Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 640: She's Getting Married
The next day, Eloise came to pick up Sweety from the Rogers family.
Sweety was having a good time with Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch when she arrived.
The little girl sat in Mrs Matriarch's arms, her mouth giggling as she ate the grapes Mr Fletcher fed her.
Eloise looks at it for a moment, smiles and walks over to it.
"Sweety, Mummy's here to take you home."
Sweety slid off Mrs Matriarch's knee and into Eloise's arms, calling out happily, "Mummy, Sweety missed you so much!"
Eloise stroked her head and thanked Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch again and again.
"I really appreciate you looking after Sweety, thank you."
Mr Fletcher, Mrs Matriarch looked at their daughter-in-law's face with a mixed feeling and waved their hands, "It's fine, it's fine, Sweety is very well behaved and we love her." Love hates not being able to keep her and stay with her forever.
Hector took the opportunity to say from the side, "It's almost lunchtime too, why don't you stay and have a meal?"
There was a longing in his voice that he didn't even realise was there, and his dark eyes were fixed on Eloise with a look of infatuation and love that almost spilled out of them. Mrs Matriarch chimed in immediately, "Yes, yes, I'll order the kitchen to make some of Sweety's favourite dishes."
"Auntie, don't bother."
Eloise called out to Mrs Matriarch and smiled lightly, "There are things to do at home, so I'll skip dinner, I'll take Sweety home now."
The Rogers family were disappointed to hear this, and Solomon was deflated, with tears in his eyes.
At this point Eloise's heart wasn't good either, but she knew it was inevitable.
It was a nice family, it was just that, she wasn't meant to be with them.
At the end of the day, Sweety and the Rogers family said their goodbyes.
Hector walked Eloise out with Solomon in his hand and said warmly, "Sweety and Solomon play well together, when you have time, bring Sweety over for dinner."
I can't help but feel a little saddened after saying that he now has to be so roundabout to even have a meal with her.
Eloise didn't say yes, just gave an ambiguous answer.
"Say more."
Once outside, Hector had a lot more to say to Eloise.
But before he could say anything else, Eloise was already in the car, taking Sweety inside.
He took two steps forward and looked greedily at the side of Eloise's face, who looked back just in time for the two eyes to collide.
Eloise's eyes flickered for a moment, but did not move away.
Their eyes met for a full five seconds before Eloise turned her head and instructed the driver to drive.
Hector subconsciously took a step forward and opened his mouth to say, "Eloise ..."
But as soon as the words left my mouth, the car quickly drove past in front of me.
Eloise's beautiful side face flashed by and Hector suddenly felt his heart empty. Somehow, Eloise's back looked so determined this time.
Hector couldn't help but feel a little flustered.
"Mummy and sister are gone again." Solomon's voice rang in his ears. A murmured voice.
Hector gripped Solomon's hand firmly, his voice firm, "We'll see each other again before too long."
But for a week after this separation, they hadn't heard from Eloise or Sweety, let alone met. Hector sent a message, but it went down like a stone.
Solomon called and again there was no answer.
They suddenly lost all contact with each other.
"Why isn't Mummy answering her phone."
Solomon gripped his phone, loss written all over his face.
How could Hector be any different?
He stared at the screen, but all he could see was the message he had sent, and there was no word from the other end.
Hector's dark eyes narrowed suddenly as he saw Eloise's figure leaving that day.
When he arrived at the office, he immediately called Thomas over and ordered in a deep voice, "I'm going to work with the Darlington Group on a new project, go to Fu's and replace out their intentions." Thomas felt like he understood something when he heard about the Darlington Group.
"Yes, President."
After the people left, Hector stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window with one hand in his trouser pocket.
The eyes stare into the distance, a myriad of complex emotions tumbling in them, before finally returning to blackness.
But Thomas came back with some very bad news.
"Prince, the Grand Prince of the Darlington Group is getting married!"
At the words, Thomas saw Hector's face change dramatically and he couldn't help but scowl.
Hector's voice trailed off as he clenched his palms.
"Who is the bride and is the information reliable?"
Thomas flinched and said stiffly, "It says it's Miss Eloise, that's what's been going around the Darlington Group, can't be wrong." "How did Rowson do?"
A cool voice came out as Thomas gave a full account of
"Mr. Rowson happens to be in the office today and he seems to be in a good mood."
Thomas recalled Rowson's performance with a spring in his step, the look of a perfectly good near, and secretly fumed for his boss.
Hector's hand rested on the armrest, curled up slightly and slowly clenched into a fist.
The bruises on the backs of the hands emerge in a hideous pose.
The temperature inside dropped a steep ten degrees.
Thomas didn't dare to breathe for fear of being caught in the crossfire.
In Hector's heart, there was a tumbling of the seas.
Eloise's determined departure had left him a little distracted and, combined with the fact that he hadn't been able to contact her in the past few days, these were actually signs. He just didn't expect it to be so soon.
The Grand Prince of the Darlington Group got married and there was no news out there, the media was quiet as a chicken.
Hector frowned and said in as calm a voice as possible, "This news, why hasn't it been announced outside?"
At this point, Thomas thought his boss was probably pissed off, and with such a dogged entanglement between them, he wouldn't have said anything if it were him.
There are some things you can't hide, but when you get married and the dust settles, it's too late to say anything.
Still, Thomas weighed in, "Maybe it's not time to announce it yet."
The words fell, and Hector's face was unreadable.
Outside the office, Marian's hands and feet trembled as she heard the two men's conversation.
Behaviour displayed as a result of extreme excitement.
She tried desperately to restrain the expression on her face and left quietly to avoid being noticed. "I'm going out, so don't call me for anything today."
Hector dryly took his jacket and got up.
It was something he had to go and make sure he understood, otherwise he would not be at ease.
Although in his heart he was evil boss to skip work again, but after all, the lady's matter is the most important, resignedly said, "Yes, you can rest assured, I will handle the company's matter for you." Hector just looked at him, didn't say anything, took his car keys and left.
Once in the car, Hector went straight to the hospital.
Although Eloise had been ignoring him, Hector knew that she was in hospital these days looking after Mrs Darlington.
The thought of what she was doing this as cut Hector's heart to the bone.
The car was so fast all the way there that Hector could not wait to teleport straight to the hospital.
