Love Comes To Me
Chapter 327: Eloise

As soon as the maid saw Eloise enter the dining room, she immediately turned into the kitchen and came out with a bowl of soup still steaming in her hand.

"Eloise, be careful it's hot, drink slowly."

Hearing the name coming out of the servant's mouth, Eloise hurriedly corrected her, "Your prince and I are not married, just call me Miss Eloise."

"No, Madame has explained that everyone is to call you Eloise."

Hector's mother explained it?

Is this... approval for her to be with Hector?

I can't tell you how I feel, it's like I'm happy and not happy, it's quite complicated.

Never mind, Hector's mother really accepted her anyway.

The thought of this put her in a very soothing mood and she drank the soup in one gulp.

Hector's mother came in and saw her gulping down her soup and looked relieved, thinking that the child had a good appetite and that she should ask the kitchen to make more soup to get her well soon.

Eloise looked at Hector's mother who walked up to her and hurriedly swallowed the soup in her mouth and stood up, "Aunty."

Seeing her being so careful, Hector's mother frowned, "Eloise, you don't have to be so formal, just make yourself at home."

Hector's mother thought about it and felt as if she had said the wrong thing, so she added, "The Rogers family will be your real home too in the future and you will be one of the owners here, so relax and have fun however you like." That's true, but Eloise doesn't dare let up.

They have had a hard time accepting themselves, so it would be bad if they relaxed and revealed any flaws and left a bad impression on them.

But Hector's mother said so, and she could only smile and nod, "Auntie, I know."

Hector's mother smiled with satisfaction and then asked, "More drinks?"

"No, I'm full already."

"Let me know if you want anything, or just speak to the butler."

"Good."

Eloise went back upstairs where Hector had gone to his study. She went to the door of the study and peered in to see Hector sitting at his desk, his head bowed in seriousness as he looked over his papers. "Come in."

He obviously didn't look up at her, but he knew she was coming. He had good hearing.

Eloise gave a small mental sigh.

She walked over to him, glanced at the document he was reading and raised an eyebrow at the financial statement.

"You want to see it?" Hector looked up at her.

"No, a bunch of numbers makes me dizzy." Eloise shook her head in respect.

Hector chuckled softly.

He closed the statement, "Do you want to come and help me at Rogers Group when you get better?"

"To Rogers Group?"

Eloise couldn't believe her ears a little, "You're not kidding, are you?"

The Rogers Group is one of the largest groups in China, and many people have tried their best to get in, but they can't because the Rogers Group has some of the highest recruitment requirements in the industry, not only in terms of education, but also in terms of character and personality.

But now he wants her to help out at Rogers Group at the drop of a hat.

If she says yes, does that count as going through the back door?

And it's the biggest one by the back door.

"I'm not joking, I'm serious."

Rather than having her work in someone else's company, she should be by her side so that she can be seen from time to time.

In the end, he was afraid that she would leave without saying goodbye, as she had done last time.

"But I'm just an advertising planner, what do I do in your company? A receptionist or a secretary?" "What do you want to do?"

"Well..." Eloise thought hard, a sudden sly glint in her eye and a smirk, "Your assistant, like Thomas." "Yes." He agreed without even thinking about it.

Eloise was stunned.

This is really too casual too!

Thomas is an MBA graduate from a prestigious foreign institution, which she can't compete with.

She was self-conscious enough to say, "Forget it, I'll just be a good girl and be my advertising planner."

"Really not coming?" Hector asked.

Eloise said, "I'm afraid I'll get you into trouble and you'll be embarrassed if I make a mistake, so ... I'd rather not go."

Even in such matters, he was the first person she considered.

Hector's eyes sank, and suddenly he reached around her waist and lifted her onto his lap.

"What are you doing?"

The sudden intimacy made Eloise's heart flutter hard and her pale face flush.

"Eloise."

He buried his head in the nape of her neck and as he spoke, his breath sprayed all over the sensitive muscles of her ear. Her body shuddered. She lowered her head and gave a soft "mmm".

"I hope that in future, whatever comes your way, you will put you first before considering others."

He suddenly said this and Eloise was a little confused, "Why are you saying this in a good way?"

"Because you're too kind."

Why did he sound as if he resented it?

Eloise couldn't help but frown and look over at him, "You don't like it?"

"Like it, but I'd prefer you to be selfish."

Only by being selfish can she be well without being hurt by others.

Eloise raised her eyebrows, "I'm actually quite selfish too. For example ... I'm pretty selfish about my feelings for you."

She wanted him to be good to her alone, to love her alone.

That would be considered selfish.

Hector suddenly laughed, spurting out breath that made Eloise scowl and whisper, "Don't you laugh, it tickles."

"Eloise, I'm so happy." Hector said.

Eloise froze, then responded, the corners of her lips lifting slowly as she said, in one particularly clear word, "I'm happy too." The surroundings were quiet, still and welcoming.

It felt as if all those troubles had left them and the whole world was just the two of them.

"I'll take you, and Solomon, on holiday when you're well enough."

It was a long time before Hector spoke again.

"A holiday?"

"Well, to celebrate the fact that we are officially together."

Eloise looked at him sideways, amused, "Celebrating? Why even celebrate this?"

"Because I'm happy."

Eloise: ...

It's a bit of a random and overbearing reason, so one really doesn't know what to say.

"Where are we going?" Eloise asked.

"Where do you want to go?" Wherever she wanted to go, even to the ends of the earth, he was with her.

"Well..." Eloise thought hard about this and after about ten seconds or so her eyes lit up with excitement, "Let's go abroad, any island will do." "Good. I'll ask Thomas to replace a nice quiet island and we'll fly there as soon as you're well enough."

"It's a deal. Don't have a job and not be able to go when it comes."

It didn't matter to her, she was just afraid that Solomon would be disappointed when the time came.

"No, I'll get my schedule together and free up a few days to spend with you guys."

Eloise instantly narrowed her eyes with a smile, "Then I'm relieved."

She was suddenly looking forward to her holiday and really hoped her body would recover in no time!
