Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 635: What are you laughing at?
After being discharged from the hospital, Hector took the person back home.
Marian was at the door of the Rogers family yesterday when she heard that Hector had left the office with a face full of urgency. She had thought that something had happened to Solomon, but Solomon had returned home on time last night.
At this point the whole thing came to a head when he saw the person in Hector's arms.
No matter what time of year it is, Eloise comes first in Hector's heart.
The worry and pain in Hector's eyes was obvious to Marian.
Jealousy, resentment and resentment inevitably crept into the mind.
Despite the years that have passed, she has lost to this woman.
Eloise was half asleep when a small sound rang in her ears and the sensation of wetness coming from her neck woke her up.
She opened her eyes and looked around in a daze.
Hector is wringing out a wet towel as the water drops fall back into the basin in a fine ripple.
Seeing Eloise's eyes open, he blushed and set the towel aside.
God looked tenderly at Eloise, "You're awake."
He then gently placed his hand on Eloise's forehead and found that it was not as hot as it had just been, and his heart dropped a little. Eloise opened her dry lips and tried to speak but couldn't.
My throat was so dry and thirsty that it was like walking in the desert for a long time with gravel in my throat.
She grimaced in pain.
"Want some water?"
With one expression, Hector had risen with understanding.
Turning to get a glass of warm water, she then lifted Eloise and handed it to her mouth.
Holding the rim of the glass, Eloise gulped down water with a feeling of coming to life.
A quick glance around revealed an unfamiliar room.
The pale yellow window screen is floated by the breeze and the turquoise blue grille is very welcoming to look at. But it's a style of decoration that she really likes.
"Where am I?"
Eloise mumbled her lips and a hoarse voice came out.
But as Hector listened, it sounded heavenly.
"My house, you're sick, and I answered the phone this morning." Hector said succinctly.
Eloise was sipping her water and sniffed, choking a little.
I never thought I would call Hector by mistake.
Rubbing his neck, he coughed so hard his face turned red.
Abruptly remembering something, she looked sharply at Hector and asked, "What about Sweety?"
Hector patted her back gently and responded, "Don't worry, she's out there staying with Solomon." Eloise eased her mind at this point.
"Lie down and rest some more, you are still very weak."
With those words, Hector tucked the covers in without a word.
Eloise, however, shook her head, knowing full well that this was Hector's bedroom, his bedchamber.
It doesn't make sense for her to stay... like this.
After a moment's thought, Eloise lifted the grey quilt that covered her body with a slight movement of her fingertips. "I'd better take Sweety back, thank you for today."
With that, he struggled to get out of bed.
Hector's brow knitted into a straight line.
He pressed Eloise's arm directly, his inky black pupils flooding with a strong hue.
"Just stay here, you're not well yet and there's no one to look after you back there."
Eloise went mute for a moment at Hector's words.
Indeed, it is clearly not wise to go back to the Darlington family now.
Rowson and Mr. Darlington Sr are both at the hospital guarding Mrs Darlington, who is available to look after her?
But it's still hard to feel bad when Hector says it like that.
She tugged at the corner of the quilt and whispered somewhat gamely, "That's my business."
A stubborn expression appeared on her pretty face and she said she was about to get out of bed.
Just as her toes hit the ground, though, her body fell backwards towards the floor.
In a panic, Eloise's hand subconsciously grabbed the shirt on the front of Hector's chest.
Without surprise, it fell into a solid embrace.
The muscles can be felt through the thin layer of clothing.
A tingling sensation came from a pair of hot hands that seemed to graze her waistline as they encircled her waist. The cool, manly scent hits the nose.
Eloise's heart beat like a drum at once, and for a moment she couldn't tell if it was hers or Hector's.
"Are you leaving, or throwing yourself at me?"
The corners of Hector's mouth curved slightly, his warm breath cutting across his ear, and Eloise's cheeks flushed. The duo acted as if she had jumped raw into Hector's arms.
She tried to back away sharply, but Hector wouldn't let go and she was pulled back at once.
In a panic, his lips accidentally touched Hector's chin.
Eloise couldn't help but shy away a little, wiped her bottom lip and raised her voice, "You! You let go of me."
This action pierced Hector's heart deeply.
How much does she dislike him...
"Are you that afraid of me?"
A magnetic voice rang out overhead, though the tone contained more helplessness and a hint of manic depression.
In the next second, the hand around her waist loosened.
Eloise scowled.
When she looked up and saw the hurt in Hector's eyes, she panicked.
It's not that she hates him or is afraid of him ...
Hector laughed bitterly and said, "I won't do anything to you."
"I'm not worried about that."
Eloise explained sharply, her expression tense.
She hadn't really worried that Hector would do anything bad to her.
Of this she was inexplicably certain.
Hector thought it was cute to see how nervous she looked.
Every little expression on her face was so appealing that the curve of her mouth couldn't help but increase.
Looking at Hector's smiling face, Eloise asked in wonder, "What are you smiling about?"
"It's nothing, I'll go and call the children in."
Gathering a raucous laugh, Hector rubbed the top of Eloise's head.
In a good mood, he walked out and called Solomon and Sweety in.
Solomon and Sweety looked delighted to know that Eloise had woken up.
Gathered around the bed, chattering and talking to Eloise.
Solomon seemed very excited to know that Eloise and Sweety would be staying at the house for two days.
Always hanging around her and shushing her.
Hector has also put off work to stay at home with the three of them.
Inside the room, the sound of the four men talking fades away and the atmosphere is cosy.
By the end of the night, Eloise's fever was almost gone.
Her body was sticky and she and Hector complained, "It's so hard not being able to shower with a cold."
Who knew that Hector would go and ask the doctor the next minute, who said that although he was weak, he would be fine as long as he didn't take a shower.
Hector immediately went to the bathroom and put hot water in the bath.
Once everything was done, Hector carried Eloise whole into the bathroom.
Eloise resisted throughout the process, but it was no more than a tickle for Hector.
In the end Eloise just didn't bother to resist and let him be.
It wasn't as if this man's behaviour was something she could refuse anyway.
