Chapter 13

The alphas resumed their care on her throbbing wound right after, trying to get it to seal as quickly as hers did. Anastasia closed her eyes again and tried to calm her emotions, two foreign entities swimming in her consciousness was a lot to take in, but she knew it would settle.

When they were satisfied, a veiled hat was put on her head and she was carried out by Leo, the carriage from earlier had its hood up and sides drawn. Cheers erupted again when they exited, causing Anastasia to wince a little, concern flooded through her body immediately after, the feeling increasing twice.

She was rushed inside and the carriage which traveled faster, both twins anxious to get her back.

The rest of the day was filled with her getting cuddled by her mates, getting her wound treated even more than their mouths, and being fed by them. Slight nausea came by nightfall, her body finally getting used to the feeling.

"How do you feel, my light?" Logan Asked as they walked back to the bedroom, the day drawing to an end.

"Happy," she felt her face erupt into a smile. Everything felt so amazing, just a little short from perfect. She didn't know what that little gap in her emotions was, but it was there all the same.

"A nest, we were supposed to allow you to nest when we first saw you. Now we have mated and you still don't have one. We are shit mates."

Anastasia 's brain short-circuited after the words nest. She had never managed to make one, the few blankets she had before barely providing the comfort with a proper nest would. The fact that her mates were going to provide her with one elated her.

It was such a standard thing to do but held so much meaning behind it. An omegas nest was a safe haven for them, where only their mates and pups can go. It is a place that has everything valuable to them, providing them with comfort even when their mates are far away. Maybe not having a nest was why Anastasia was always skittish. She could never relish the feeling of a small space for only her.

That was it, that was all she needed.

Too busy focused on that one word, she didn't catch on to the degrading things the twins were saying about themself. She snapped back when they uttered the word failure.

"No! You aren't. You are the best mates in the world. I don't care that you forgot, I am just so happy that you allowed me to have one in the first place. I never got one." "How could you not?" Logan Was bewildered.

Leo shushed her, "we will get everything we prepared for your nest, you can make it now."

"How about tomorrow?" Anastasia interrupted. It's already nightfall, I want to spend a lot of time on my first nest. Tonight I want to be with you." She was grinning so wide, her scent filling the room with a sweet aroma, like surgery pastries.

It was only when Leo started stepping down into the bath that he noticed his omega's state. Anastasia still had her eyes open as she followed the movements of his cock, eyes trained on it like she was being hypnotized.
