Love Comes To Me
Chapter 566: Where the pot doesn't boil, the pot does

Solomon had some trepidation in his heart, but it soon receded when he saw how welcoming everyone was to them. "Grandma's little baby, Grandma has missed you so much, let her have a good look."

With that said, Mrs Matriarch had Solomon spinning around, hating to stare holes in Solomon up and down.

You can't hide the joy on Solomon's face when you look at how much stronger he is than before.

Next to him, Mr Fletcher came over and stood in front of Hector. Father and son looked at each other and just hugged.

A thousand words were conveyed to each other in this embrace.

Rupert and Aisly arrived at the news an hour later.

Upon entering, I found a family already seated on the living room, all gathered around the father and son.

Solomon was enjoying himself even more, lying on the sofa while Mrs Matriarch kept feeding him.

The sound of the door opening rang out and Solomon was the first to spot Rupert and Aisly entering and immediately rushed over to them. "Little Uncle, Auntie Aisly!"

Rupert subconsciously tried pick up Solomon and was a little dismayed to replace that it was a little heavy and almost too heavy to hold. After a closer look at Solomon, I noticed that the kid had grown taller and his weight had gone up with him.

Not the little blob you used to be able to pick up with your hands.

"Miss me Boo?" Solomon asked smartly, and raised an eyebrow at Rupert.

Rupert gave Solomon a blank look and said in a petulant manner, "Come on, don't we see ins every day?"

Solomon makes a face with his tongue out and immediately switches to a different face when he looks at Aisly next to him.

"Auntie Aisly, no, now it's Auntie, you're still so pretty! No, more beautiful than before, a fairy."

Aisly hides her smile at the compliment and blushes slightly at the name he calls her.

She cut and rubbed the tip of Solomon's nose and smiled, "Thanks, Solomon's getting more handsome too."

At this point Hector came over and whispered, "Solomon, come down and don't be rude."

At the sight of his daddy, Solomon climbed down nimbly.

Rupert's nose flared a little when he saw Hector.

He stepped forward and reached forward, and the two brothers clinked fists in perfect harmony.

"Brother, welcome home." He said with emotion.

Hector looked to Rupert and Aisly for heartfelt congratulations.

"Well, congratulations to you too, the former playboy finally has a family too."

At that, Rupert rubbed his head and was a little embarrassed.

At the words, Aisly whacked Rupert.

Rupert immediately looked at Aisly with a pleading look and then said, "Brother, so what, sorry, it seems I have to get married first. I was going to wait until my sister-in-law came back... ah!" Before he could finish his sentence, Rupert received a solid blow to the back of the head and Rupert screamed.

Turning back with a resentful look on his face, he tried to settle the score with the person who had hit him, and when he found out it was Mrs Matriarch, the fireworks went out at once. "Mom, what are you hitting me for?"

"What's wrong with telling you which pot to beat?"

Mrs Matriarch winked in Hector's direction with a very worried look.

As an afterthought, Rupert knew that he had stepped on a minefield and covered his mouth for a moment.

"It's okay." Hector's expression rippled as he spoke with a faint smile.

The family relaxed when they were sure there was nothing unusual about Hector.

Rupert, on the other side, saw how light-hearted Hector was and immediately covered his head and accused Mrs Matriarch.

"Mom, you see my brother is fine, why are you making such a fuss? And can you stop treating me like this in the future, I am at least the president of Rogers Group, how humiliating it is to spread the word!" "What's wrong with the president? I'm still the president's mother? What, not giving a fight? When you get married later, save it for Aisly to clean you up."

Mrs Matriarch said passing a look to Aisly who nodded at her words.

"Aisly you don't show any mercy in future, just beat him up if you have to, this guy is just itchy, he's not beaten for a day."

Mrs Matriarch finished with her arms crossed and didn't feel anything at all.

"God, there's no justice! Honey, they're bullying me!" Rupert screamed out in dismay, collapsing on Aisly's shoulder in accusation. Seeing this Aisly flicked Rupert's forehead and said threateningly, "See if you don't behave yourself in the future, I'll clean you up." Upon hearing Aisly's words, Rupert's screams became even louder.

Hector relaxed at the sight of such a happy family.

It was only when he returned home that he felt less of a burden on his shoulders and his whole body became much lighter.

The following day, Mrs Matriarch organised a reception for Hector.

Naturally, Hector had little objection.

Mrs Matriarch offered to take Solomon out again and was very excited to hear that she could go out and took Aisly's hand and asked her to come along. Aisly smiled and rubbed Solomon's head with a lot of emotion in her heart.

She is lucky to have met such a good family.

It was late in the evening before Mrs Matriarch and Aisly returned from outside with Solomon.

As soon as he arrived home, Solomon collapsed on the sofa.

He had thought shopping would be fun, but he had underestimated the buying power of women.

Mrs Matriarch said that he and Daddy had just returned and there was still a lot of stuff needed at home.

He just felt as if he had spent the afternoon shopping the entire North District mall.

At this time, the Rogers family were busy and Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch were overjoyed.

Rupert, who was feeding Aisly like nobody's business, kept pounding her leg.

Hector was very pleased to see such a heartwarming scene.

Over the years, Rupert has become the head of the Rogers Group and has become a much more sedate and introspective person.

I've heard my mother talk about it too, and the warblers around him were completely eliminated.

Aisly was the only one who stayed around for a long time, and the long relationship between the two drew a lot of emotions. Rupert, the prodigal son, has finally changed his ways.

Or rather Aisly had completely domesticated him.

Although the two also went through a lot, they eventually made it work.

This ending is a situation that everyone in the Rogers family would have liked to see and are happy for them.

While Mrs Matriarch prepared the food, Solomon followed along, ate and drank and had a good time.

It looks wonderful as the family goes about their business, but the beauty also draws out some of the past.

This scene also gradually evokes feelings in Hector's mind.

There should have been a woman standing by his side as well.

She held his arm happily, smiling like a flower ...

Dropping his eyes, Hector smiled bitterly, deliberately pushing down that melancholy emotion.

Turning back to the study, he opened the window and poured himself a glass of red wine.

I took a sip of the wine and could not taste the liquid in my throat.

Instead, Eloise's smiling face is reflected more and more clearly in the bottom of the glass ... Eloise, where the hell are you!

Hector closed his eyes and thought with some pain.
