Chapter 908: Caution is the best thing to do

Night, hotel.

Hector sits quietly in his chair with a laptop in front of him and on the screen is some information about the Italian underground institute.

And on the other side of the sofa sat Thomas, and beside Thomas, there was another man, none other than Ramm.

The room was lit up and so quiet that even a pin dropped on the floor could be heard clearly.

It was at this point that the sound of a crisp tap came through the window opening.

Hector clearly heard the voice but acted as if he hadn't heard it, continuing to check the information on his computer screen without distraction.

It was Thomas, in turn, who got up in a hurry to pull the curtains aside and saw the man outside, dressed in black, climbing on the window and, at first glance, somewhat discreetly.

Thomas, very calm, opened the window and took two steps back before the two men in black jumped in and untied the ropes around his waist.

It was the same two agents who had just infiltrated the SA Group Institute, the only difference being that one of them had an extra duffel bag on him.

It was then that Hector's eyes looked over and Ramm stood up, "Well, any luck?"

It was said to be an enquiry, but Ramm's tone was muted and somewhat tenuous.

Upon hearing this, the two men reported together, "Captain, we have a haul."

One of them put down the duffel bag he was carrying and took out a small case and handed it over, "Inside this case, there are the drugs we got from the lab, and the strains that are being cultivated, because we are worried that the loss of temperature will break the outside drugs, so we use the case to ice them."

Ramm took the small box and nodded with satisfaction, "So you weren't found out, were you?"

"No. But we took their drugs, so I guess they'll notice by tomorrow at the most."

The staff will certainly replace out tomorrow morning when they go back in to check on the cultivation situation. However, it is unlikely that the SA Group's people will be able to replace them even if they dig into the ground.

Ramm nodded in approval, "You guys did a great job tonight, good work!"

When the two men heard the words, they simply bowed their heads respectfully, without a trace of pride.

In their line of work, what is most taboo is self-righteousness, and pride of capital can turn out to be the cause of death one day.

"Prince, take a look."

Ramm turned and walked over to Hector and handed him the item.

Hector took the small case and opened the lid, only to see wisps of cold air coming out of it, which housed several test tubes and some medication.

Hector took a general look at it and then simply covered it and handed it back to Ramm.

Turning to the two agents, his eyes clear and cold, he ordered, "You will send this back home to Almeida and Sener for study."

"Yes, my subordinates will not be disgraced."

When he said that, he saw the two men in black, after getting the small box, go to the window and tie the rope, leap and disappear in the darkness, the whole process almost in the blink of an eye, incredibly fast. Calm was restored to the room and the matter came to an end. All that remained was to wait for the results of Almeida and Sener's research.

Hector turned his gaze aside to Ramm with a slightly cold look on his face, "Ramm, do you know what's been going on in Italy lately?" Ramm was well aware that the Italy Hector was talking about was not so much Italy as it was just the actions of the man Bergerian. Bergerian has been absent of late, but Hector keeps an eye on him at all times.

Under the guise of a company, Bergerian is making waves in Italy and doing the unseemly.

The reason Bergerian is still bouncing around unscathed is because Hector hasn't found the evidence yet, and once he does, it will be the day when Bergerian will never be able to turn his back. Ramm mused and replied, "There doesn't seem to be much movement on the surface of the Bergerian these days, but there's been a lot of private action."

Hector nodded slightly and said with understanding, "He is a very cunning man, I think he has realised that he is being watched, but he will not be at peace for long."

"Indeed. By the way, there is something important to tell you, our people, from his side, have sent word that they have found a very important Bergerian institute stronghold.

That stronghold, too, is presumably working on harmful drugs, though it hasn't been specifically checked out."

Hector's narrow eyes shone with an obscure light, making it impossible to guess what was on his mind.

"In that case, send someone in to investigate and replace what I want as soon as possible."

Ramm nodded, "Don't worry Prince, the matter is already being deployed. But ..."

Hector looked at Ramm's laconic look and frowned slightly, "What? Just say what you have to say."

Hector was a little puzzled, he had rarely seen Ramm look like this, Ramm had never been a procrastinating character.

Ramm had stopped short of speaking, but met Hector's gaze and opened his mouth to voice his concerns.

"It would be best, of course, if we could replace what we want as soon as possible. But I'm just afraid that the Bergerian will sense something and destroy the Institute first before we can replace it." Hector scowled; with Bergerian's approach to things, the concerns Ramm spoke of were not impossible to happen.

Once the Institute was destroyed, then their investigation, would have been brought to a direct standstill. What's more, the method of removing the germs from Eloise's body will be made more difficult as a result.

Hector became more and more cautious when he thought of Eloise, and there was a long silence before he explained in a deep voice, "Be careful, it's okay to be slow, but don't spook the snake." Bergerian is definitely resourceful enough to be in the position he is in today.

Although Ramm's men are nowhere to be found, it's better to be careful just in case.
