Love Comes To Me
Chapter 853: I told you ah, no way!

After dinner, the three of them chatted for a while longer. Edgar was worried about Master Khan's health and urged him that it was time to go home and rest early.

Only then did Elder Fang get up with great reluctance, and with the support of Eloise and Edgar, left and right, he walked outside.

Eloise puts Master Khan in the car.

As he left, Master Khan rolled down the car window again and looked at Eloise and instructed, "Eloise, on the day of Grandpa's birthday banquet, you remember to bring that Hector kid along with you." In the end, despite the fact that Master Khan already knew that Eloise was doing well, he still wanted to meet Hector in person.

Confirm with your own eyes whether he is genuinely nice to Eloise or not.

Probably a bit redundant.

But old people, that's just how it is.

"Don't worry Grandpa, I'll take Hector with me." Eloise nodded her head in agreement.

A moment before Edgar stepped on the accelerator, he poked his head out of the car door and asked, "Eloise, are you sure you don't want me to drive you home?"

"Cousin, no need, I can get Hector to pick me up."

Eloise smiles and refuses, and Edgar doesn't press the issue, stepping on the accelerator and driving away.

She watched as the car gradually drove out of sight before she took out her mobile phone and dialled Hector's number.

Hector was seconds away from answering the phone, knowing that Eloise had finished dinner.

With a gentle "wait for me", he dropped what he was doing and drove over to pick up Eloise. Eloise looked up at the star-dotted night sky and was in a rare and somewhat relaxed mood. The sky was so vast that her troubles seemed worthless in comparison.

Like Hector said, everything is going in a good direction.

Soon a black car stopped at her side and she had just looked back when the door had been pushed open.

Hector stepped out of the car and stood in front of her with a straight posture, his lips curling up gently in a playful manner, "May I ask the lady if I have the honour of taking you home?" Eloise couldn't help but lose her smile, but matched him with a straight face, "Sure, that would be a pleasure."

Hector gently pulled open the passenger door and gestured for her to get in.

When the two arrived home, the family was asleep.

Eloise shuffled into Hector's arms and, without waiting for Hector to ask, took it upon herself to ramble on about her meeting with Master Khan.

"I was actually very nervous when I went, I was afraid that Grandpa would be very serious or not like me. But on the contrary, Grandpa was very kind and nice!"

Hector listens very patiently, occasionally responding with a few words.

Eloise was in his arms, shatteringly adorable.

As Eloise spoke, she suddenly remembered what she had promised Master Khan and tilted her head to look at Hector, "By the way, Hector, Grandpa said that on the day of his birthday banquet, he would like us to go together as a family of four, is that okay?"

"Fool, of course I'll go wherever you go."

Hector scratched the tip of her nose with a doting touch.

Eloise smiled a contented smile as she buried her cheek in Hector's arms and rubbed it again and again, "Grandpa needs presents for his birthday, can you replace time to go gift shopping with me tomorrow?"

Eloise lifted her head and wrapped her arms around the neck of his neck and wrapped them around him.

It was rather as if she wouldn't let go of her grip and stay glued to him until he said yes.

"Of course it's good."

Hector chuckled lightly and stroked Eloise's head, "I'll take you to Grandpa's tomorrow to pick it out!"

Eloise's eyes lit up.

Everything in Grandpa Hector's antique shop was highly collectible.

"Yes!"

The two of them get cozy for a while longer before falling asleep in each other's arms.

Early the next morning.

The bedroom door was pushed open and Sweety's little figure leapt in with a whoosh, "Daddy, Mummy, big lazy boy! Rise and shine!"

A soft and milky voice exploded violently in the quiet room.

Eloise woke up rubbing her eyes, and Hector, who was woken up, was very helpless.

The two got up and washed up under Sweety's supervision.

When they came downstairs to the living room, Hector's parents were fully dressed and dragging a suitcase.

When Solomon saw them coming down, he waved and said with excitement, "Daddy, Mommy, Grandma and Grandpa said they're taking me and my sister on a trip!" Eloise surprised Sweety by leading her over to her, "Going on a trip?"

"We've been talking to our two children for a long time, and now that you're back and we've got some time to ourselves, it's a good time to show them around."

Hector's mother took Sweety's small hand, pulled her messy little hair behind her ear and explained.

Eloise and Hector were not opposed to the idea, but they were told to be safe.

Once the two Hector's parents had led Solomon and Sweety out, the house was quiet for a while.

Accustomed to the lively atmosphere of this time, the sudden silence was still a little uncomfortable for Eloise.

Luckily, she still needed to go pick out a gift for Master Khan today, so she didn't have time to think much about it.

After breakfast with Hector, the pair went to the old man's antique shop.

"Grandpa!"

Eloise's voice reached the antique shop before she arrived.

At the sound of this crisp voice, the old man, who was bored with his cup of tea, burst into laughter.

The figures of Hector and Eloise walk inside the antique shop.

"So you two have remembered to come and see me, Grandpa?"

The old man smiled happily and couldn't have been happier to see the two visiting him.

However, as soon as Hector opened his mouth, he made the old man's expression change.

"Grandpa, do you have anything here that would be suitable for a birthday gift?"

The old man's amiable face, which was smiling a moment ago, fell straight down now.

Come on, he should have known that this brat was not going to be good when he arrived.

"What are you up to again, you brat? I'm telling you, no way!"

The old man spoke without good humour, and that wary look couldn't have been more adorable.

Eloise couldn't help but laugh as she watched.

Speaking of which, the old man rolled his eyes at Hector in a very grounded manner, "Every time you come to my place, you pick away one good thing, look at me, what else is there for you to pick!" Although his antique shop is full of rare items, it can't withstand the fact that his grandson keeps making them!

"Grandpa, it's not me."

Hector hooked his lips and smiled, "It's your granddaughter-in-law who wants to pick and she wants to give it away. How about this, I'll play chess with you all morning, what do you think?" The old man's heart softened when he heard it was Eloise who was picking out the gifts.

Joy leapt to the forefront as he listened to the second half of Hector's sentence.

He was bored on his own, and a morning of chess with him was a temptation of no small magnitude.

"Grandpa Grandpa, Eloise knows you're the best."

Eloise took the opportunity to bend down, shake the old man's arm and soften her voice to him.

The old man could not bear to be pampered by his junior, and his heart softened again and again. Hector looked on with a doting smile at his daughter-in-law as she pouted.
