Love Comes To Me
Chapter 799: You're still a sight to behold

Seeing that he was still playing dumb at this point, Hector took a big step forward and grabbed Rowson by the lapels and dragged him out.

With a flourish of his arm, he pinned the man against the wardrobe, gritting his teeth with a single word, like he wanted to tear him apart and swallow him, "What the hell did you drug Eloise with to keep her unconscious!" "What's wrong with her? She was fine when she had dinner with me last night!"

Rowson also panicked at the sound of it.

When he didn't admit it, Hector laughed in anger, "Fine, you're still pretending, aren't you? She's still lying in a hospital bed, so think about what you did last night!"

Rowson listened dumbfounded and a little dazed.

Last night... he was giving Eloise the antidote last night ah.

"Do you still think she's lived too long? She's been abnormal in her body and her life could be in danger at any moment don't you know?!"

Hector was by now completely hoarse, his throat making a sound like the roar of a wild animal.

After his questioning, a deathly silence fell over the office.

At that moment, there was a knock on the office door and a woman's voice came in.

"Mr. Rowson? Are you all right?"

At that, Rowson cleared his throat and raised his voice in reply, "It's fine, you don't have to come in."

In the large office, two men stood facing each other, like a silent confrontation during a battle, the atmosphere was tense.

Hector's chest continued to rise and fall, his bloodshot eyes fixed on Rowson intently.

After a moment of silence, he slowly calmed down, "The antidote."

"What?" Rowson was a little baffled.

"The antidote! Don't tell me you can drug her and not have an antidote!"

Hector said as he was about to swing his fist again, Rowson hastily raised his arm to block it, "Hector you calm down a bit!"

Hector stared at him for a long moment and then suddenly laughed, looking at Rowson with disdain.

"You don't think that because Eloise was saved by you that she belongs to you completely, do you? I'm telling you she's just lost her memory now and won't fall in love with you! Her heart, it's totally with me!" Rowson's face sank so low that it could no longer be described as unpleasant.

Indeed, in this battle of emotions, whether he admits it too or not, he has lost completely.

"Hector, don't get too cocky either ..."

Without waiting for him to finish his sentence, Hector interrupted directly, "If you have any conscience at all, bring out the antidote." Rowson's tone was cold and hard, "I told you, don't push it, I didn't harm her at all, and I don't know anything about an antidote."

However, Hector didn't believe Rowson at all and just took it as an excuse for him.

"Is it so hard to admit your own failures Rowson, don't make me look down on you, if something happens to Eloise because of you I will never let you go."

Having been so humiliated by Hector, Rowson also fell on his face.

"I repeat, I'm sorry that Eloise is lying in a hospital bed, but the least you can do is keep your cool and accuse people falsely for no reason, I can sue you for defamation!" Hector sneered, striding towards the door, "Rowson, you're still a sight to behold."

Before leaving, Hector warned, "Don't let me see you near her again, or if her life is in danger, I'll make sure you're buried with me, as I said."

The office door was then pulled open and flung hard shut again.

Rowson rolled his neck and spat harshly.

He took out his phone and looked at his face, which was bruised and battered at the cheek, and was furious.

But on second thought, Rowson was worried and helpless at the thought of Eloise still lying in a hospital bed, dead or alive.

He caused all this, and he can do even less now than Hector ...

Adjusting his clothing, Rowson strides out, his face dreadfully grim.

Knowing that Katerina was involved in this incident, Rowson went straight to where Katerina worked and found a mask to put on before entering. Katerina was working when she was suddenly and unexpectedly dragged by a strong force into the adjacent emergency exit.

"Who ... are you doing?!"

Katerina's scream almost came out of her mouth when she felt it was a man, and reacted instantly when she saw it was Rowson. "Something for you, get your shit together and meet me on the rooftop in ten minutes."

Rowson finished and left in a hurry.

Katerina looked around and realised that no one was looking, then handed the notebook to her assistant and turned to the changing rooms. Looking at the back of the rooftop, Katerina said with a smile around her chest, "Looking for me again so soon? Did you have some more good news?"

It was slightly windy on the rooftop and Rowson turned around and tugged his mask off and threw it into his pocket.

Katerina froze at the sight of the cut at his cheek and couldn't help but smile again.

"Did you call me here just to see your flowery cat-like face? Hahahaha ..."

Rowson came over to her with a sullen look, glaring at her impatiently, "Had enough of laughing?"

"It couldn't have been Hector, could it? Rowson, you really are out of your depth, so many times you've taken it upon yourself to mess with Hector have you ever won once?" Katerina's delicately made-up brow looked at Rowson mockingly.

Rowson, who was already in a bad mood, heard her taunting again, Rowson had sulked a little, "Shut up, I'm asking you, what the hell was that medicine you gave me last time?"

Katerina stepped to the side to blow off steam and couldn't help but cry a little when she heard his question, "You don't know anything about it, you medical genius, and you're asking me about a little nurse? Don't be ridiculous." Rowson snorted, "I've never worked on medicines that are harmful to people, unlike you, who develop medicines that are harmful to people!"

"Heal the sick, Rowson, that's definitely the funniest joke I've ever heard, how many times have you harmed Eloise since I've known her?"

When Katerina didn't say anything, Rowson couldn't stop getting angry at her mention of Eloise.

"How dare you mention her! Do you have any idea what she's like now?"

Rowson's forehead was bruised, "She's been unconscious since last night now! Unconscious!"

"Oh? Isn't that the antidote?" Katerina's eyes widened in surprise.

Rowson looked dangerously pale and Katerina knew he was on the verge of a rage and hurriedly took two steps back to keep a safe distance. "You were the one who drugged her before, and you're the one who has her in a hospital bed now, and you're telling me you don't know?"

Rowson clenched his teeth in hatred and added, "How many times have I told you that the war with Hector has nothing to do with her! Bring me the antidote!"

Seeing that Katerina had been playing dumb, Rowson's palm quickly reached for Katerina's neck and tightened the choke at the tiger's mouth.

Rowson's heart rose with pleasure as he watched the woman under his command breathe heavily, struggling like a fish on the shore without water.
