Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 378: Just trying to get money and kill people
After hearing what Hall said, Hector's eyes were gloomy to the extreme, his already cold face, at this time, even more because of his bad mood, looked a bit shady and scary. Although Hall already knew what kind of man he was, he couldn't help but shiver at the sight of his eyes at this moment.
It was said that the Prince of the Rogers family was cold and hard to approach, but Hall felt it very clearly at this moment.
He had never been like this before, no matter what, and it seemed that the young lady had a very important place in his heart.
Before Hall could finish thinking about this, he heard Hector say sorrowfully, "If you dare to touch my people, even if he is the King of Hell, you will still have to deal with him." As he said this, he glanced coldly out of the window.
A breeze blew outside the window at the right time, making his words even more frightening.
Hall heard him out and then busied himself with, "That's natural."
Hector nodded, then said, "You go keep an eye on Arthur."
Hall led the way before Hector loosened his tight grip on that hand, his eyes narrowing dangerously. Arthur, I want to see what you're up to.
With that in mind, Hector dialed the phone at hand and whispered, "Thomas, come in here for a moment." Thomas was not far away, and in a moment he was seen hurrying in.
"President, what is it?"
"Do you know if Stephens Group has any properties in the country?" Hector's tone remained flat, as if none of the anger that had just emanated from him had come from him. Thomas knew about the company, but Hector hadn't asked him before, so he said, "Yes, Findal has a series of entertainment properties that are owned by them."
Hearing him out, Hector said coldly, "Then make some trouble, and if they don't get it, I don't mind expelling them and never getting a foothold again."
Although he didn't know why Hector was doing this, Thomas had been with him for so long after all, and knew his style of doing things, so he wasn't going to ask, so he just said, "Hmm." Once Thomas had received his orders, Hector waved him out and then returned to his work.
It had been an eventful day recently, and he had too much on his plate to rest.
It was noon when Eloise brought Solomon to Hector for lunch, but he hadn't noticed the time and was still working hard.
Solomon was also very understanding and did not speak, and the two mothers just tiptoed into the office without Hector noticing.
After about ten minutes or so, Hector looked up and noticed that mother and son were sitting in the corner of the office playing on their phones.
It would be worth it to see them waiting here for him after every busy day, even if it was a busy day.
"When did you guys get here, and why didn't you say so?" Hector dropped what he was doing and walked towards them silently.
Eloise said busily, "I haven't been here long, I saw you were busy, so I didn't bother."
"Just call me when you come in from now on, it's just work, it's not as important as you guys." Hector looked at them with tenderness in his eyes. Eloise smiled lightly and didn't say anything.
Solomon couldn't help himself and said, "Daddy I'm hungry, where are we going to get something to eat?"
Hector rubbed his head, "Where do you want to go to eat?"
"I want to eat at that new place over there, I saw it when I was here, the decor is so cool." Solomon said and hated to fly straight there.
Hector said helplessly, "You know where you're going, why are you asking me?"
Solomon laughed a little embarrassed, took his hand and was ready to go.
They didn't ask for much in the way of food, so of course they listened to Solomon.
The three of them just went to the restaurant for lunch, and during the meal Eloise mentioned, "It's not a busy day anyway, so why don't we go visit Rupert in the hospital after work."
I'd heard he was doing well, but he was still in hospital, so I didn't feel comfortable not visiting him.
Hector said, "No, he's gone home today to recuperate."
At the moment, Rupert was in his private home.
"Aisly, are you done yet?" Rupert was playing a game on the sofa while he urged Aisly.
Aisly, on the other hand, was busy in the kitchen at the moment, cooking a meal.
"Don't rush, I'll bring it to you when it's ready, just play the game first." Aisly was speechless as she looked at the big man playing a game on the sofa.
Her own brain was really caught in the door before she agreed to this guy to take care of him.
This morning, this guy was going to be discharged from the hospital. After all, he had stayed in their hospital for so long, so she couldn't just ignore him for the sake of reason, so out of courtesy, she came to see him off. Rupert immediately came to life and said, "Aisly, I don't think I've recovered yet, so how can I be discharged?"
Aisly couldn't stand the sight of him and said, "Follow the doctor's orders."
Rupert couldn't always stay in the hospital, it wasn't a good idea to take up public resources, but... how could he get her to keep looking after himself.
Only he had a bright idea and busied himself with, "I need a professional carer to look after me, I think you'd be good, think about it?"
Aisly ignored him.
"Twenty thousand a day." Rupert said.
Aisly was impressed.
She was so short of money, and such a high wage was more than she could replace, and it was only to look after one person, much easier than looking after a group of people in a hospital. "Okay, I promise."
And so, with that, Aisly followed him to his private villa.
"I'm thirsty, go and get me some water." The prince on the sofa began to yell again.
Aisly had no choice but to stop what she was doing and go over to pour him some more water.
She had thought it would be easy to look after someone, but Aisly now realised that she had been very wrong. She hadn't stopped for the rest of the day, she had been treated like a maid, and Rupert had a lot of shit to do. Aisly brought the water over with a puzzled look on her face, "Obviously you have a maid in your house too, why do you call me."
Rupert took a sip of the water and immediately spat it out, displeased, "It's so hot, pour a new one."
Aisly had to go and pour a new glass.
This satisfied Rupert and then said, "You stuffed me with a whole apple this morning and now you're pouring me boiling water, I think you're trying to kill me."
Aisly didn't even want to talk to him and simply said, "Please answer my previous question."
"Of course it's going to be worth the money spent, after all, twenty thousand a day."
Aisly was speechless.
