Love Comes To Me
Chapter 594: Step by Step

"Daddy, I'm going out, bye!"

The next morning, Solomon had slept particularly well all night as he had spent the night on video with Eloise and Sweety and was now refreshed.

In the morning, Hector wakes up on his own initiative without waiting to be shouted at and carries his little school bag downstairs.

After eating breakfast and shouting at Hector in mid-air, he dutifully followed the driver to school.

"This is the first time that a young prince has been so active in going to school, the sun is coming out of the west."

The butler looked at Solomon's back as he bounced away, rubbing his old eyes incredulously, thinking he was hallucinating.

Normally, Solomon would not get out of bed for more than 30 minutes, and would not go to school unless he was pouting and rolling around.

He was like a demon, no one could persuade him, so over time, everyone just let him be.

So often when you get up, it's so close to class time that you can't have a good breakfast and run off with a bite of bread.

Today was extraordinarily perverse and one could not help but feel that it was very perverse.

There was no hint of confusion on Hector's face, though, and his thin lips curved upwards in an arc, so he could probably guess what it was because of. Solomon the boy sometimes has a temper and even his words don't work.

But he listens to his mummy's words, and he follows them to the letter as if they were holy orders.

I think Eloise must have said something casually on the phone last night and the little guy remembered it, shaking his head in amusement.

The thought of Eloise tinged Hector's eyes with a little starburst.

It wasn't long before he too moved off to the office.

In the afternoon, sunlight poured in through the gaps in the blinds and fell slowly on Hector's bony fingers.

Bathed in the golden light, Hector's thin lips were pursed.

His fine black hair sways gently in the breeze and his face is handsome as he focuses on his papers with his eyes downcast.

Inside the office, the only sound is the rustling of the pen against the rice paper.

At that moment the phone on the table vibrated and dinged, the text message alert breaking the afternoon silence.

Hector set aside his pen, rubbed his brow, picked up his phone and tapped on the text message that had just come through.

It was a message from Solomon's class teacher.

"Mr Hector, I have some good news for you. Solomon has been fantastic in school today and has been very attentive in class. I hope you can praise him at home and tell him to keep up the good work. ..." From this text message, Hector could vaguely imagine his teacher's excitement when he sent it.

The usual Daemon turns so well behaved that there is a sense of unearned trepidation along with the shock.

He couldn't help but lose his smile for a moment and replied in passing that he would.

A feeling of relief rises up in the heart.

Anyway, the Solomon kid looks like he's got the gas to fight.

He's been extra obedient lately because of Eloise.

In the evening, Solomon returned from school.

Hector had also left work early and Solomon saw Hector in the living room as soon as he entered.

The first reaction was to freak out and turn around to run.

On second thought, thinking that he hadn't done anything wrong at school, he rubbed his neck and walked over. Turning to Hector, he said, "Daddy, why are you home so early today?"

In the past, in such scenarios, Daddy had arrived home before him because he had been in trouble at school. Waiting at home to teach him a lesson ...

Hector didn't answer Solomon's words, and Solomon's face suddenly disappeared in a smile and he swallowed. Another nagging question, "Did I do something wrong again?"

Hector lifted his eyes and shook his head gently, "No, come and sit down."

He patted the spot next to him with a little smirk on his face.

Seeing this, Solomon just dropped his heart and went over and sat down.

Stroking Solomon's hair, Hector softened his voice and said, "Your teacher said you were very good today."

Solomon sniffed and recoiled in embarrassment, "It's not really anything."

Hector laughed, "Not doing anything is thank goodness for your teachers."

Solomon glared, hearing a sense of being undermined, and grimaced in displeasure.

Hector turned the tables and enquired, "Is it because of Mummy? You've been so well behaved lately."

Solomon's eyes changed slightly, and after a moment, he nodded heavily.

He stammered his lips and whispered, "Mummy likes good boys, so Solomon is not allowed to be naughty."

The tone of voice reveals a shallow fear of being abandoned by Eloise, and is so well-behaved it hurts.

Hector's heart stuttered slightly and he held Solomon's hand in his heartfelt grip.

In a deep voice he said, "Mummy will love you no matter what you look like, Daddy promises you that Daddy and Mummy will always love you. So let's be patient shall we, Mummy will be back." "Good."

Solomon's eyes were slightly red as he nodded and nestled into Hector's arms.

A panicked heart replaces harbour and gradually settles down.

Father and son sat down for a rare talk, their gentle voices drifting across the evening breeze.

The worries in my heart are soothed and the old wounds seem to be healing a little ...

At night, after Hector had put Solomon to bed, Thomas came knocking on the door.

Earlier he had asked Thomas to look into Rowson's background and this would have worked out.

"Prince, we found out that this Rowson's father, is a small and famous French wine merchant."

Thomas said as he placed the photographs he had collected of the estate in front of Ken Feng.

"Madame also now works at Rowson's father's winery, helping to run it, and is often seen at their family's vineyard."

Thomas handed over photos of Eloise out in the vineyard as well.

Hector looked at Eloise's figure in the photo and the knot in his throat twitched slightly.

Thin, cool fingers twist the corner of the photograph with a slight pressure.

"The winery."

His thin lips were slightly parted as he carefully deliberated something.

After a few moments, a light builds up under his eyes.

He looked up at Thomas, pointed his finger at the winery run by Mr. Darlington Sr and ordered in a deep voice, "Have our men approach them. Negotiate a wine sales cooperation project, instruct the other party to comply with any requests, and make sure to facilitate the cooperation." Thomas sniffed and was stunned for a small moment.

But immediately reacted to what Hector was up to.

He wanted to use the group to get inside the Darlington family first, so that he could get closer to Eloise later, which was logical and legal. "Yes, I'll arrange that right away."

Thomas was not the least bit slow and immediately nodded his head in response.

Looking at the vast river of stars lit up in the eyes of his own president, his heart was filled with emotions.

It was as if the spirited man he knew had returned.

That natural arrogance cannot be imitated by others.

Hector is a natural born king who is determined to take everything in his stride.

No one or thing that he sets his sights on escapes.
