Instantly, Vicky became the most hated woman in the entire country.

She glanced through the comments expressionlessly and took a deep breath after shutting off thescreen to think of a way out.

Knock, knock!

Just then, she heard knocking on the door, followed by a familiar voice.” Miss Shaw, I’m Harry. MisterHart has asked me to escort you to the hospital.”

She slowly began to regain her composure at the sound of Harry’s voice as she remembered that Tylerhad ordered her to go to the hospital and apologize to Sheila.

Not bothering to open the door, she said, ’I’m not going.’

Harry’s voice came through the door faintly. “Miss Shaw, Mister Hart said that it’s best for you to come.”

“And if I refuse to?” She chuckled darkly.

After a brief moment of silence, Harry said, “Mister Hart said you’ll come to regret it.”

“I will never regret it!”

With that, Vicky ignored Harry.

Harry continued to knock on the door for the next few minutes, but since Vicky had stopped respondingaltogether, he eventually left.

Shortly after Harry left, Vicky received a call from Jennifer. “Vicky, some people just came and sprayedpaint all over our studio and destroyed everything inside, including all the drafts of our designs. Cecewent to stop them and got injured in the process…”

After Jennifer recovered, she started going to work with Cece at Vicky’s studio.

She was a great artist and had a sharp sense for fashion, and she had even studied relative knowledgein the past out of curiosity but gave up on her passion because she wanted to study at the sameuniversity as Anthony.

Since she started living with Cece, she slowly began to pick up what she had given up on, seeing howenergetic and cheerful Cece was every day at work.

Jennifer learned quickly, and she was left behind with Cece to work in the studio while Vicky followedthe movie crew to Arrowtown.

Vicky tensed at the tone of her voice and tightened her grip on the phone.” How is Cece now?”

“She was injured in the head and has a mild concussion. Those people still won’t let her go and followus all the way to the hospital.”

“Alright.” Vicky stood. ‘Jennifer, take Cece home. Don’t go outside. I’ll travel back now.”

Not having the time to pack, she bought the flight ticket back to Stoneford City and strode out of herroom.

As soon as she stepped foot out of the hotel, something was thrown in her direction.

“Vicky Shaw, you’re a vixen and a murderer! You don’t deserve to live!”

Vicky had her mind full of concern about Cece that she was caught offguard.

The egg slammed into her head, and the liquid inside scrolled down her forehead.
