Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 647: Must get
Marian exited the office, his face instantly turning into an unmistakable scowl. Eloise, why doesn't she go to hell!
Marian breathed heavily, thinking viciously.
Since she had disappeared for three years, she should not have come back.
It was already dead, so let's just disappear again.
In the dimly lit corridor, Marian's face was as sinister and terrifying as a malevolent ghost from hell.
Resentment and jealousy caused Marian to turn completely pale, her nails digging deep into her flesh.
The expression on his face could not be overstated as a grimace.
She looked at Hector's figure in the office and her heart rose with malicious intent.
Eloise she deserved to die, no matter what it took to sort it out.
This man she must have, definitely...
Hector, however, was unaware of Marian's thoughts and simply pinched his aching brow.
Eloise when the hell are you coming back...
I looked up and saw the books by the sofa that Eloise had enjoyed at the time.
When he came over from North District, Hector brought these with him.
A brief flick through reveals the markings that Eloise had previously marked, but the woman is now a different person.
After a heavy sigh, Hector got up and left the office.
It always makes him think of the time when they worked together, and she was so charming in her seriousness.
When we arrived home, it was two o'clock in the morning and the whole estate was silent, with only the sounds of insects and birds ringing out.
Hector crept through the door, thinking to go straight to his room, but Mrs Matriarch came out just then.
She happened to be up for the night and heard the door slam and came over to check on her.
"Hector?"
At the sound of Mrs Matriarch's voice, Hector froze for a moment before he hmmed.
"Wait then, Mum will go and make you something to eat."
Before Hector could say anything, Mrs Matriarch turned around and went straight to work in the kitchen.
Within ten minutes, several hot, home-cooked dishes were presented.
Smelling the aroma of the meal, Hector's appetite was completely whetted.
These days had been so steeped in hurt that he hadn't really eaten a good meal.
Mrs Matriarch found it very gratifying to see Hector feasting on his food.
After serving Hector's bowl of food, Mrs Matriarch said, "These are your favourite dishes, eat more, you only have to eat to be strong enough to do what you want to do." Knowing what Mrs Matriarch was worried about, Hector said with relief, "Don't worry, Mum, I won't be beaten, I'm Hector."
Mrs Matriarch sniffed and smiled, a smile that came from the heart.
She was afraid that Hector would be as depressed as he was three years ago, and that was a real worry for him.
"I'm glad you said that Mom, Eloise is one of us Rogers family, way to go son!"
With that, Mrs Matriarch made a pumping gesture and Hector couldn't help but smile and do the same after Mrs Matriarch.
After another bite, Hector turned to Mrs Matriarch and said, "Mum, you go and rest, I'll be back in my room in a minute, don't worry about me."
At the words, Mrs Matriarch yawned duly and nodded away.
After a while, having finished the bowl of food, Hector went back to the bedroom.
Looking out of the window, Hector clenched his palms.
Death could not take Eloise away from him, let alone a small Darlington family.
The next day, Hector woke up early and carefully groomed himself.
Mrs Matriarch took great comfort in watching Hector walk sharply down the stairs.
"Mom, I have things to do at work, so I'll skip eating at home for now."
Hector finished and left quickly.
Mrs Matriarch was just about to call the man to a halt, but Hector had already walked away.
When Mrs Matriarch's eyes were filled with concern, Mr Fletcher said, "Well, don't make a mess of it if your son is busy now, just bring him back at lunchtime."
But all Mr Fletcher got was a blank stare from Mrs Matriarch, who said, "If you ask me, you men are desperate.
He's not flesh that fell off your body, of course you don't feel bad, but this is my son, and not eating breakfast does the most damage to your body, what do you know."
With those words, Mrs Matriarch pushed the bowl directly out of her hands and went back inside.
Faced with a sudden outburst of temper from Mrs Matriarch, Mr Fletcher could not help but feel a little innocent and puzzled, muttering aside: "This ... where have you been all this time, I didn't say I didn't care for my son... ..." Later in the evening, Mrs Matriarch came out of her room and saw Mr Fletcher on the sofa, still not looking well.
Mrs Matriarch gave Mr Fletcher a deep cut before turning to the kitchen to prepare the meal she had brought for Hector at lunchtime.
Feeling a glance from his wife, Mr Fletcher couldn't help but scowl.
Immediately afterwards, he approached Mrs Matriarch with a curt smile and said, "Is there anything I can do for you, old lady?"
"Get up and get out of the way, you'll be lucky if you don't give me a hand."
With that, he pushed Mr Fletcher away, but Mr Fletcher remained bitchily by Mrs Matriarch's side.
Who made it his wife? The wife-beater he developed over the years is not going to get better.
The two of them worked in the kitchen for a while before the meal was ready.
Immediately afterwards it was off to the JS Group.
When they arrived they heard that Hector was still in a meeting, so they waited outside.
It was another ten minutes before Hector returned to his office and was stunned to see the duo outside the door.
Bringing the pair inside the office, Hector asked, a little wearily, "Mom and Dad, what brings you here?"
Mrs Matriarch put down her lunch box and said worriedly, "Hector, I saw that you hadn't eaten breakfast, so I was afraid you were too busy to eat, so I came over to bring you some food."
After rubbing his aching temples, Hector spoke, "Mum, there's a staff restaurant just downstairs from me, I can go there and eat."
He said so, but every time he would refuse to be there.
After all, with such a handsome boss, any female employee would want to look around.
Knowing her son as well as her mother, Mrs Matriarch knew Hector well enough to know that he would never go, and urged, "These are freshly made, so eat them while they're hot."
As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Thomas pushed his way in and handed Hector the itinerary in his hand.
"President, there is a party in the evening, invited by Mr. Florentine. You didn't go to the auction when he invited you earlier, you can't afford not to go tonight."
Lest Hector disagree, Thomas hastened to spell out his reasons.
Noticing Mrs Matriarch and Mr Fletcher off to the side, Thomas nodded his head in greeting.
Looking over the itinerary, Hector spat out the words lightly, "Not interested."
Seeing his refusal, Thomas said hastily, "President, I found out that the young lady will also attend, as it is a business gathering, so ..."
