Love Comes To Me
Chapter 470: I do

Then there was a darkness at her side and a tall figure stepped up to her.

The familiar scent of perfume hit her nose and Aisly was dizzy, knowing who was coming.

She turned back and asked stiffly, "What are you doing here?"

Rupert, however, ignored her, his eyes, always smiling, now held something cool and icy as he looked across at the man.

The man looked confused, looked at Rupert and then at Aisly, a hint of anger surfaced in his eyes and questioned, "What's your relationship?"

"This is my girlfriend, what do you think our relationship is?"

Rupert reached right out and swept Aisly into his arms, raising his chin.

A dignified aristocratic air emanates from his body.

Aisly's eyes widened abruptly, they weren't at all, how could he say that.

Everyone else in the restaurant had long been attracted to this side of the room and were looking over.

The man, on the other hand, looked at Aisly with disbelief and anger, his lips quivering as if he had been terribly humiliated.

Aisly was embarrassed beyond belief, although the man was a superb one, but it was one thing for people to come on a blind date as equals and not see it, it was another thing for her to be in her current situation. "That, we..."

"Let's go." Rupert wouldn't even allow her to talk to the very best of men, putting a strong arm around her shoulders and ushering her away from the scene.

Aisly struggled and couldn't get free.

She looked up just in time to see the side of Rupert's face, cold and without a trace of expression.

Rupert is angry.

A thought came to her mind, and her mind became even more confused.

The Rupert we used to see was always cheeky, never so serious.

What to do, he won't hit me.

Startled by her own thoughts, and even more apprehensive when she saw the direction Rupert was taking her in, Aisly struggled hard.

"That's how much you want to go back?" Rupert released her and said coldly.

Aisly took a step back and pursed her lips.

"I don't want to go back."

Rupert tugged at the corners of his mouth, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.

"You've got your eye on that man? Not a good eye, bald, calculating face, forty years old at a glance."

Aisly looked at Rupert with her mouth open.

People are only twenty-nine years old, where they are forty.

Aisly looked at him in a complicated way, "He's only twenty-nine."

Rupert didn't care how old he was, he just got more angry when he saw Aisly giving him a talking to.

"He's quite a disaster to look at then."

Aisly couldn't hold it in and snorted out a laugh, which she quickly put away again.

For she could see that Rupert was very unhappy. A quiet glance at the man in front of her and he stank of a scowl.

Aisly was a bit overwhelmed, she hadn't dealt with this situation before and didn't know what to do.

Rupert was angry and he was halfway through his meal with the staff when the commotion inside got so bad that he came out for air. Who would have thought that it would be such a coincidence to see Aisly, with a man sitting in front of him, and that man was so ugly. Mr Rupert was furious and for the first time doubted his own charm.

Between him and the bald guy, it's amazing that Aisly would rather be on a blind date with the bald guy than be with him!

He was just overwhelmed with sadness and didn't know what kind of mentality he was holding.

Listening to the conversation between the two men, the man was simply low to the ground.

All the things she said were insulting to Aisly, who was so angry that she sat still.

Rupert couldn't help himself, he rushed out and pulled the person away, the woman, and she didn't even like it!

"If I hadn't turned up today, would you have been with him?!" Rupert asked with a cold face.

Aisly shook her head in a rush, "Of course not, I don't actually fancy him."

Hearing Aisly's denial first hand, Rupert was in a better mood.

He then said how could a guy like that be good enough for his Aisly.

But the thought of Aisly rejecting him as well made Rupert feel stuffy.

"You've gotten to the point of a blind date and you won't accept me, I'm that annoying to you?" Rupert gambled. There was a touch of childishness in his tone.

Aisly is silent, how should she tell Rupert that the match was not her intention, but her mother's?

Some time ago, Bonita's mother became very ill and was treated in hospital for a long time and almost didn't make it.

It is for this reason that Bonita's mother feels anxious to go and arrange a match for Aisly as soon as possible.

She is in poor health and may leave one day, leaving her daughter alone, and she will not be able to leave without peace of mind even if she does.

It was for this reason that she dragged her sick body to replace her other half, despite Aisly's discouragement.

Aisly didn't want to worry her mother and had to go along with her.

There was just something inside her that she couldn't quite put her finger on, but she couldn't quite put her finger on where that feeling came from. Rupert looked at Aisly, who had her head down and didn't speak or look at him.

He suddenly felt a little powerless, there were so many girls adoring him in that box not far away.

As long as he's loose, he's not worried about a girlfriend at all.

However, he wouldn't, because those weren't the ones he wanted.

The only one he wanted, the only one in front of him, was the one who didn't give him any half-hearted respect.

"I'm leaving." Aisly avoided answering and stepped around him trying to leave.

A wall of flesh stopped in front of her and Aisly suddenly panicked a little, subconsciously squeezing her fingers tighter.

"You're running away again?" A flash of anger crossed Rupert's eyes.

Aisly's eyes dodged, "I didn't..."

"Then I ask you, will you be my girlfriend, answer positively, and if not, you will reject me loudly."

Rupert doesn't give her the slightest reason to back off.

Aisly's heart fluttered hard and she looked at Rupert's earnest, serious face in a trance.

The difference between her and Rupert, who is Mr Rupert of the Rogers Group, the Grand Prince of the top gentry, is too great. She was just an ordinary girl who couldn't have been more ordinary.

Rupert, really not teasing her?

"Talk!" Rupert prodded.

In a rush, Aisly blurted out, "You didn't answer my question either."

Rupert was stunned and thought for a moment before he slowly said, "Aisly, I like you, please go out with me."

"I will treat you well and love only you, Rupert hereby promises to do as he says."

Aisly's heart skipped a beat as the general words of reassurance slammed into her head.

Rupert actually said he liked it! He said he liked her?

Aisly jerked her head up and said in a shaky voice, "You didn't lie to me!"

Rupert wrinkled his brow, less than pleased, "I've never been that serious with my mother, and you're saying I'm lying to you?"

Aisly stared at him in awe, and suddenly her eyes became round and bright, something bright and shiny shimmering.

"Aisly, you haven't answered me."

With a dual struggle of thoughts and feelings, Aisly sees her heart clearly.

She looked earnestly at Rupert, nodded vigorously and said, "I do!"
