Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 809: People Gone
It was getting dark and Eloise was waking up lazily.
She had slept for twelve hours and moved her sore neck, her hungry stomach growled at that moment and she reached out to rub it gently.
Sitting up from the bed, she glanced at a dinner plate sitting not far away and thought it must have been Rowson who had come by while she was asleep. After a moment's hesitation, Eloise walked over.
After all, it was better to fill her stomach first, otherwise she would not have the strength to escape even if she could replace the opportunity to do so.
As she had just picked up the bread inside, the door to the room was opened and Rowson came in from outside.
At the sight of him, Eloise immediately dropped what she was holding and looked at Rowson with wary eyes. "What are you doing here?"
Rowson approached and tried to reach out to touch Eloise's cheek, but she ducked her head in the opposite direction. Seeing her resist herself so much, Rowson could only sigh.
He deserved all of this.
"Eloise, don't blame me, I'm doing this for your own good, here, drink this down."
Rowson said, taking a small glass bottle out of his pocket and handing it to her.
Knowing what he was going to do, Eloise backed up in a hurry, but soon reached the corner and was unable to retreat. "Rowson, don't make me hate you!"
Despite Eloise's cold, hard tone, Rowson completely ignored her and clamped her hands firmly in place.
Eloise struggled, but her strength was no match for Rowson's.
Rowson poured the liquid from the glass bottle down Eloise's throat and she closed her eyes in despair.
Once the last drop of liquid had entered her body, Eloise felt all the strength in her body disappear in a flash.
The light in front of his eyes was also replaced by darkness.
But this time her consciousness was still there, she just couldn't hear the sounds around her and couldn't make any sound. However, she could feel Rowson pick her up and leave the room.
Where is he taking her?
On the other side, Thomas's search had come to fruition, a step ahead of Killers.
Hector rushed over as soon as he knew the news.
But unfortunately, by the time he entered the flat, he found it long gone.
Looking at the empty flat, he swung his fist in despair and slammed it hard against the snow-white wall.
Blood oozed from Hector's knuckles and the walls were stained bright red, like a blooming rose.
When Thomas saw this, he rushed forward to treat Hector's wound, but was turned away by Hector with one hand.
"Keep looking for me! I must replace someone!"
With these cold words, Hector left without a backward glance, his body exuding a bloodthirsty aura from hell.
As the car sped along the road, the scenery outside the window flew by, the wind whistling in his ears and the constant honking of cars around him, but Hector was oblivious to it. Thomas, who was following behind in his car, saw him driving like that and his heart tightened.
If this continues, it is inevitable that something will happen.
Seeing this, Thomas hurriedly accelerated his own car and gave chase.
In the two days he has been in Italy, Hector has had only a few hours of sleep, and with his worries about Miss Eloise, he is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Although he doesn't say it, Thomas can feel it.
Luckily, there weren't many cars on the road at this point, so Thomas stepped on the gas and caught up with Hector's car, but Hector had no intention of stopping. Thomas was busy dialling his number, "Prince, you can't be so desperate, Miss Eloise is waiting for you now, what will she do if something happens to you?" Thomas' words worked and Hector slowed down and found a place to stop the car.
Fumbling a cigarette case from the centre console, he takes out a cigarette and lowers his head to puff on it.
The taste of nicotine spreads in the mouth and the extremely tense nerves seem to be released a little in this moment.
After a cigarette, Hector's sanity returned.
Thomas spoke up at the right time, "Prince, let me drive while you rest."
"Hmm."
Hector had adjusted himself, pushed open the door and got out of the car and sat in the back.
Thomas was relieved to see Hector sitting in the back seat.
"Drive."
At the words, Hector's eyes closed tightly.
Before leaving, Thomas called his men and asked them to bring back the car that was on the road.
Back at the hotel, Hector locked himself straight into his room.
Glancing at the computer desktop, I saw an unread email from King.
When opened, it revealed the location of the Bergerian Institute in the town he had mentioned earlier.
Making a note of the location, Hector then closed his notebook.
Thomas was right, he couldn't panic, Eloise was still waiting for him.
At this moment, in some Italian research institute, Katerina is respectfully reporting what she knows.
At her words, Bergerian nodded with satisfaction.
"Boss, when are you planning to meet with Rowson?" Katerina enquired.
Bergerian ate the fruit fed to him by the woman beside him and said languidly, "It can be arranged, I'd like to meet this medical genius."
"Yes, boss, if there's nothing else I'll go down and make the arrangements."
Bergerian waved his hand unconcernedly.
Closing the door to the room, the respectful look on Katerina's face ceased and was replaced by a sinister expression.
After Rowson left with Eloise, he was looking for a more private place to stay so that Eloise could be safe.
In the end, a small house was chosen, which was next to the downtown area, so Hector would not replace it for a while.
As the saying goes, the most dangerous place is the safest place, and Rowson knows this well.
After settling in, Rowson lifted Eloise, who was lying on the bed, and fed another potion into her mouth.
Eloise's body is slowly recovering and she is able to make sounds.
As she got a good look at Rowson in front of her, a slap went straight to his face.
"You stay away from me!"
Eloise's voice was a little hoarse because she had just resumed speaking, but Rowson could still sense the strong sense of revulsion in her words.
Her eyes were also filled with coldness and anger.
Rowson knew he was really breaking Eloise's heart by doing this, but he really had no choice.
"Go ahead and hit it, hit it any way you want as long as it takes the anger out of your heart."
Eloise sneered and turned her head away, stinting to give him even a single look.
Seeing her slim back, Rowson's heart swelled with pain.
After a long hesitation, he said in a hushed tone, "Eloise, I know you don't want to talk to me and are disappointed in me, but please listen carefully to what I'm about to say." Coughing softly, Rowson continued, "The germ you have was not injected by me, but I have figured out where it came from.
I decided to infiltrate the enemy's institute and replace information about the germ inside you, once I know the research process of it as well as its ingredients, I will be able to save you then."
