So tell me how did you cry so much?"

"Onions," Anastasia stated simply. "My saliva is also a faster healer, faster than yours, but I discovered ages ago that tears repair the skin almost instantly. I think it's because it's harder to produce. But I could make myself sad so I had to use my fake tears that don't work as fast, but still faster than my saliva."

Leo nodded along. "Very interesting. What else have you discovered then."

"That thing about my hair, but I haven't tried it out yet," Anastasia frowned, "it mentioned somewhere that if I am an omega my heats are special. It didn't explain how though."

"We still have 2 weeks before we replace out how though," Leo murmured, then smirked at her cockily. "I can't wait."

Anastasia laughed and rolled her eyes fondly. "Oh, I know you do. I also found out that I will age slowly, my hair will never grey and that the chances of me birthing more than one pup are high."

That made Leo stop walking momentarily. "So twins?" He asked. "That would be lovely, but I'm not keen on it happening."

"How so?" Anastasia asked.

"If it happened then it would be the biggest blessing of all, my mate providing me with multiple pups, but our mother died at childbirth. She passed away right after having me, "Leo's tone became saddened, "Logan had to be cut out of her."

Anastasia felt her eyes watering. "That's horrible," she took a moment to process that.

Wolves were not easily able to conceive more than one child, that's why pregnancies were so highly regarded. Many wolves died in pregnancy, it was a miracle to survive more than one birth. She knew of one lady who had 6 pups she had been treated like royalty. It also flipped negatively, with any wolves incapable of reproducing shunned.

She knew that their father died a few years ago so at least the twins had one parent. Lorenzo Sinclair had been a great leader and even better father. He had been excited to meet their mate.

"I'm blessed by the moon though," Anastasia stated. "Pregnancies are supposed to be easier for me, my chances of survival are higher because of the goddess looking after me."

"I hope that's the case then," Leo bent down to kiss her softly.

The strain on their bond wasn't felt for some time, not until later that day when she realized how much of a distance was put between her and her mate. As the day went along she felt sadder, Leo's affection helping her get through the slump. He could feel the strain from the bond but could feel Anastasia's turmoil.

Sometime that night, Anastasia felt a tug in her bond, feeling closer to Logan as if he was right there with her instead of hours away. She opened her eyes up blearily, tilting her head up to only feel one pair of arms around her and Leo 's handsome face above hers. She felt another tug.

"Logan?" She called out, looking around, the room had no one else there, yet it felt like the alpha was there. Resigning sadly back down, she went back to sleep, the feeling in her bonds slowly fading.

Anastasia thought about what happened that night as she relaxed in the garden, experimenting with the paints she got as Julia read over all the books they found about pure whites.

"I think Logan burnt your hair, maybe that's why you felt him," Julia suggested. "Yeah that sounds realistic, but I'm confused on how it works," Anastasia muttered. " All the book said was to burn the hair, do you see the vision in the flame? I gave him the most basic information and just told him to experiment, it seems like he figured it out on his own."

"Get Leo to burn your hair, or as Logan when he comes back," the beta replied.

"I'll ask him tonight, what else have you found?" Anastasia deflected the topic. It was annoying her a little how nobody knew that much about people like her but they were so highly regarded.

"They mostly say that you are blessed by the moon and have everything the moon represents. You are a beacon of light in the darkness, fertility, immortality, purity, guidance."

Anastasia cracked a smile," a beacon of light in the darkness, do you think I could glow in the dark?"

Julia laughed at her. "You could, you did say that you never really explored your wolf."

"Well I'm going to glow in the dark anyway," Anastasia stated, "I'm white, that's hard to miss in the woodland."

"Well we know immortality is through your looks, you will die like any other wolf but will live with a youthful face and body. The fertility part I do not know about, we have to wait and see until you get pregnant, and the guidance... I don't know how that works.\\

"I'm guessing it has to do with the moon's effect on our inner wolf and the movements of the water and nature. Maybe I'm just a symbol of hope."

Later that night, Anastasia felt the tug in his bond deep into the night again, Leo completely passed out next to her, his face buried in the omegas scent gland as he spooned her.

The omega lifted his head, confused at the stronger feeling. He swore Logan was right next to him, maybe it was the longing from being separated from her mate with such a fresh bond, but it felt so real. The alphas upper body materialized in her mind, looking so real that when she opened her eyes he was met with darkness again.

Closing his eyes, she focused on the figure, the alpha was in the woodlands somewhere, a tent behind him. He was staring back at her, eyes full of love but the usual intensity as well.

"Logan?" She called out in her head, confused as to why the imagery looked so real. The alpha's eyes widened slightly.

"You can see me?" The alpha said. Anastasia smiled, eyes still closed as she snuggled closer into Leo 's hold.

"Yes."

Logan's face broke out into a grin. "You are magical," his voice was quiet, most likely to not disturb any fighters sleeping near him. Her omega was jumping up inside, chanting mate. She didn't realize how much she missed seeing the alpha's face.

"How did you do it?" Anastasia asked. "The book said to burn it but nothing else."

"I burnt your hair yesterday and looked into the tiny flame but saw nothing. When it turned into ashes I accidentally inhaled some and suddenly felt like I was next to you for a moment."

"Ahh," Anastasia declared, "I felt that too."

"I tried it again today, more hair too, Can't believe it worked," the alpha looked like he was in disbelief. "I'm running out of hair though."

"Don't use too much of it, it's only the second day," Anastasia instructed. The vision faded, slowly disappearing from his mind. "Love you." She rushed out, realizing that the effects were slowly disappearing.

She heard a faint love you back before the image of her mate disappeared. She went to sleep with a sated omega, the strain in her bond almost disappearing
