Chapter 1809

Chapter 1809

Liam was stronger than he looked, and he could lift Caprice rather effortlessly.

Sherry thanked him with a smile and noted, “There’s a dollhouse down the corridor. You can bring Caprice there with you.”Liam went to the dollhouse, carrying Caprice in his arms.

Sherry turned around and took Sylvia’s hand. “Syl, let’s talk inside.”

“Alright.”

Sylvia followed her to another room.

The two sat on the edge of the bed and chatted.

Despite telling herself that it was just a simple wedding and that it was nothing to make a fuss over, Sherry found herself wrungwith anticipation and unable to fall asleep. She stayed up all night.

She and Sylvia talked about all sorts of things. They talked about the past and caught up on recent events in each other’s livesuntil it was nearly four in the morning.

They only slept for a few hours before they were woken up by Aunt Wanda.

Dawn had broken, and the makeup artist had arrived to help Sherry get ready for her big day. She woke up and jumped into theshower.

After the shower, they remembered Caprice and Liam who they sent off to the dollhouse last night. They went to Caprice’s roomand gently nudged the door open.

They were both caught in disbelief.

Liam looked like he had just woken up. He was dressed in pajamas, and sleep still lingered on his face as he held back a yawn.Caprice was awake as well. She spoke in that signature darling voice of hers, “Good morning, Liam.”

Liam smiled faintly. “Morning.”

Immediately after that, Caprice turned toward him and gently pecked him on the corner of his lips.

Liam did not speak, but his eyes were drawn wide open.

Standing by the door, both Sherry and Sylvia were just as much astounded.

Astrange silence hung in the air for several seconds.

Sylvia shot a look at Sherry.

Sherry made an awkward expression, signifying that she was completely clueless as to what to say either

Meanwhile, Liam was still transfixed in shock. He stared at Caprice, a light shone in his eyes.

Caprice smiled a crescent smile and looked back at him shyly

Sherry had to do something She immediately approached them and promptly took Caprice into her arms.

Suddenly stripped away from Liam, Caprice rebelled immediately She cried out insistently. “No, | want to be with Liam!”Sherry frowned and cast a stern, questioning look at her “Caprice, why did you kiss Liam just now?”

Caprice made a look and answered confidently, “Because | like Liam.”

What?

What did children know about things like that?

“Mommy knows that you like Liam, but why did you have to kiss him?”

She even kissed him on the lips of all places!

“Because Daddy always kisses you when he says good morning to you. He told me that people kiss whenthey like each other.” She presented her logic very matter-of-factly.

Sherry fell silent. She did not know what to say, and her cheeks suddenly grew red hot.The child had learned it from John.

Meanwhile, Sylvia was looking at her with a teasing sort of smile.

Sherry shot her an embarrassed look. “I'll take Caprice.”

“Go.” Sylvia motioned.

Sherry immediately carried Caprice and took her to the adjacent room.
