Love Comes To Me
Chapter 660: Daddy Don't Lie to Me

Rowson stood dry for a while, not really knowing what to say, got up and said goodbye and left.

Step by step, he took the hard way.

The scene behind him was so piercing that it made him feel that he was redundant.

But clearly, Eloise was about to marry herself, and if Hector hadn't refused to divorce her, they would have been married by now.

He wanted to take Eloise away just like that, but felt that it would be too mean to do so and that Eloise would not forgive him. After all, there is a life lying inside.

Eloise's red eyes came to mind, and she was genuinely worried about the boy.

Rowson's eyes flickered slightly, pushing down the resentment and worry that rolled underneath them.

He stayed outside for a while longer, waiting for his mood to calm down before returning to the ward.

She was in a good mood and didn't show her face in front of Mrs Darlington, but her heart was already in turmoil.

...

Five hours later, the operating theatre doors opened.

The nurse pushed Solomon out, his face pale and his eyes tightly closed, so tiny on a portable bed, it was heartbreaking to watch. Eloise's eyes were red and she couldn't take her eyes off Solomon.

Even Hector's heart couldn't help but pump hard.

He asked the doctor in a hushed voice, "Doctor, how is Solomon?"

"Thanks to the timely delivery, the person was rescued and the operation was a success." The doctor's words were like music from heaven. Hector's lifted heart finally dropped.

The doctor then added, "There were also good people who donated blood in time, otherwise there was nothing that could be done." Hector gave Eloise a look that was more than grateful.

Solomon was wheeled into the ICU care unit and he will have to be observed for a while until he is out of danger before he can be transferred to a general ward. No one was allowed in the custody room and they could only look out of the window.

Sweety peered in through the window, looking at all the tubes on Solomon's body, and tears fell from her eyes and she sobbed out loud.

Neither of the two adults could understand why the little one suddenly burst into tears.

"Sweety, what's wrong with you?" Eloise asked warmly, a big stone dropped from her heart as Solomon's surgery was successful.

But I don't know how the little girl suddenly changed her mood.

"Brother, more tubes, it hurts." Sweety wiped tears from her eyes.

Solomon is still unconscious and he is unaware of the pain, but Sweety's words, spoken by both of them, tug at their hearts.

Yes, how painful it should be with all those tubes.

"Brother doesn't hurt, he's still asleep." Eloise coaxed.

"So when will brother wake up to play with me."

Sweety found the hospital bed so annoying that she couldn't keep her brother's eyes open.

Hector said in a hushed voice, "Soon."

"Great." Sweety clapped her hands, her little face happy.

A mobile phone rang abruptly and it was Thomas calling. "What is it?"

Hector's voice was a little more intimidating than usual.

Thomas couldn't help but swallow a mouthful of saliva, settled down and returned, "President, the driver who caused the accident was caught." Upon hearing the news, a flash of hostility flew across Hector's brow.

"Watch the men, and make sure you give me severe punishment."

Whether the big car did it on purpose or not, since it disobeyed the rules of the road and hit the little prince of Rogers family, it's his bad luck! Thomas' solemn face.

"Yes, President."

Eloise, who was listening to the conversation from the sidelines, could not imagine what would have happened to Solomon if the driver had reacted more slowly and the big car had run over him. I'm sure the Rogers family is in mourning at the moment.

Why in heaven's name are there always people who do not obey the rules of the road? What about the cost of other people's lives.

Eloise hates these people who ignore the rules.

After instructing Thomas, Hector turned back to him.

But there was some concern in his mind that he had not just been too hostile.

Eloise's heart had been on edge, but now she relaxed, her eyes went black and her legs were too weak to stand.

Seeing that she didn't look right, Hector immediately said, "Eloise, what's wrong with you?"

"Well, a little dizzy." Eloise was pale.

Hector helped her to sit down on the plastic chair without saying a word, and was shocked when he accidentally touched Eloise's hand and realised how cold it was.

With all that ice, how weak must the body be.

"Sit still, I'll get a ward, you should be resting."

Hector finished and then said to Sweety, "You stay with Mummy."

"Okay, Daddy, I'll be good."

Soon Hector asked for a new room and left Eloise to rest in her bed.

Sweety has been so good today that even her speech has become a whisper.

She didn't know why, first Grandma was sick, then her brother, then Mummy was sick, and Daddy looked so ugly and ugly too.

What on earth had struck them?

But Mummy said it was because her brother was very ill, so Daddy was in a bad mood.

The little girl then ran to Hector and nestled into his arms, wrapping her arms around Hector's neck and saying softly, "Daddy, Sweety's here."

"Sweety be good." Hector patted her little head gently.

Sweety hugged one of his arms in a good manner and said in a milky voice, "Daddy, don't be afraid, Sweety is with you, and when my brother wakes up, my brother will be with you too." Hector's mood has been at rock bottom ever since he found out about Solomon's accident.

But hearing Sweety's words, the frown unexpectedly relaxed a little.

"Sweety's such a good girl." Hector rubbed her little forehead.

Happy to see Daddy in a better mood, Sweety whispered, "Is Mummy asleep?"

Eloise's eyes were closed on the bed, as if she had fallen asleep, and she did not respond to the sound of the two men talking.

Hector looked at it and then mumbled softly, "Yeah, mummy's had a long, long day, so get some rest."

Sweety nodded as if she understood, "I know being tired and worn out makes me want to sleep."

"Mmm, so Mommy wants to go to bed too."

Hector's gaze, which fell on Eloise's face, was unmistakably tender.

The little girl said in a milky voice, "I used to be very tired and tired and wanted to sleep, daddy, you were tired too and you wanted to sleep too."

Hector sniffed and shook his head, "Daddy's not tired."

Sweety's soft little hand brushed across his brow, a rare seriousness on her childish little face.

"It's very tiring, Mummy says, when the brow furrows, it's very tiring."

Hector's heart shook, this little girl, too spooky.

Now he was indeed tired, only, he didn't dare to rest or collapse, because Solomon and Eloise needed him.

Cradling the fragrant, soft little body in his arms, Hector whispered, "Daddy will go to rest when Mommy and Brother wake up."

"Okay, then daddy don't lie to me." Sweety was like a little watchdog.

Hector's heart was soft as if he had eaten in a big cloud, the kind you could knead into a ball, "Good."
