Vicky did not feel anything else other than replaceing it shocking to hear about the past from Tyler. Maybeshe never loved Harvey before.

While she was immersed in her thoughts, Tyler coldly added, ’Oh, right. Do you know Maria is Harvey’ssister?’

Vicky was baffled by this. “I…heard it from someone.’

Tyler’s tone was cold. “Maria is a spoiled and proud girl. Before you were engaged to Harvey, shealways hated you. After you became her brother’s fiancee, your relationship with her only worsened.Everytime you two fought, Harvey would always side with her.”

He looked at Vicky. “That was why Maria dared to cause trouble for you all the time; someone willalways be there to protect her.”

Vicky hated Maria with the same weight she did with Sheila. From the first day she met Maria, shenever had a good impression of her.

A question popped into her mind. “You looked like you were close to her.”

Tyler explained indifferently, “The enemy of your enemy is your friend.”

“But you should be the enemy. You and Harvey are rivals. As Harvey’s sister, it just doesn’t makesense for her to get so close to you,’ Vicky wondered.

“There is clearly no distinction between black and white in this world. Do you really think Maria is aperson who values relationships and is loyal?”

Vicky became quiet. ‘That’s right. Obviously, Maria is an egoist. She’s also spoiled and self-centered.It’s no surprise that she’d betray her brother for someone she likes.’

Tyler’s cold voice came from the top of her head. “Vicky, you haven’t told me what you two did thatnight.’

Vicky regained her senses. “I told you we didn’t do anything, yet you don’t believe me. When I told youwe did everything, you still didn’t believe me. Why don’t you tell me what answer you’re looking for?”

After a few seconds of silence, Tyler asked again, “What did you two do?”

Vicky did not want to talk anymore. Why should he be questioning her when he himself had anambiguous relationship with Sheila?

Vicky’s silence infuriated Tyler. In fact, he was not that angry anymore, but Vicky’s reaction created abacklash.

“Answer me!’

Vicky’s gaze wavered. “Are you going to have a divorce with me if I slept with him?”

Instantly, the air stagnated. Tyler remained silent for a long period.

Sometimes, being quiet was more torturing than being in a fight. This was one of those moments.

Frankly speaking, Vicky regretted it after asking that question. She was never a person who wouldhave an affair or flirt with another guy just because she wanted to have a divorce.

After a while, Tyler finally spoke again.

“I will kill you.”

Vicky was stunned. “What did you say?’

Tyler said calmly, “Vicky Shaw. If you dare to betray me, I will kill you.”

He looked level-headed, devoid of aggression. Vicky felt like the anger he had was just herhallucination. Nevertheless, it terrified her more when Tyler was in such a calm moment.

Although it sounded outrageous, she had no doubt Tyler meant what he said.

He was serious, and it was not a joke.
