said yes!"

"Auntie, you ..."

"That's enough!" Josh Thompson bellowed angrily.

Robbie Gardner could only swallow his retort.

"Robbie," Josh Thompson stared at him with a serious face, "you shouldn't be speaking for another woman now that Agnes is still in resuscitation." "Uncle, I ..."

Robbie Gardner tried to say something and Josh Thompson raised his hand to stop him, "You don't have to say anything, I'll tell what's really going on myself."

He said so, and Robbie Gardner couldn't say anything else.

Just then, the door to the resuscitation room opened and a nurse came out.

"Is the family of Agnes Thompson here?"

"We are."

Josh Thompson, Ela Turner and Robbie Gardner rushed to meet them.

"The baby will not be saved, so prepare yourselves, while the pregnant woman herself is not in danger of dying for now and will be sent to the ward after the operation." The baby can't be saved!

The news came as a bolt from the blue and both Josh Thompson and Robbie Gardner were dumbfounded.

The nurse had no time for them and turned around to go back to the resuscitation room.

"Nurse, I'm begging you, please, you must help us keep the baby." As soon as Robbie Gardner responded, she rushed up and pulled the nurse with her.

"I understand how you feel, but I'm sorry, we've done all we can." The nurse pulled his hand away and walked into the resuscitation room without looking back. The door is closed.

Robbie Gardner's legs gave out and he fell to his knees with a thud.

The child is gone.

His baby is gone.

"How did this happen?" Ela Turner cried as she collapsed into Josh Thompson's arms.

...

Agnes Thompson woke up and was so excited to learn that the baby was gone that she cried and screamed, the IV needle inserted in her hand ran out of the needle and blood backed up into the tube. But she didn't feel any pain at all.

Several doctors and nurses forced her down and gave her a sedative injection before she calmed down.

"She is very weak, you families need to be careful not to get her so worked up again or her body will not be able to cope."

The doctor accounted for Robbie Gardner.

Robbie Gardner nodded with a stony face, "I know."

Ela Turner was wiping away her tears and Robbie Gardner was in turmoil when he heard her crying.

He turned his head to Agnes Thompson in her hospital bed, her face so pale that there was no trace of blood, and he sighed heavily, with mixed emotions.

...

The Hector Rogers family spent a pleasant weekend at the beach, unaware of the Agnes Thompson affair, until early Monday morning, when they headed back to the city.

Dropped Solomon off at the nursery on the way and dropped Eloise Thompson back home.

"Be careful on the road." Eloise Thompson unbuckled her seatbelt and was about to get out of the car.

"Wait." Hector Rogers pulled her back.

"What's wrong?" Eloise Thompson looked back at him.

Hector Rogers raised an eyebrow, "Aren't you forgetting something?"

Forgotten what?

Eloise Thompson looked around, "No, I've got all my stuff."

"Eloise Thompson, are you playing dumb?" Hector Rogers narrowed his eyes dangerously.

"I don't have..."

Eloise Thompson's face heated up at the thought, and she gave him an unpleasantly angry look, "Can't you just say it?"

Hector Rogers smiled without saying a word, his deep eyes fixed on her.

She bit her lip, hesitated, then took a deep breath and leaned in to touch his lips, only to have him clasp the back of her head and give her a deep French kiss.

The hot lips and tongue, the stormy attack, she was helpless, she could only cling to his arm and let him attack her.

Just when she thought she was going to choke, he finally and reluctantly left her lips.

His eyes locked on her red, kissed lips and his eyes were dark.

"I wish I could eat you up in one bite."

Eloise Thompson's heart fluttered hard as his low, dark voice rang out from the ambiguity-filled car.

She hurriedly pushed him away, "Be careful on the road."

Hector Rogers couldn't help but laugh out loud as he watched her open the door and get out of the car as if she had fled. Why is she so cute?
