Love Comes To Me
Chapter 693: The pain is unbearable

Hector was confused when he saw that the phone had been disconnected and was already pulled when he called again. As for Rowson's mouth about the wedding stopping, and Eloise, what do these mean?

Does it mean that something has happened to Eloise?

He hesitated for a moment, but ultimately could not stand by and do nothing about the matter.

Immediately, he dialed a number and spoke, "Thomas, book me a flight back to France, the sooner the better."

Thomas, although unsure of what Hector meant by this move, responded, "Yes, President."

The president had just returned, didn't he?

But the boss does what he wants and they have no right to argue against it.

After hanging up the phone, Hector grabbed his jacket from the backrest and headed out the door to get to France as fast as he could.

As soon as I left the airport, I saw Thomas standing a short distance away waiting.

He stepped forward and got into a side car and Thomas followed.

In the car, Hector was still thinking about what Rowson had said about Eloise.

Although little is revealed, instinct tells him that something has happened to Eloise.

"What's happened to the Darlington family?"

Thomas froze, didn't the president know what had happened to the Darlington family?

"On the day of the wedding, the lady was missing, so the Darlington family had to suspend the wedding for now."

He had thought that the president already knew about this and had rushed back, so he did not inform this over the phone.

Hector's face turns sour as he listens to the call. Rowson had mistakenly thought he had kidnapped Eloise and called to warn her.

But how could he have kidnapped Eloise when he was in the country and he was only now learning of her accident?

So who actually kidnapped Eloise?

Is Eloise in danger now or not?

Despite his anxiety, Hector forced himself to calm down.

Thinking for a moment, he had a tentative plan and spoke, "Tell Hall and Marian to come quickly!"

As the words left his mouth, the car drove up to the office.

Hall was waiting outside the office and had a strange thought in his mind when he saw Hector with an eager face.

Throwing his jacket onto the seat, Hector ordered in a cold voice, "You and Marian go and check the CCTV around the hotel on the day of the wedding and use all your forces to replace out who did it!" Because of the conflict with Marian, Hall was initially tempted to refuse the mission, but this was not the time to say that.

When he came out, he dialled Marian's number.

It had been unanswered and Hall's heart couldn't help but have a bad feeling about it.

Now that we think about Eloise's abduction, the timing of Marian's disappearance is too much of a coincidence, isn't it?

I really hope she doesn't make the same mistake again and again.

Clutching the phone tightly, Hall hesitated before knocking on the office door.

"Prince, I can't reach Marian."

Hall did not dare to voice his suspicions, or he was afraid that Hector would turn his anger against her.

At this point, Hector is too preoccupied with Eloise's kidnapping to care about anything else, and is not concerned about Marian's disappearance.

"You go over there and investigate first, we'll talk about Marian afterwards, in any case, do everything you can to replace Eloise and never put her in any danger!"

Hall nodded, his face serious for a few moments, "Yes, Prince!"

This was a matter of human life and with Marian's madness, he really didn't know what she would do.

Hector was silent for a few seconds, pressed the intercom and ordered, "Now go to the Darlington family and see what's going on."

"Yes."

Hector then closed his eyes and tugged at the collar of his shirt in annoyance.

Eloise ... Where the hell have you been?

Thomas does what he is told and when it comes to Eloise, Hector is always a different person.

The car drove quickly and arrived at the Darlington family a few moments later.

As soon as he entered, he saw Rowson standing in the living room on the phone, clearly in an emotional state.

Gone is the usual gentle, jade-like look.

Hearing a rattle in the entrance hall, Rowson looked back.

A look of displeasure passed over his face as he glanced at Hector.

He clearly didn't welcome Hector's arrival and asked warily, "What are you doing here and where's Eloise?"

Seeing the question in his eyes, Hector spoke up nonchalantly, "First of all, I want to tell you that I didn't kidnap Eloise.

I knew Eloise had chosen to marry you so I decided to divorce her and quit, but as soon as I returned home Eloise disappeared, something I haven't accounted for with you. But this is not the time to talk about that, what is important is to replace Eloise, I ask you who was visible before Eloise was kidnapped?"

With these words from Hector, Rowson lapsed into silence, already believing a few things in his mind.

By the look of anxiety on his face, it was clear that this was not Hector's doing.

Rowson's prejudice and animosity towards Hector aside, Hector has always been open and honest in his dealings.

People who have been well brought up will respect the opinions of others and will have the most basic courtesy and respect.

Not like someone who would resort to such underhanded tactics.

Rowson was silent for a moment and spoke, "I apologise for my earlier behaviour."

Hector didn't care about that and said with a wave of his hand, "I just want to know who Eloise saw before her accident?" "No." Rowson replied honestly.

Having received his answer, Hector hurried out of Darlington family cottage.

At this point, the other side.

Inside a darkened chemical plant, Eloise collapses to the ground, looking somewhat downcast.

Slowly Eloise regained some consciousness and her eyelids fluttered.

The light shone through the gap into the dilapidated factory and she squinted her eyes open for a moment, unable to adjust. What you see is a dilapidated and cluttered environment with machine components, dust and rubbish everywhere.

There is also a woman crouched to one side.

Marian glanced coldly at the pale-faced Eloise and snorted.

Playing with the dagger in her hand, she taunted, "What? Miss Jiang? Awake?"

Eloise has a sore shoulder and a splitting headache.

Trying to adjust his posture, he found himself confined and unable to move.

This made her pale even more, and seeing Marian's playful smile, she opened her mouth and said, "You kidnapped me?"

Marian sniffed and shrugged, unconcerned.

"Does the obvious need to be asked?"

Eloise just thought Marian was crazy as hell now and warned her, "It's a crime, you should know that."

At the words, Marian sneered, "So what? Even if I'm sentenced to death, I'll make you miserable until then, and as long as you're not well, I'll be thrilled." Said Marian, with a bloodthirsty gleam in her eyes.

It looks very appalling.

But Eloise just can't understand why Marian would kidnap herself.

She voiced the doubts in her mind and asked, "Who are you, anyway? Why are you doing this?"

But as if Marian hadn't heard Eloise's words, she twisted her head to stare dead into Eloise's eyes. Marian's eyes are full of cynicism and she can't wait for Eloise to leave this world immediately.
