Chapter 611: Uninvited

"Yeah, we did the test today and Solomon came in first oh that's why I was given an early release from school." Solomon said holding out the test paper, showing it off as if it were.

Eloise looked at the score above and rubbed Solomon's hair and complimented, "Solomon is really good!" That's when Hector spoke up, "Eloise, do you have time tonight?"

"It's not clear yet, the company is still a bit busy with things."

At these words, Eloise looked at Hector with a suspicious look on her face, wondering what he was selling.

"Rupert and Aisly are going back in a couple of days and I'm going to have a farewell party for them, plus it's Solomon's birthday.

So in the evening I'd like to throw a family party for Solomon, it's the first time I've celebrated Solomon's birthday abroad, and I hope you can be there then."

"Yes, Mummy, you haven't had a birthday with Solomon for years and if Mummy could be there today then I would be so happy."

Solomon also said helpfully at this point, looking at Eloise with an expectant expression.

His eyes were bright and hopeful.

Eloise couldn't bear to watch the brightness die in his eyes, so she nodded her head yes.

Seeing Eloise's agreement, Solomon jumped right up and down with excitement.

And under his breath, he kept saying, "Mommy is finally spending my birthday with me!"

Seeing how happy the little one was, Eloise's emotions were also moved.

Hector also took the opportunity to say, "Bring Sweety over tonight and think of it as a celebration for Solomon."

With those words, Hector passed Solomon a look.

Receiving Hector's cue, Solomon blinked and took Eloise's hand, saying pitifully, "Mummy, please."

"All right."

Eloise couldn't help but feel a little helpless, she was still really being eaten up by Solomon at the moment.

She simply could not refuse any of Solomon's requests.

Another word with Solomon before Eloise left from the JS Group.

Thinking that she had almost finished her business at the office for the day, Eloise returned home early, not realising that Rowson was also at home. Because of what happened last night, the atmosphere between the two became more and more awkward.

Sweety did play well with Rowson though.

Eloise walked up behind Sweety, took her in her arms and said, "It's my brother's birthday tonight so there's a party, are you going to go to it?"

It's not clear whether Eloise is saying this to Sweety or to Rowson.

But Sweety became immediately excited when she heard it was to go to Solomon and clapped her hands, "Wow, really! Then Sweety is going! Mummy's going to dress Sweety up." Eloise nodded and then carried Sweety upstairs.

Rowson, who was watching the two of them with delight, felt a little uncomfortable.

After sitting downstairs for a while, Rowson felt he couldn't let the pair go to see Hector and his son in private, or there was no telling what the man might do.

Then there was a knock on the door of Sweety's room, and Eloise came out of it, looking at Rowson with searching eyes.

Rowson coughed lightly and then said, "I'll go with you tonight, so I can protect you from anything."

Seeing Rowson's somewhat embarrassed look, Eloise knew that he was drunk and did not refuse.

In the evening, the trio appeared at the Rogers family's villa.

Solomon saw Eloise's group from a distance and trotted over to meet them.

"Mummy, Sweety, you're here."

Looking at Eloise with Rowson standing beside her, Solomon couldn't help but frown, but greeted Rowson politely.

Rowson responded indifferently.

Sweety saw Solomon and ran away straight away, pulling Solomon's hand.

At this point, Hector came from a distance.

After glancing at Eloise's side, he said politely, "Mr. Rowson has come uninvited, it is Ken who has missed out on welcoming you."

The irony of the words was strong and Rowson disliked them back, "Someone is thinking of my wife, so of course I have to have protection on hand."

The two men stared at each other with a tendency to fight.

When rivals meet, they see each other in a different light.

The smell of smoke in the air was strong and Eloise was a little helpless.

Ignoring the pair, Eloise went to help out with Aisly.

Sweety kept up with Solomon and was clingy as hell.

Solomon took Sweety to the dessert room, which had a large cake with Solomon's doll style on it.

Sweety thought it was a novelty when she saw it.

Sneakily, they gave a small piece to sneak out before the duo came out of it.

The setting sun shines on the pool and the sparkling water reflects the reflections of several people.

It was slowly getting dark when Hector wheeled out the car with the cake.

Seeing this, Rupert suggested, "Solomon come over here and make a wish."

"I want Mummy and Sweety to make a wish with me."

With that said, Solomon went over and took Eloise and Sweety's hands in his.

Two more birthday hats were made for the pair to put on.

After making a wish, several people blew out the candles together.

Solomon happily handed out the cake to the others, Sweety keeping watch over Solomon, her eyes fixed straight on the little man on top.

How could Solomon not know what Sweety was thinking and after dividing the cake for everyone, took the little doll down and handed it to Sweety. Having gotten the gift of his choice, Sweety barks a kiss on Solomon's cheek.

The others set about preparing things for the barbecue, with Rupert and Aisly in charge of the skewers.

And the other two men kept hating each other in a childish way.

After Rupert had grilled the kebabs, the pair handed them to Eloise at the same time.

Both of their eyes were burning into Eloise, making it difficult to know whose to take over.

So much so that no one's was touched and Eloise went to Rupert's to get a bunch for herself.

After getting the barbecue done, Rupert looked at the trio and saw that the situation wasn't quite right, so he pulled Rowson aside.

"Mr. Rowson, I have heard that you are a leader in the medical field, I am also planning to invest in a research institute recently, I wonder if you can have a good suggestion?"

At this point Rowson didn't care what Rupert was saying, his mind was on the two men across the table and he replied vaguely, "Just do it if you like."

At these words Rowson was about to walk back, but was unexpectedly dragged back by Rupert.

Rowson was annoyed by pulling him into talking about something or other.

But being in the Rogers family, he didn't dare to lose his temper and had to reply to Rupert's words in a rambling manner.

Instead, his eyes stayed on Eloise, as if Eloise would be eaten by Hector if he left.

Everyone had their own thoughts and smoke filled the air between the adults.

And with the little girl and Solomon having a great time, the atmosphere at this end was most relaxed.

Aisly also enjoys watching her two children.
