Chapter 1813

Chapter 1813

After they went outside, Isabel and Flint exchanged a curious look.

“Why does Liam care so much about fatty Caprice?” Isabel was perplexed.

Flint stroked his chin, deep in thought. He speculated. “Maybe because Caprice looks cuter than us.”Isabel pouted.

In school, she was the one who bossed all of her classmates. Every single one would address her respectfully as ‘big sister. Withthis image in mind, she told herself that she could not possibly be bothered by the fact that Caprice was cuter than her.

However, Caprice was not only cute, but she was also known to be well-behaved.

Meanwhile, Isabel and Flint always got into trouble. She suspected this was why Liam cared about Caprice. It was because shewas more pleasant to be around.

Isabel grumbled and decided that she could not care less. She tucked her hands in her pockets and walked outside.Flint followed behind her like a shadow.

Sylvia was the last to step outside. After making sure that all the children had gone outside, she smiled and threw a glance atOdell who had been standing outside waiting for her.

Odell smiled, then he took her hands and led her downstairs. The wedding was held at one of Stockton’s properties.

They had invited most of their closest relatives and friends. The ceremony itself was meant to be a low- profile event. Despitethat, great attention was paid to sprucing up the villa for the occasion.

The decoration in the villa was the least of it.

On the way to the villa, Sherry noticed countless white ribbons and decorations tied to the streetlights along the road; it lookedlike they were going to venture into a dreamland. As they drew closer to the villa, she saw red carpets paved along the road. Itwas a very ceremonious and grand display.

Judging by the gaudy flair, she figured that it was Queenie who had architectured it. She must have put alot of heart into it.

Sherry smiled ear to ear, she was touched by the gesture.

John sat next to her and held her hand tightly. His eyes were fixed on her the entire time.

He smiled when he observed how happy Sherry looked.

After a while, the car drove through the main gate.

The gate was wide open.

The road leading into the villa was paved with red carpets as well.

The servants and bodyguards working in the villa stood on both sides of the road. They had been waitingfor a while

As soon as Sherry stepped out of the car with John, everybody scattered baskets full of rose petals into the air and let themflutter about.

The shower of rose petals did not stop until Sherry and John walked into the garden where the wedding. ceremony would beheld.

The guests had already arrived and were all gathered in the garden waiting for the soon-to-be-wed couple. The moment they noticed Sherry and John, they all rose and turned to admire the beautiful, dreamy couple. There were no more than fifty guests combined.

Alot of them were relatives and friends of the Stocktons, and Sherry recognized most of them.

Lisa showed up as well. She was standing next to Madam Stockton and smiled warmly at Sherry.

Sherry smiled back at her. She continued walking down the aisle with John, toward the stage that had

been set up.

The host was already waiting for them on stage.

The wedding ceremony commenced after the main characters had arrived.

The ceremony progressed smoothly.

They said their vows to each other, then exchanged wedding rings.

Queenie and Isabel stirred the crowd into a cheery and rowdy mood. They made everyone chant for the couple to kiss on stage.Sherry and John obliged. They kissed until Sherry lightly pinched John’s waist to signal him to stop.

Queenie and Isabel laughed heartily, they were having the time of their lives.

Caprice grinned and giggled.

Sherry gave John a shy look.

Unexpectedly, he suddenly grabbed her waist again and pulled her closer to him. Their second kiss lasted longer than the firstand with more passion.

“Oooh!”

There were a lot of oohs and ahhs amid the crowd.

Sherry was not expecting this, and her cheeks flushed red.

John reluctantly let go after he had enough.

Before Sherry could get a word in, he propped his chin on her shoulder and whispered in her ears, “Sherry,

now that everyone knows that you're my wife, please don’t ever leave me again.”
