Love Comes To Me
Chapter 337: Okay, I promise you

Reeva is out of the country.

Hector's parents were surprised to learn of Eloise's decision.

But on second thought, it was no surprise that she was so kind that she would do it.

This brought the matter to a successful conclusion.

Eloise started to put all her heart and soul into her work and she had to complete an excellent advertising campaign in two weeks.

Egbert sent her the other company's products.

When she received it, she tried it herself and also let Hector's mother try it, and then wrote down all of Hector's mother's feelings about using it.

When she got up from work, she lost track of time, and sometimes when it was time to eat, the housekeeper came up and called out several times, but she didn't go down.

Hector's mother, who had been worried about her health for several times in a row, could not help but say something to her when she brought her some fruit.

"Eloise, we all have no problem with you wanting to work, but can you be more conscious? Go downstairs for dinner when it's time, rest when it's time to rest, don't put all your time and thought into your work, otherwise how will your body get better?"

Hector's mother's chanting makes Eloise think of her own mother in a very intimate and heartwarming way.

She smiled at Hector's mother and said, "Auntie, I know the score myself, don't you worry about me."

"How can I not be worried? You've been so busy these past two days, you haven't even eaten properly, can I not be worried?"

Hector's mother was getting more and more angry as she spoke, and her face was turning bad.

Seeing that she was really angry, Eloise spat out her tongue and hurriedly put down her work, got up and walked over to her.

"Auntie, I know my body well enough on my own, it's much better." She put her arm around Hector's mother's shoulders and led her to a side sofa where she sat down.

Then continued, "Auntie, I know you care about me, but I'm really fine, just a little work won't do anything to me."

"Is that so?" Hectorâ€TMs mother glared at her without good grace.

"Yes." Eloise smiled and nodded her head vigorously, "I used to be much busier and sometimes I couldn't keep up with my meals or sleep, so don't worry, I'll be fine."

"Can't keep up with food and sleep?" Hector's mother frowned and looked her up and down, "No wonder you're so skinny. No, you don't do what you used to do in the Rogers family, one Hector in the house is enough, you just eat and sleep on time, okay?" Eloise nodded, "Good."

Hector's mother smiled with satisfaction, "Don't be like Hector, he can't even recognize his own family when he's working, before he met you, all he could think about was work, let alone a girlfriend, but luckily for you."

She thought her son would have to live with work for the rest of his life, but luckily with Eloise, he finally got a bit of popularity.

"Aunty, it's also because of Hector that the Rogers Group is what it is today, isn't it?" Eloise spoke up for her man.

Hector's mother sighed, "That's true, but I'd prefer him to be like a normal person, with a wife and children and a happy little family. So ..."

She looked at Eloise tenderly, "I'm grateful to you, Eloise."

Eloise froze, "Thank me for what?"

It was good enough that they didn't mind her, a woman who had given birth, and now to thank her for it was something she didn't dare to think about at all. "Thank you for the happiness you brought to Hector and Solomon."

Happiness?

Eloise laughed softly, "Actually, I should be the one to thank you all for giving me the warmth and happiness of a family again. Auntie, I really thank you and Uncle." Although they didn't like her at first, they eventually accepted her.

Accepting a woman like her is really appreciated by them.

"Silly child, what's all this talk about thank you." Hector's mother patted her hand, "Don't even say pretentious things, go and eat your fruit before you work, okay?" "Mmm." Eloise nodded vigorously.

Hector's mother smiled, "I'll leave you to it then. You get busy."

The smile on Eloise's face never faded as she watched Hector's mother go out. She turned her head to the cut up fruit on the desk and her smile grew even bigger, a feeling of happiness came over her. How nice it would be to live the rest of your life in peace and quiet like this.

...

"Doctor, when can I be discharged from hospital?"

It's a question that Rupert asks at least ten times a day.

He really didn't want to stay in the hospital anymore and felt like he was getting mouldy.

"You're keen to get out of hospital?" The doctor asked him.

He nodded his head as if he was a child, "Yes, yes, can I be discharged?"

He looked at the doctor expectantly, his eyes shining brightly.

The doctor raised his lips in a smile, then curled them and said with an expressionless face, "Don't think about it, you'll have to stay for another half month at the very least." "Half a month?!"

Rupert fell back into bed like a deflated ball and lamented, "Why am I so miserable? I can't believe I have to stay for half a month."

"No, I want to be discharged, I must be discharged today!"

Rupert turned his head to glare at the doctor, and the determination in his eyes startled him.

The doctor quickly calmed down and coldly refused: "No! Do you want your leg or not? If you want it, just lie still and half a month will soon pass."

"Where's the sooner?" Rupert kept squirming like a childish child, trying to force the doctor to agree to his discharge in this way.

"What's going on here?" Aisly walked in, looking at the doctor in wonder, and then at Rupert.

The doctor covered the medical record book and said uncharitably, "He's making a fuss about being discharged and I don't agree."

"Discharged?" Aisly frowned, "How can you be discharged when this leg isn't even healed?"

At that, Rupert was immediately upset, "Wanda, are you on my side or his side?"

"I'm on the side of truth." Aisly smiled back.

Rupert was left speechless and could only turn his head away, not wanting to look at them.

"Doctor, go ahead and get busy, I'll take care of this place." Aisly said to the doctor with a smile. "Good, then persuade him well."

"Got it."

Aisly watched the doctor leave before turning her head to look at Rupert, and laughed when she saw that he was acting like a little child, throwing a tantrum and not wanting to look at her. What a childish thing to do!

"Hey Rupert, don't you want the number of our head nurse? I'll give it to you."

After so many days, they were familiar enough to call each other by their first names, and she knew what his weaknesses were.

So as soon as she spoke this, Rupert immediately turned his head and asked uncertainly, "You're giving it to me? Not lying to me?"

"I'll give it to you as long as you behave and don't make a scene out of the hospital." Aisly said what she wanted.

Rupert narrowed his eyes, thinking hard about her words.

Aisly didn't rush him either and helped herself to changing his medicine.

I don't know how long it took before Rupert spoke, "Yes, I promise you."

At those words, Aisly's hands moved with a slight twinkle in her eyes, and then, turning her head to look at him, she laughed and teased, "Looks like women are more important than your discharge."
