Axel slowly started pulling out and thrusting back into Hazel whose head was still resting on his c.hest.

The next day

Hazel woke up under the sheets of the bed and she knew that it must have been Axel who tucked her in. The warm breath on her neck and his scent informed her that he was right behind her.

She gently turned in the bed, careful not to wake him up as she did so. She smiled gently as she tucked his hair off his face careful not to disturb his sleep.

She leaned in to k!ss him but his voice stopped her.

“Gosh!” She was quite startled to replace that he was not asleep but totally awake.

She was still feeling sore in between her legs and even though she wanted him back, she still wanted to see to Sana first.

Axel leaned in and k!ssed her forehead.

It was one of the best mornings of their life together, a morning when Axel did not have to wake up with his energy drained, a morning when he did not have to bother about his father chasing after Hazel’s life although it was sad that his father died, it was a morning when he did not have to be concerned about what Rex had up his sleeves, morning when he was not concerned about others replaceing out about her identity.

“Where was Rex buried?” He suddenly asked out of the blues.

“Uhm… Why asking?”

“Paying my last respects to him”

“Alpha Axel” Clarissa walked in, all dressed up in a black suit.

“Good morning beta Clarissa” Hazel greeted and Clarissa laughed softly.

“Good morning, Alpha Hazel” Clarissa replied in the same tone and the both of them laughed.

“Godmother” Sana smiled and hugged Clarissa.

“Hey, goddaughter”Clarissa played with her hair for a few seconds before letting go of her and letting her get back into the arms of Hazel.

“Alpha” Clarissa looked towards him.

“Davis cannot be found” she announced.

“The entire pack has been thoroughly searched but he cannot be found. I think he has escaped to the other packs” she added.

“You’ve spread the information to other Alphas?”

“Yes, I have”

“Power is really something that will corrupt even the best of friends.” He mused.

“But Davis is never really something for me to bother about. He would either get killed as a rogue in other packs or he would come back to me… He can’t be so big of an issue, ever”

“Yes, come to think about it. Where is your mate?” Hazel asked Clarissa, recollecting that Clarissa had told her about replaceing her mate.

“He… He left” she replied.

“Left?”

“Yeah, to his pack” she shrugged.

“Don’t tell me Alpha Damien is your mate” her eyes widened.

“Well…. He is really my mate but… I guess it’s fine” she forced a smile out.

“He rejected me already” she added like it was nothing.

“I’m really sorry about that” Hazel mumbled.

“It’s nothing” Clarissa waved it off

“I and Hazel have decided. We will be merging our packs together and we will rule over both packs” Axel made known the earlier made agreement between he and Hazel

“Wow… that’s amazing” Clarissa’s eyes grew in surprise and amazement and just at that moment, her phone beeped with a message.

She removed the phone from her pockets and gasped.

“Davis has been found” she stated.

“But he was found…. Dead”
