Love Comes To Me
Chapter 895: Daddy is the best man

Knowing that Eloise was scared, Hector handed over his horse to the staff.

Then, taking Eloise's hand herself, she walked over to her horse, "Here, Eloise, try to touch it."

Under Hector's tutelage, Eloise tentatively placed her hand on the horse's mane, which was a little smoother to the touch than she had expected. The horse obediently tilted its head towards her at her touch.

Feeling the horse's closeness, Eloise said with some surprise, "Hector, is this his way of showing me affection?"

"Yes, now you try to get close to him and pat him gently on the horse's back." Hector said softly.

Eloise did as she was told and the horse did not show any aggressive behaviour, which emboldened Eloise a little.

The touch of the horse's back made her curious about what it was like to sit on it, but Eloise was still mentally cringing a little.

There were also some envious glances at Solomon and Sweety's young horses.

How nice to have smaller horses ...

While Hector was teaching a little bit, Solomon, on the other side, had already nimbly mounted the horse he had chosen and started playing with it. Solomon learned to ride when he was in France, and now naturally he lets loose to run.

Sweety could not help but see the envy in Solomon's eyes as he rode happily on the horse.

She glanced at Aisly, who was outside the stable fence, and said in a milky voice, "Auntie, I'm going to go over and play, so you be good here alone."

Her words seemed to be coaxing a small child, and Aisly cried out, "Yes, Auntie, we will listen to Sweety. But Sweety must be careful herself, the horses can sometimes misbehave and be careful of getting hurt." "Don't worry Auntie, the horse won't let me get hurt, he loves me so much!"

Sweety said, and bounced closer to the horses.

When Rupert saw it, he hastily took Sweety in his arms.

"Sweety, my little uncle told you that horses need to be tamed, some horses are very proud and will only obey the master they agree with, running over like Sweety just did can hurt you if you're not careful." Sweety spat out her tongue and nuzzled Rupert's neck, pouting, "I know, Uncle Junior is so nosy, no wonder he never wins an argument with Daddy."

When the little girl despised him, Rupert couldn't help but feel a little helpless, "I was giving in to your daddy, otherwise you think with your little uncle's three inch tongue, he still can't talk to your daddy?" Sweety didn't buy it at all and defended Hector with her aura, "Little Uncle can't talk about Daddy, my Daddy is the most powerful man in the world!" Seeing the determination in the little girl's brow, Rupert couldn't help but wonder if his own child would be so protective in the future.

"Well, little uncle won't argue with you about that, I'll teach you to ride."

As soon as he heard Rupert say he would teach himself to ride, Sweety immediately balked.

"But... I want Daddy to teach me!"

Rupert pointed over to Hector, "Here, your daddy is concentrating on teaching your mummy."

Sweety followed Rupert's finger, and sure enough, Daddy's eyes were fixed on Mummy for a moment.

She had to compromise and said, "Well then, I'll just have to ask my little uncle to teach me."

Seeing the disappointment in Sweety's eyes, Rupert scratched the tip of the little girl's nose, "Come on, my little granddad, your little uncle is pretty good too." Under Rupert's care, Sweety was able to get on the horse as she wished.

Only, Rupert was afraid to let her ride alone, so Sweety rode Rupert's horse.

Only Eloise was left in situ.

Hector persuaded a little, "Don't worry Eloise, it's okay, I'm behind you, I won't fall, you get on the horse first, I'll follow."

After a long moment of reflection, Eloise settled down, stroked the horse's mane and said softly, "Be good, horse, oh, I'll be sure to mount you gently."

At the words, the horse responded softly and Eloise couldn't help but feel a little more relieved.

"Eloise, mount your horse crisply and with your right leg too high lest you touch your horse's hip and cause it to spook."

Following Hector's instructions, Eloise finally managed to get on the horse.

The horse even shuddered the moment she went up and Eloise couldn't help but gasp.

Seeing this, Hector hastily tightened the reins and then mounted up as well, putting one arm around Eloise's slender waist.

Once the horse was in a stable condition, he handed the reins in his hands to Eloise, "Eloise, you try to hold the reins, remembering not to let the drawstring get tangled in your arms or hands." "Relax your knees, don't clench your horse's belly too tightly, keep your head and cervical spine naturally vertical, and keep your calf fibulae steadily on the horse's sides."

...

Hector's voice echoed in her ears and Eloise couldn't help but feel a lot less timid in her mind.

Emboldened, the horses slowly moved forward under her command.

Eloise said excitedly, "Hector, look it's gone eh!"

Seeing her smiling face, the smile in Hector's eyes became more and more gentle, "Yes, that's it, keep it up, the horse is actually very good, he knows you won't hurt him and will do as you say." The horse was slowly gaining speed and Eloise's emotions were following suit.

Constantly talking to Hector about what he had learned, Hector listened intently.

It was the first time he had seen Eloise so interested in a matter.

At this point, Solomon harnessed his horse and approached Rupert's horse.

Sweety said excitedly, "Daddy, Mummy, look, Sweety can ride a horse too!"

The couple said in unison, "Sweety is awesome."

Solomon sniffed, with a look that begged for praise, "Mummy, Solomon rides himself."

Eloise handed the reins to Hector and reached up to give a thumbs up, "Our Solomon is the best too, Solomon is even better than Mummy, a little man now."

At Eloise's compliment, Solomon's little head immediately lifted and he glanced at Rupert, "Uncle Junior, do we want to have a race?"

Rupert, always up for a challenge, raised an eyebrow and said, "I'd love to, so let's compete for the least amount of time over the course of the lap."

One big and one small decided to race and then handed Sweety over to Aisly who was waiting outside.

The pair then started the match.

Seeing their horses running fast, Eloise couldn't help but feel that she was riding too slowly and turned her head to Hector, "Hector, let's go faster too and catch up with them." "Good." Hector answered softly.

Immediately afterwards the three horses galloped across the field, the bumps on their backs relaxing Eloise and adding a lot of light to her eyes.

The winner of the competition was Rupert, although Solomon was not bad, but he was still a child and a young horse.

However, it was as enjoyable as it could be.

It had been an exceptionally fun morning for Eloise, who hadn't experienced such a soothing feeling in a long time. Solomon has been jabbering away with Sweety since he dismounted.

As soon as they had changed, Sweety yelled that she was hungry and the family went to lunch together.

At the table, Sweety said, "Daddy, can we come over every week from now on, Sweety loves it!"

Hector never says no to a little girl's request.

"Sure, we can come over whenever Sweety wants to play."

Sweety clapped her hands and cheered when she got the affirmative answer.
