Love Comes To Me
Chapter 633: No need for Mr Hector to bother

The man sighed heavily, his voice low and slightly helpless.

"You should not work too hard, if you want to take care of the patients then you have to take care of yourself first, otherwise you will wear yourself out first." Eloise stared at the ground as if she were a child who had done something wrong.

Hector thought about it and suggested, "Let Sweety stay at my house for a while, she's still young and it's not good for her to stay in hospital all day." Take Sweety away and at least Eloise won't have to work so hard.

Eloise lifted her eyes to Hector's genuine gaze and her heart swayed.

"No need for Mr Hector to bother!"

A familiar voice suddenly came from behind.

Eloise turned around and bumped into Rowson's sombre face.

He had come out from inside the ward and had listened to all the conversation they had just had about once.

After a moment, he placed his hands on Eloise's shoulders, forming a protective circle of sorts.

With hostility he said to Hector, "You just need to mind your son, and as for Eloise and Sweety, it's none of your business."

The moment the two men locked eyes was filled with a strong smell of gunpowder.

Hector's face sank slightly and an air of displeasure radiated from his body.

Eloise hastily stepped between them, thought for a moment and said to Hector, "Thank you for your kindness, on second thought, I think Sweety should be in my care, the little girl is a bit rowdy." The rejection in the words is clear enough.

Hector sniffed, and said nothing, the hostility in his eyes dispersing and overlaid with more complex emotions.

In this scenario, he really had little to say, even knowing that Sweety was his daughter.

A bitter taste rose in my throat.

At the end, his thin, pursed lips parted slightly, he said goodbye to Eloise and left with Solomon in tow.

Rowson's face eased as he watched the Rogers family, father and son, walk away.

Eloise gauged Rowson's expression and explained, "I met with him because I wanted to thank him for looking after Sweety for me those days, and you know how those days are."

Rowson's face was calm and he didn't want to ask any questions, but he said, "Right, you and Sweety should go home and rest for the next two days. I don't think you're in very good shape either, so don't wear yourself out. Eloise looked up, wanting to say she could, but looked into Rowson's determined gaze and said nothing more.

"I'll come back in a few days for another shift then."

Seeing the weariness in her brow, Rowson was distressed.

Removing the clothes from his body, he said softly, "I'll have the driver take you back."

"Hmm."

Eloise nodded and walked outside with Sweety in her arms.

The cold moonlight reflects the two men parting, one turning away, the other pausing to watch.

The space separating the two carries a sense of detachment and growing distance...

Back at the Darlington family, the tiredness was heavier on Eloise.

After a little washing up with Sweety, he dragged his heavy body to bed to rest.

As I slept, a cold sweat broke out on my forehead and my whole body felt as if it was falling all the time, making it uncomfortable.

The next morning Sweety was awakened by the sound of Eloise's painful sobbing.

The pale white light scattered in, and Eloise's forehead was covered with beads of sweat, large and small, setting off a paler face.

She closed her eyes tightly, as if she had dreamt something horrible.

Dry lips stammered in painful murmurs. murmured, "No, don't come over ..."

The little girl blinked in confusion when she saw Eloise's face.

"Mummy?"

Sweety called out tentatively, Eloise didn't answer, her eyes squeezed shut.

Eloise's body was shaken, but she still didn't wake up from her slumber.

Sweety couldn't help but panic a little as she crawled over and got close to Eloise's face.

The moment it touched Eloise's skin, the little girl went wow.

Eloise's body was rolling and her face was flushed and she looked in great pain.

The little girl was frightened and overwhelmed, shaking Eloise's arm in anxiety.

"Mummy, Mummy what's wrong with you? Sweety is afraid ..."

But no matter how much Sweety shook Eloise, Eloise's eyes remained tightly closed.

When she couldn't wake Eloise up, the little girl was so anxious that tears fell from her eyes.

She ran out to call Rowson to come and have a look and ran around but found no one.

Both Rowson and Mr. Darlington Sr. are staying in the hospital, which would leave the Darlington family alone.

The little girl was so confused that she ran back to her room and cried out.

Eloise, in a daze, heard the sound of her little girl crying and struggling to wake up from the chaos.

The slightest movement of her fingertips felt like a struggle, and she realised she was ill.

Barely opening her eyes and seeing Sweety's snotty crying face, she moved her lips and shouted, "Sweety ..."

It was as if my throat had been burned and it hurt to shout.

The voice is even raspy with stone gravel.

The little girl was crying so happily that she didn't notice for a moment that Eloise was awake.

Eloise sighed and looked towards the bedside table with misty eyes and twitched her fingers.

She moved laboriously towards her phone, trying to call Rowson.

I just touched the phone, but it rolled off at once because I didn't have much strength in my hands.

The noise startled a bawling Sweety, who looked up to see Eloise awake and immediately crawled over to her.

The little face scrunched up and sobbed, "Mummy ... Mummy you're awake."

With her tiny body pressed against her, Eloise fought back a headache and instructed Sweety to pick up the phone and give it to her. "Well, Sweety ... phone to help Mummy..."

The little girl was resourceful and quickly climbed out of bed, picked up Eloise's phone and handed it over in a panic.

Eloise dragged the little girl's hand and struggled to open her eyes and unlock the phone screen.

Clicking on the contacts section, I dialed a series of numbers in a daze.

After dialing, the arm drops weakly and the phone is tossed aside.

The eyelids are half-closed, half-open and the headache is splitting.

She meant to call Rowson and ask him to come back, but who knows, it went to Hector instead.

Hector, still a little surprised to receive a call from Eloise, softened his voice and asked, "Hello? Eloise, what's up?"

But there was no voice on the other end to answer for a moment, and he narrowed his eyes in confusion.

In a few moments, Sweety's howling cries came from over there.

"Mummy, Mummy don't fall asleep, Sweety is scared."

Hector's heart hung in his throat and his face suddenly changed as he asked sharply, "Sweety, what's wrong with your mommy?"

The little girl on the other end just cried and couldn't answer, and Hector listened in frustration.

Eloise's eardrums ached from the little girl's howling.

She turned laboriously to the phone and said painfully, "Rowson ... can you come home, I'm sick..."

Hector sniffed, and the man who had been standing in his office suddenly ran out as if in a panic, pulling his legs out.
