The day arrived when she would be officially introduced to the pack, two days before she would be marked in front of them. Anastasia shuffled around nervously in her room as Julia assisted her with clothing. It was a fancier outfit than normal and needed someone to tie the back for her. The twins had left to get everything ready, so she was alone preparing herself for the big day.

Julia gave her encouragement as they styled her still short hair a little, applying the finishing touches as the time to go started looming over.

"Everyone is so excited, don't worry about it. You don't even have to say anything," Julia reassured as they walked down the halls to meet the alphas.

"I guess," Anastasia muttered, her hands shaking a little.

Logan Was the one to greet her surprising her by pressing a soft kiss on her cheek as he placed a large hat with a veil on him, keeping her hidden until it was time for her to be revealed properly.

"Ready?" he asked lightly, grabbing her hand and waiting for her to start walking out of the door. Anastasia took a deep breath and moved, feeling a little light-headed.

People waved at them as they exited the gates, the revealing being done at the front of the gate separating the pack and the pack house or castle as she called it. The only thing she could hear was Leo's voice as he spoke to the crowd, a small murmur traveling around when some people saw her exit the compound, most unable to see her

Leo had started the speech alone. Anastasia was too nervous to focus on what he was saying. She just played around with Logan's hands as she waited behind the stand, eyes firmly on the floor as he tried not to think too hard. They were hidden from the crowd, but some could probably still see her, Logan's enormous frame, only doing so much.

She apprehensively walked up the steps, taking Logan's hand as he was guided up. The hat obscured her vision slightly, unable to properly see the steps. She clung onto the alpha as ehe was guided to stand next to Leo.

"And here we present you, after eight years of searching, our omega." Her hat and veil was slowly lifted off her head, letting her adjust to the light a little. Once it came off, she heard a large gasp echo throughout the crowd. Was it in happiness or disgust? Leo's hand was still tightly holding onto his twin as she looked to the side at him. She was given a loving smile, eyes full of adoration. She gave a tiny smile back, feeling the urge to cry from fear. She never liked large crowds.

The crowd suddenly erupted into cheers, shocking the omega. She looked around at the crowd, they all looked at her in wonder, pointing at her hair. She blushed and looked down, stepping to the side a little to hide behind Logan. The hand she was holding slipped out to wrap around her, keeping her tucked into the other's side.

The cheers started to quieten down after a while, so Leo started speaking. "As you can see our omega is pure white. The mating call makes sense now, doesn't it? She has the most beautiful white coat, something that is for only us to see. I once again want to say that this is your Luna, treat her with respect. She has been very excited to meet you all and assist us in leading the pack. Anyone who disrespected her or by extension us will be punished severely."

And with a final bow and some other words, she was exiting the stand just as quickly. The alphas had promised that she wouldn't have to stay out for too long, and she was glad about it.

The alphas didn't leave her side for the rest of the day, the three of them hanging together. She was then introduced to the council just before dinner, getting to know the other alphas, betas, and even one omega that she would be closely working with soon. They had all been welcoming, thankfully not asking too many questions about her hair or questions she didn't know how to answer. Dinner for the first time wasn't with just her mates, but at the large table in the hall, the food fancier and the whole ordeal more formal.

Julia had taught her earlier some etiquettes she was expected to follow for formal dinners like this, and she did her best to follow along. They could only eat after the pack leader started, a sign of respect, and had to eat four separate courses as per tradition, each getting heavier every time. She fell asleep very quickly that night before the alphas joined her in bed.

Anastasia had spent time worrying about the love her mates had for him. Logan Had yet to utter the word after so many nights ago which made her think that it wasn't sincere, but the way that they looked at him made him think differently.

"Logan?," :she nudged the alpha as he was putting back the weapons. The alpha hummed in response.

"You said you love me. How can you love me?" the question that was plaguing her mind finally came out. She wasn't sure what response she was hoping to get, probably a denial of emotions and being told that he had only meant it causally. Logan Once again surprised her.

"What do you mean? I cannot not love you. Neither of us can't."

"But how? You don't know me at all, it's only been what 6 days? We are mating tomorrow and you say you love me but there is nothing to love yet." Falling in love always seemed to be something that took time to form, months of courting until the couple was ready to secure their bond. Anastasia had no issue with getting bitten after only one week, these were her soulmates so a bite would happen regardless. She also understood that the rules were different as leaders, so the quickness of the ordeal didn't disturb her either. They still had plenty of time after biting to fall in love, the mating would only make it easier as the wolves would be bonded and able to understand their mate easier. What did disturb her was the declaration of love so quickly. It was unnatural in her opinion.

"I love you because you're my mate. I have loved you since I found out I had a mate 8 years ago." Logan Had spoken a lot more than he usually would but Anastasia was too troubled to think about that, her mind still feeling dizzy from everything her mate was saying.

"How can you though?"

"Because the moon chose you to be ours. How can I not love you if that's the case? You are our mate and you will be with us for the rest of our lives so we love you." The alpha was saying everything so simple as if it was obvious. But it wasn't.

"But you can't simply fall in love with me like that. You can like me or be fond of me but life takes time. It's been 8 years since you knew you would have a soulmate and I get that you have longed for me, but you can't love someone you never met. You can't fall in love with me in less than a week." Anastasia was crying now. The concept of that kind of was something she just could not comprehend. Fondness and mutual attraction, yes. Love, no. Her head and heart hurt as she thought about the situation, it didn't make sense, nothing did. How could love exist in such a short period?
