Sylvia said coldly, “Admit it, you just don‘t want to fire her!”

Odell pursed his lips, frowning deeply. His gaze was gloomy. It seemed like he was forcing down his temper. The strength of hisarms around her was also obviously not as tight as before. Sylvia‘s heart instantly clenched. She pushed him away hard andstrode out to the wardrobe while wrapped in a bath towel.

She grabbed the towel in front of her body with one hand to prevent it from falling and pushed open the cabinet with the otherhand to get her clothes, intending to leave after getting dressed. “Where are you planning to go?” The man‘s gloomy voicesounded from the door. Sylvia ignored him and continued to take the clothes from the wardrobe.

However, he ignored her and carried her out of the checkroom with a few large strides. He carried her to the bedroom and thenpinned her to the bed.

Sylvia used her hands to push him away, but he pinned her hands above her head.“Let me go— mmph!”He lowered his head and blocked her mouth, not giving her a chance to speak again.

Sylvia was so angry that her chest hurt, but she could not fight him off at all. Not only was this damned man strong, but he alsoknew all her weak spots.

Odell embraced her from behind, but Sylvia slapped his hand away. “Don't touch me!”

After a while, Shermaine said while blushing with a grin,” Aunt, do you think Master Carter is interested in me?”

Ruth was silent for a moment. “Listening to your description , it's possible he’s a little interested in you. Otherwise, he wouldn'thave been so disrespectful to Sylvia just to defend you. But...”

Shermaine frowned. “But what?”

“But it's only because they already have conflicts that weren't solved before. That's why Odell didn't show her any respect andvice versa when something like this happened tonight.”
