Chapter 1493

Chapter 1493

Queenie’s gaze lit up, and she said, “I don’t have anything to do at the moment. Since you want me to go so much, I'll go withyou guys.”

It was very cold outside.

Sherry hugged Caprice tightly after they walked out of Queenie’s place.Queenie followed them.

When they reached a corner, they met Julie head-on.

Julie smiled at Sherry, but the smile that hung on Sherry’s lips instantly disappeared. She glanced coldly at Julie then simplywalked past her with Caprice in her arms, not paying attention to Julie.

The smile on Julie’s face stiffened.

Queenie sensed something was off and said with a smile, ” Julie, I’m going to John’s place tonight, so | won't be having dinnerwith you and Mom.”

Julie smiled and said, “Okay.”However, after Queenie and Sherry went far away, her face instantly turned cold again.

‘Sherry Fowler, what is it about you that makes John care so much about you? You're from such a poor background. How daresomeone like you dare to ignore me?!"

Meanwhile, Queenie caught up to Sherry and asked in confusion, “Why did you ignore Julie?” She remembered that althoughSherry and Julie were not close before, they would at least greet each other when they met.

Sherry replied, “I didn’t want to pay attention to her.”“Why? Did she offend you?”

“Yeah.”

Queenie was stunned. “When? How did she offend you?”

At that moment, in Sherry’s arms, Caprice was also looking at her. Her wide eyes were full of curiosity. She seemed tounderstand the conversation between Sherry and Queenie.

Sherry did not want her to hear these bad things, so she said to Queenie, “It’s a long story. I'll tell you later.”“Okay.”

In a short while, Sherry and Queenie returned to John’s place with Caprice and the pile of beautiful dolls that Caprice had takenfrom Queenie.

Caprice wanted to be placed down when they arrived at the warm house, so Sherry put her down. The little girl reached out again and asked for the bag of dolls Sherry was carrying.

After Sherry passed the bag to her, the girl dragged the bag and went down the corridor in the direction of the bedroom.

Sherry followed her in confusion.

Just when she thought the little girl was going to drag all the dolls into her room, the girl walked straight through the door ofSherry’s room instead. She went into the room which had just been tidied for Sherry today.

Sherry’s eyes flickered as she hurriedly went after Caprice.

When the girl entered the room, she took out the dolls from the bag, climbed up the bed using the small stool beside it, andplaced the dolls in a conspicuous place on the bed.

Although it did not match the decor of the simple room, the contrast was quite cute.

Sherry curled up the corners of her lips, and her eyes could not help but light up. She did not expect the little girl to take so manythings from Queenie just to place them in her room.

The little girl walked back after setting up the last doll. Her large eyes shone brightly as she looked at Sherry. She seemed to bewaiting for praise.

Sherry fished her into her arms and gave her a big kiss on the cheek, saying happily, “I love it, Caprice. Thank you for giving allthese to me!”

Caprice smiled. “You’re welcome, Mommy.”
