Love Comes To Me
Chapter 627: No need for you to care

Rowson's heart lurched, but his face still squeezed out a gentle smile.

Patting Eloise on the shoulder, she said, "We're family now, why are you being polite to me? I miss Sweety too, so I should go with you and, well, thank Mr Hector." Though he was holding back, he couldn't resist biting off a puff of air at the words thank you.

Eloise gave a helpless sigh and softly responded, "Okay."

The two walked side by side to the car park and Eloise was just about to drive, keys in hand, when Rowson had taken them extremely naturally. "You've been tired these past few days, so you should rest for now."

Eloise nodded, but did not refuse.

Obediently, he settled into the passenger seat and squinted shallowly for a while.

The sunlight on the road was not blinding, but her mood was like the ice in a glass of Coke, always up and down and not so calm.

The two of them talk nothing the whole way, letting the lively sound of the car's music waft through the small car.

Half an hour later, the pair arrived at their destination.

When Eloise got off the bus, she felt a little dizzy from not being able to stand still.

Rowson gave her a worried look and she just smiled and waved her hand, "It doesn't matter, let's go and pick Sweety up." After the two men knocked on the door, the butler guided the men inside.

But the butler was also wise enough to see the man beside Eloise and deliberately guided them left and right for a while. Rowson's brow furrowed in disbelief, and it was then that the butler's footsteps came to a halt in front of a door.

Open it up and it turns out to be a steaming indoor swimming pool, or perhaps a spa would be more appropriate.

The pool is a rectangle, extensively repaired, but not deep.

Sweety changed into a little purple swan dress that still looked waterproof and giggled as she flopped in the water.

Solomon wasn't able to go into the water due to his leg injury, but just played on the other side of the pool, concentrating on squeezing the little yellow duck. There was no sign of Hector at the scene, but there were also two caretaker maids.

The little yellow duck swung over surreptitiously and Sweety grabbed it and threw it to Solomon and went back to patting the balloons on the water. Eloise couldn't help but smile a tired but sweet smile at the sight of the child and half crouched down to clap her hands to Sweety.

As we were about to speak, there was a push on the door.

Hector was seen walking over in a housecoat, his cotton shirt pulled up to his elbows, a solid crystal watch on his wrist, and carrying a tray.

Eloise scanned it and it was nothing more than some chocolate cake, and fruit puree or something like that.

Sweety exclaimed excitedly when she saw him, "Daddy, Mommy's here to play with us!"

Hector smiled and threw the toy that had rolled to the edge of the pool at Sweety.

Sweety's name for Hector sounded like a pin in Rowson's ears.

He coughed, forcing a break in the gentle, family-like atmosphere, and said politely, "Thank you for looking after Sweety."

Hector's hand on the tray was held as if he had only just seen him, and a provocative smile curved at the corners of his mouth.

"How can you say thank you when Sweety is my daughter and it should be 'no thanks to you'?"

His words were sheepish and Rowson frowned a little.

If it wasn't for the fact that a gentleman doesn't make a move, I would have punched that damned face into the water.

Perhaps a little grumpy, Rowson felt a little hot in here and couldn't resist loosening a button.

I hope that Mr Hector is not so unhinged that he has become an uncontrollable and indiscriminate identifier."

Hector smiled instead of being angry and handed the tray to the maid.

Without raising an eyebrow, he said slowly, "Get it straight, this is my house, and as for whose child Sweety is, some people know it by heart, and if they really like to fool themselves, I don't mind being the one to ring the bell until you come to your senses."

On the side, Solomon saw the apple puree salad he liked and scooped up a big spoonful first.

Turning to her sister again, she asked if she wanted some, and Sweety immediately dangled her head. Although the adults were at war, the children were not aware of it and were just having fun. Hector paused for a moment and lowered his head provocatively.

Thinking he wanted a bite of apple puree too, Sweety scooped up a spoon and fed him a mouthful.

Rowson choked for a moment, a little annoyed, but he held his tongue and did not show it.

With a smile in the corner of his eye, Hector continued to add fuel to the fire, "Sweety, is my child with Eloise, do you, as a doctor, have to see the paternity report before you want to believe it?" Enraged by Hector's comment, Rowson clenched his fists.

Seeing that a big fight was about to be triggered, alarm bells went off in Eloise's mind and she hurriedly pulled the man to a halt and advised, "Well, we're here to pick Sweety up and take her home today."

It took Eloise saying this for Rowson to calm down.

Barely suppressing his anger, he squeezed out a smile and held out his hand to Sweety.

"Sweety, go home with Daddy."

Sweety, holding her bowl, a little confused, looked to Hector and asked, "Daddy, am I going to have to leave here?"

With his daughter, Hector has a gentle approach.

He bent down and gave her a kiss on her right cheek and said softly, "Because right now Mommy misses you so much that she has to take you back to live with her for a while, if you're good, Daddy will come to see you when he has time, okay?"

Sweety's eyes rolled at the words, at this point her young mind could not understand why her favourite daddy and mummy, could not live together.

But looking to the side Rowson still kept his hand outstretched and his eyes seemed a little hurt.

Thinking that Rowson was also her daddy, Sweety hesitated for a long time before finally extending her little hand.

Seeing this Rowson carried her out of the sink and Eloise took a towel and dried the water from her body.

Sweety glanced in Solomon's direction and exclaimed, "Brother, I'm off, come and play with you sometime." Solomon is much older than her and naturally knows a lot.

There is also an ignorant understanding of the mess that the adults make.

But it was still a little sad to see my beloved sister leaving.

Walking up to Sweety, he fished a small swan pendant out of his wet trouser pocket.

Condescendingly, she said, "Sister, this is something you like, I'm giving it to you, come back and play with me later."

Sweety nodded vigorously and broke straight out of Rowson's embrace.

The two children hugged for a while before parting reluctantly.

Rowson's heart was a little heavy at the sight of their inseparable appearance.
