Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 831: A curse that cannot be on the stage
Before going to the office, Hector told his bodyguards to keep an eye on the place, to ensure Eloise's safety and to report any special circumstances as soon as they occurred. He was worried that someone might take advantage of the chaos to do something to Eloise.
When he arrived at the office, Thomas was waiting for him in his office and as soon as he saw him enter, he immediately stood up straight and hung his head slightly, "Sorry Prince, no arrests were made, our men were lost to the other side." Hector nodded thoughtfully and said lightly, "The other side came prepared, so I don't blame you. Tell us the specifics."
Fortunately, the most central information was recovered.
"Yes."
Thomas answered in a deep voice and immediately reported the details.
He gave a general account of the situation, and then, pondering, said, "However, although the other side changed their car afterwards, we saw the license plate number and have had someone check it out, but I doubt it could be that the other side is deliberately revealing a flaw for us to check?"
Hector's eyes narrowed slightly with a stern gleam; what Thomas was worried about was exactly what he was concerned about.
"Keep tracking and report back as soon as you have any information."
Hector sat down at his desk, a little annoyed that it might be a while before this matter was dealt with and his return home would be delayed some more.
Thomas nodded, and then Hector explained some more things to him while looking at the computer monitor.
"Yes, Prince, I'm already having them fortify the firewall. If there's nothing else, I'll head out."
Hector nodded and looked at the display in front of him, trying to replace more breakdowns. There aren't many hackers this good in the world, let alone in Italy, and it's a good target.
Once you have identified which one it is, it will be much easier to catch the person behind him.
Eyes focused on the screen, Hector's thoughts were unusually clear, analysing every possibility and using a large number of contacts to check.
Suddenly there was a knock on the office door, accompanied by Thomas' voice, "Prince, Bergerian has broken in with a man who injured one of our men and wants to see you by name, do you want to come forward?" "Let them in."
Hector gave the order coldly, tugging at his tie with one hand and rising from his chair, his gaze instantly icy and the air pressure around him lowered considerably.
Before he could go after Bergerian, Bergerian came to his door.
Bergerian's face wore a mocking smile as he sauntered into the office, "Mr Hector, good day."
As he spoke, he looked through the floor-to-ceiling window at the staff busy at work outside and sneered, "Mr Hector, your staff are really dedicated to their work. I heard that your company's system was hacked into and a lot of information was lost. I heard that your company's system was hacked and a lot of information was lost. I admire you for sitting still after such a big incident."
He's pretty quick on the uptake.
Hector's tone was bland, the corners of his mouth curled, but there was no half smile in his eyes, "Bergerian, it doesn't seem befitting of you to strike at my men on your arrival. I used to think you were some kind of gentleman, but now you seem to be nothing more than a brutal ruffian."
He sat idly in his office chair, not moving, surveying Bergerian, whose arrival at this time was too much of a coincidence. Moreover, his message was too timely and Bergerian's move was, in all likelihood, a case of this place being a no-brainer.
"Mr Hector is wronging me when he says that, I'm just visiting, no need to be so hostile towards me."
Bergerian laughed and sat arrogantly on the sofa, "Why, won't you make me a pot of tea? I've heard that the Chinese tea ceremony is one of the best, I'm sure Mr Hector is very good at it."
Hector slowly leaned back in his chair, his eyes were cold, like looking at a clown, his voice was extremely light, "You made such a big fuss as soon as you arrived, you injured my people and barged straight into my office, shouldn't you give me an explanation first?"
Bergerian laughed openly, his arm resting on the back of the sofa, tapping it one by one, "Nothing to explain, just heard that Mr Hector hadn't arrived in Italy long before the company had problems, and came to offer you a few words of condolence."
After a pause, his body leaned forward, his eyes full of gloating: "This foreign market, ah, is beyond your control, Mr Hector, I advise you to act within your means." Hector's eyes narrowed slightly and his vision became abruptly stern.
Bergerian was caught off guard by his gaze, and inexplicably felt intimidated, leaning back slightly, before quickly straightening his spine in reaction.
It's just a defeated man, what do you have to fear from yourself.
With this in mind, Bergerian's face regained the look of a strategist.
Hector laughed lightly and said slowly, "Mr Bergerian has a heart, it's just a few small people behind the scenes, it's nothing to worry about."
Bergerian gritted his teeth, hearing that Hector had actually sarcastically called himself a curmudgeon!
As proud as he was, he had never been spoken to like that before, and his face turned ugly.
He quickly suppressed his anger and smiled slightly, "Really? But come to think of it, Mr Hector's methods are rarely matched, so it seems I was worried for nothing." Anyone with a discerning eye could see that in just a few words, Bergerian had fallen behind.
Despite his extreme tact, his aura is, ultimately, no match for Hector's.
Hector just sits there, a look, a gesture, and it screams guts.
"I'm just a businessman. However, if an unscrupulous one comes crashing into me, I, Hector, will not be polite and will definitely clean him up so hard that he will lose his wife's money."
With these words, Hector's patience ran out, and with a turn of phrase, he gave his expulsion orders, "I have business to attend to, Mr Bergerian, so if there is nothing further to do, forgive me for not entertaining." This is a straightforward eviction.
Bergerian was grimacing, no one had ever dared to kick him out, and Hector was the first.
His eyes swept hard over Hector, he had come here today specifically to taunt him, and now that his aim had not been achieved, it made him feel bad all over.
Besides, if he left like that, where would he lose face?
Bergerian opened his mouth to say something else, but Hector, who had already started working on his papers, lifted his eyes and glanced at him, interrupting him.
"By the way, Mr Bergerian remembers how you came in just now, doesn't he?"
Bergerian, unsure, nodded along, with a little smugness in his eyes, "Of course."
So what if he is more powerful, he is still just letting him barge in and there is nothing he can do.
What he didn't know was that Hector had the set ready and waiting for him to admit it.
A playful smirk appeared in Hector's eyes and Bergerian frowned slightly, sensing that something was wrong and instantly wary.
