Chapter 1214 Peter immediately made for the courtyard. The bodyguards perched in front of Shannon and Mason swiftlyfollowed after Peter and evacuated the living room. Shannon shuddered, then she took a deep breath and proceeded out into thecourtyard as well, her face wrenched with nerves.

Mason frowned and soon went outside as well. Before he could draw himself into the courtyard , two bodyguards came out ofnowhere and cut off his oath.

They pointed at the door behind him and said, “Master Brown, please leave.”.Mason clenched his fists.

John and Sherry‘s figure was nowhere to be seen, they had long departed.

He was consumed with darkness and depression , he felt completely powerless in the face of John and knew that there wasnothing he could do.

He swallowed his contempt, then turned around and left, his head downcast and defeated. 1John carried Sherry to his courtyard and into the placewhere he had previously kept her jailed for a year.

Despite being vacant for two months, it still looked the same as before inside , even the weeds in the garden had been trimmedappropriately so it seemed as if this area was completely unscathed by the passing of time.

This was the place where she was once kept like a prisoner, there was nothing she could do to pass time save for embroideringhere and she was subjected to eating the same tasteless food every day. Memories of the monotonous and dull life she led herecame rushing back to her.

She suddenly wrestled in his arms, “You bastard! Put me down!”He clutched her legs in his arms so she could not move at all, then he strode into the room.

Sherry‘s hands had grown numb from constantly pounding against John, she was running out of strength by this point. Her eyeswere burning red, she widened her jaw and tried to bite into his back.

John kicked the door open.

Sherry was startled.

Her teeth only barely grazed his back, then she was hung into the room.

She crashed against the bed.

Fortunately, the mattress cushioned her fall. She rolled around on the bed and then regained her balance on her feet.She was immediately confronted by John‘s intense and demonic expression.

She retreated away from him and glared at him icily,” John, I'm just your servant, remember? I'm not your lover, you have awife!”

He approached her and grabbed her jaw with his gigantic hands.

He curled his lips into a devilish smile and said, “You're right.”

Sherry turned away and tried to fling his hand away.

He tightened his grip around her jaw.

Sherry could not shake him off, she screamed at him at the top of her voice, “Get your stinking hands off of me right now!Heh. He chuckled softly and lowered his head.

His face was only inches away from hers.

Sherry wanted to get away from him but there was nowhere for her to retreat to.

His lips were so close to touching hers, she could feel his warm breath beating against her lips when he spoke,” Sherry, I'vechanged my mind. | no longer want you as my servant, | want you as my lover.”

Sherry froze, she immediately protested, “I don‘t want—*

She was silenced by his lips pressing against hers. She vigorously shoved her arms against him.
