Axel walked down the stairs and halted as his gaze fell on a couple, k!ssing hard and making out, right there in the living room, at a corner of it.

Things like this would have been strange if it was not that the period was the heat period. Sights like this, k!ssing, making out and even f*****g in the most public places were common in all packs during these times.

He looked away from them, wishing in his heart that he could grab hold of Hazel from nowhere and do the same to her.

He took her into his room, slammed his door shut and slammed her back against the door too in a second.
