Mistake with the Alpha
Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 101

Samantha

I saw a black nice Rolls Royce driving our way. I was very scared that someone found out and I hugged Jaylen more.

"Don't be scared, it's our ride" he whispered to me.

I looked up at him and sighed. I didn't want to leave Jaylen. I don't want any more trouble, at least till I give birth to my child.

Alvin came out of the car and bowed.

"Alpha".

He then handed Jaylen the keys.

"We'll be back before midnight," he said.

I looked at Jaylen sharply. Midnight? Isn't he going to attend to other things? I wondered where we were going because it required such long hours. "Yes Alpha".

"Let's go," Jaylen said to me.

I looked at Alvin who was still standing.

"Wait? How would Alvin get back to the pack house? Shouldn't we drop him where he's going to be able to hail down a car?" I asked with concern.

The guy was helping us. In fact, me in particular. I wouldn't want to stress him out. Jaylen and Alvin exchanged looks and then burst into laughter. "What's funny?" I frowned.

"Baby you are always too worried about people" Jaylen pulled my nose gently.

I pouted looking at him.

"That's how a Luna behaves," Alvin said with a smile.

We looked at him and then he coughed slightly. Did he just refer to me as the Luna?

"Don't worry too much about me Sam, I'm a werewolf" he quickly said.

Before we could say anything, Alvin bowed, shifted and ran off. Jaylen and I couldn't even explain what just happened now.

Today was really a good day for me. Jaylen took me to the human land. I've always heard of the human land but I've never been there. In fact it's only a few people that have been there in history. The experience I had with him today was so great. I never dreamt of having such fun. I saw a lot of things that we do not have in our pack.

"Why don't we have all these in our pack? It will really be fun." I said with a smile as I looked at that roller coaster we just got down from.

That roller coaster was very scary. Even with my werewolf prowess I was still scared. Then I wondered how those humans survived it.

"There is a limit to what humans have that we can bring in. We don't want to draw the attention of humans to us".

Jaylen said to me as he offered me an apple. I nodded my head.

"But then we have a lot of things that were invented by them".

I talked. Well it's fun always talking to Jaylen. He doesn't talk much but then he listens to me and then answers every one of my questions patiently.

"Yes but it wasn't made by them. All we do is learn what they made and make our own copy and even sometimes we do better ones'.

There was pride in Jaylen's eyes and I smiled at him."

"Did you notice any fog when we were coming?"

I nodded. In fact I wanted to ask him what the fog was all about but then we were talking and I later forgot about it.

"That's the bridge between the human world and our world. No matter how the humans try, they can't penetrate into our world. They don't have access to it. Once they get to the fog, all they'll see is a large rock. Except if an Alpha brings them in. That's what the moon goddess did to protect us" he explained to me.

I've heard this story before from my dad. He was the one telling stories about how humans betrayed the werewolf world. He said before humans roll freely with the werewolves and even come to their pack without trouble. He even said our pack used to be ruled by the human government and tax is paid to them but then humans betrayed us and used us for their scientific experiments, killing us one after the other.

It was then the moon goddess came to our rescue and made the fog. It's only an alpha that can have access to the woman's world. That's why it's only Jaylen and his father that have been to the human world to educate themselves.

Although I don't know how excellent the human education is and how their gadgets do work, I know that Jaylen and his father have tried to make everything in our pack topnotch. Even to the educational level. Other packs come to our pack to learn while others envy them.

With how organised we are, even if a human mysteriously stumbled into our world, there can be a difference in appearance. Except for the wolf inside us. Looking up, I saw something flying. I was so sure it's not a bird. "What's that?" I asked Jaylen.

Jaylen looked up and smiled.

"It's an aeroplane".

"Airplane? What's that?"

"It's just like a car that flies in the sky. It is used to make long journeys easier and faster and also to pass over seas and ocean" he calmly explained.

I looked at the tiny object in the sky with interest. I don't know how one person could fit in.

"Why don't we have it?"

"We don't need it baby. Even the cars we have are just for fashion. We are faster".

I nodded in agreement. We are really fast. Jaylen surprised me by taking me to where those tiny things in the sky were placed. I was so surprised to see that they are as huge as a house. He told me it is called a hanger.

Today, Jaylen and I did a lot of things together. We took pictures. I've never seen Jaylen this happy. He has dropped all that his Alpha attitude. He wasn't even as rigid as he was. He played like a little child.

Too bad we could only do this in secret. This alone made me sad. Now it's time to leave and we would go back into hiding. I felt like time should slow down and we shouldn't go back home. That's selfish of me but then I've suffered a lot.
