Lucius

It has been four months since trying to replace where the criminals had moved to. Lucius could not pick up on Margo's magic, it was like it didn't-exist anymore. He could use a rose quartz crystal and map to project his intentions on the person he was looking for. His father was driving him mad for letting them escape all those months ago. So, when he heard there was going to be a mission to round up wanted criminals, he took the opportunity to go out and replace them. Even if means replaceing them in this small city of Billings, Montana.

Following the criminals to Billings, Montana, Lucius was looking in the woods towards the mountains of the Yellowstone River. He was not sure what brought him here in the first place. He felt drawn to the city. Driving the car into the nearby hotel, he saw a familiar truck. Lucius was right the criminals were staying at the hotel.

Then Lucius pushed his white blonde locks back and looked in the mirror and sighed. His father wanted him to do this job since he was tired of being in the EverGreen. He needed a change of scenery or lose his mind. Thus, needed to blend in so they won't suspect his presence. Lucius got out of the car to check in at the hotel to get a room. His room was a couple of doors down from the criminals.

Then made his way to his room and place his bag on the bed. Check everything out to see if everything was good shape.

Lucius was getting bored with hanging around the motel room. He decided to check out a place to eat. Following the names on the top of the buildings and read to see if any were diners that were opened late. He found it on the corner and goes inside. The place was a nice and cozy feel to it. He waited for the hostess to appear.

"Table for one," Lucius said after the hostess came back.

"Follow me," The hostess replied and gestured for him to follow her.

The hostess gave him a seat near the window. He sat down and place his jacket on the seat next to him. The hostess gave him a menu and asked" What can I get you?"

"A water," Lucius answered.

The hostess scribbled that down on her notepad. Then proceed to get the rest of his order. Then went to grab everything from the kitchen.

Lucius waited for his dinner and people watched from the diner. He saw a young woman with black hair walking her canine. He noted the now-hiring sign outside the door. The woman was observing the sign and wrote down the number. Her dog pulled her down the street. He couldn't hear what she said to her dog after chasing it down the street.

The hostess cleared her throat to inform Lucius of his meal was on the table. Then she went back to her post. She did ask him if he needed anything else.

After finishing, he paid and then left. Lucius went back to his motel room for the night. He decided to go over the clues that trackers gave him about the criminal's recent activity. So far, nothing else he can add to the list. Lucius fell asleep reviewing everything on the television.

The next morning, Lucius went about his usual routine. He breakfasted at the same diner. Then he was left and not realizing he was not watching where he was going.

"Ouch," said a voice angrily, "Watch where you are going"

Lucius looked down and saw her picking up her stuff. He bent down to help gather her things. It was the same black-haired woman from last night. He was transfixed by her.

"Umm...sorry," Lucius stuttered. He was transfixed by her beautiful face and could not look away.

The woman got her things and then left. Lucius stared after her and was suddenly curious about who she was. He spent the rest of the day thinking about the encounter. His phone rang soon after getting back to the motel room. Looked at the screen and swiped.

"Did you replace the location of the criminals?" Miles asked.

"Yes, So far, nothing has shown up. Even with the trackers keep an ear out for anything. No one has anything new. They might be laying quiet." Lucius told Miles.

"Call me when you have something useful to tell me," Miles said then the line went dead.

Lucius threw his phone on the bed. He sat on the edge and had to think about how he was going to replace the criminals. Although Lucius could not replace any more information about the trio that had run from the council, he decided to drive around the city to see if anything would turn out to be magic. Nothing did and went back to the motel room for the evening.

Nothing else to do in the city for Lucius instead of exploring. Lucius felt there could be something about Billings that could be different than Ever Green. He needed to stay to replace out what this place holds.
