Chapter 1065 Sisterly Rivalry "Yes." "It's been a long time, Gwenn Tanner." Northern Star Hotel, Room 2101.

Gwenn reclined on the couch, legs crossed, casually admiring her delicately painted nails. She glanced at the bodyguard before her with indifference. "When are my sister and brother-in-law arriving? I've been waiting forever. My plane is still on standby." She flashed a flirtatious smile at the bodyguard. "Why don't you chat witha little? I'm so bored!" The bodyguard remained stoic, unmoved by her attempts at conversation.

Gwenn grew bored of trying to engage the bodyguard and turned her attention back to her phone, idly scrolling through messages. That's when she noticed several video files from her assistant.

A mysterious smile curled her lips as she opened the files to watch. Just then, the door to her hotel room swung open.

Gwenn glanced up, her eyes locking onto Damien Lenoir, dressed in black, and Cherise Shaw, as elegant as ever. Bathed in sunlight, they seemed perfectly matched, radiating an aura of allure.

Gwenn narrowed her eyes. She despised seeing Cherise like this, standing beside Damien as though she belonged there, shining in her all-encompassing charm.

It should have been Gwenn in Cherise's place! As the sole heiress of the Tanner family and Damien's wife! If it weren't for Cherise meeting Damien first and being the Tanner family heiress, Damien would never have chosen her. It was all Cherise's fault! The more Gwenn dwelled on it, the more her anger swelled, her disdain for Cherise becoming increasingly evident.

Perhaps Cherise sensed Gwenn's hostility, for her smile faltered slightly. "Gwenn." Gwenn was taken aback. After everything Cherise had endured, she still had the nerve to stand before her, speaking with such civility.

"Stop pretending," Gwenn retorted icily. "Stop acting kind and innocent, Cherise Shaw. I know you're the one who wantsdead the most. The one who wishes she didn't have a sister, especially one like me." It was true that Gwenn had devised schemes against Cherise, but Cherise had retaliated in kind. And Gwenn's schemes had hardly been successful.

Now, watching Cherise feign innocence made Gwenn nauseous, especially as everyone seemed to buy into it despite Cherise's malevolent actions.

"You're right," Cherise acknowledged with a smile, unfazed by Gwenn's hostility. I wish I didn't have a sister like you. A sister who constantly opposesand tries to harmat every turn. I only acknowledged you as my sister out of respect for Father's decision back then." "But..." Cherise's smile vanished as she fixed Gwenn with a cool gaze. "From today onwards, you are no longer my sister." "Finally showing your true colors?" Gwenn sneered, rising to her feet "The Mortis sisters may be foolish and incompetent, but I didn't expect Sebastian Weiss, heir to the Weiss family, to also fall into your hands." As she spoke, her cold gaze shifted to Damien. "I must admit, you are quite the capable man." mmMwWLlilOfiflo&1 mmMwWLlilOfiflO&1 mmMwWLliI0fiflO&1 mmMwWLlilOfiflO&1 mmMwWLliI0fifl0&1 mmMwWLlilOfiflO&1
