Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 409: Dream on
Looking at his shocked look, Agnes said with a cold snort, "It's literally the same thing, back then that old immortal, transferred all the shares under his name to Eloise.
The most powerful person in the Thompson Group is now Eloise, so you'll need her consent if you want to take over the Thompson Group, except that the will needs Eloise to get married in order for it to take effect." Robbie was deep in thought, he had done all the calculations but he hadn't thought it would go wrong here.
But now Eloise was so well protected by Hector that he had no access to her at all.
If he had known that fact, he would never have chosen to leave Eloise, but there was no point in regretting it now.
He took one look at Agnes and found the woman repulsive, and she was no match for Eloise in terms of temperament.
"I see, you can leave now." Robbie said coldly.
Faced with the indifferent Robbie, Agnes got up and said discontentedly, "Robbie are you going to use me and then toss me aside?"
"Send the guests away."
At these words, a security guard immediately came over and took Agnes by the arm, intending to take her out.
Agnes didn't expect Robbie to do this to her and fought the security guards, but she was no match for them and was dragged straight out.
All the way downstairs, Agnes was thrown out like a rag.
"Robbie, you ungrateful man! I won't let you off the hook just like that!"
There was some more shouting downstairs before Agnes turned to leave.
After Agnes left the house, Ela also moved on, knowing that Eloise was still at work, so she went straight to the Rogers Group and shouted from downstairs.
I have to say that both mothers and daughters act in a similar way.
Eloise heard someone say that the woman downstairs was coming to see her and went downstairs.
When she saw Ela, Eloise's face sank.
"Well, Eloise you finally had the nerve to come and see me." Ela pounced on Eloise as soon as she saw her.
"What wouldn't I dare to see you for." Eloise said coldly.
"You who have severed your ties with the Thompson family, what face do you have to inherit the Thompson family's property, be sensible and hand over your shares as soon as possible."
Ela's loud voice caused a number of people to watch and to avoid causing a stir, Eloise looked at Ela and said, "If you have anything to say go across the street to the cafe, I don't want to be looked at like an animal like you." With that, Eloise turned and left.
"You!!!"
By the time Ela understood the meaning of Eloise's words, Eloise had already walked away and she had to follow her.
"You little bitch, how dare you call me a beast, I think you've really lived to tell the tale."
Ela saw Eloise and raised her hand to hit her in the face.
She squeezed Ela's arm and said, "If you want to talk about it, then behave yourself, if not, I don't have time to spend with you."
With those words, she shook off Ela's hand, feeling sick to her stomach at the thought of touching such a person for even a second.
The look in Eloise's eyes had been so harsh that it had frightened Ela, and seeing that Eloise had become a different person, she had to take it easy.
When Ela had calmed down, Eloise took a sip of her coffee and asked, "What did you mean by shares?"
Upon hearing this, Ela said in an unpleasant voice, "It's not because of your deceased grandfather, who transferred his shares to you before he died, and now that the Thompson family is in trouble, hurry up and return what doesn't belong to you."
After hearing Ela's words, Eloise was very shocked, she didn't expect that her grandfather had left her an inheritance at the beginning, but why had she never heard anyone mention this news before?
Seeing that Eloise didn't answer for half a day, Ela said impatiently, "Are you deaf or dumb, I'm talking to you."
Despite Ela's somewhat unpleasant words, Eloise continued in a conciliatory manner, "Is this what you came to see me about today?"
"Or what? Did you think I wanted to see you?" Ela said with a blank look.
"Then I can tell you clearly, if you want to take the shares from me, it is impossible, dream on."
"You!!! What do you mean?"
Hearing Eloise's words, Ela looked at her incredulously.
"This is my grandfather's inheritance left to me, why should I give it to you? Since this share is now at my sole discretion, I have the right to dispose of it, and I will not give it to you even if I donate it to charity!" Eloise's words were so forceful that Ela was at a loss for words to refute them.
In fact, Eloise had been watching the Thompson family for the past few days, and at first she had been a little confused as to why Josh had suddenly come to her door.
Now everything could be right, maybe Josh had come to talk to her about it that day, only she had refused.
Now that she thought about it, these people were really disgusting, no wonder Grandpa wouldn't give Josh his shares.
"You bitch, what gives you the right to hog the Thompson family's property, grab it and spit it out!"
Ela said and was about to come up and do it when Eloise dodged and grabbed the coffee from the table and splashed it in Ela's face.
And then she took some cash out of her bag and put it on the table and said coldly, "Today's coffee is on me, I'm done, goodbye." Then he turned and left.
When she came to her senses, Eloise was already far away and she could only scream like a madwoman.
When people around her saw her, they thought she was a psycho, and Ela was asked to leave by the security guard.
Back at the office, Eloise was in a state of shock, she had never thought that her grandfather would leave her something.
Just then the phone rang, and it was Hector calling.
"Eloise, are you all right? I just heard that Ela came here to make a scene. Something's going on." Hector's worried voice came through. Eloise's heart warmed and she said softly, "I'm fine."
"Come up for lunch, I've ordered lunch."
After hanging up the phone, Eloise made her way to Hector's office.
As soon as she entered, he hugged her tightly, and Hector rested his head against her shoulder without speaking.
Eloise knew he was worried about her and patted him on the back to show she was okay.
"By the way, Hector I have something to tell you."
Eloise took Hector's hand and sat down, speaking Ela's words to Hector.
