Nathan sat casually; his coffee cup had been ready since a while ago. There was also a tea cup for his guest. Nathan shouldn't have any more business with the woman in front of him now. But why did she suddenly visit again? What does she want?

"How are you?" Bonnie moistened her lips as sensually as possible. She was lucky now. Nathan was apparently hard to replace. Armed with determination because there was something important to discuss with Nathan, he finally agreed to meet her. That was only after she handed him an envelope that would undoubtedly leave Nathan helpless.

All her calls, messages, and attempts to meet while in Sydney had yielded no results. Nothing at all. Even when she returned to Surabaya, she came back empty-handed. Bonnie never gave up easily, never took no for an answer, and always got what she wanted. Capturing a man like Nathan was not a difficult task, especially since Bonnie had something to be proud of.

She was beautiful, her figure inviting, her voice melodious and seductive, her gaze conveyed submission to men's desires, especially Nathan. Blame it on why Nathan was present in her life. Even though it was just a fleeting moment, it made her weak at the knees. The way Nathan treated her was different from other men who had crossed her path.

Unfortunately, Bonnie felt like the pony tailed girl who had just left them due to work was never far from Nathan's side.

"No need for small talk," Nathan always forgot the names of women who spent the night with him. What he remembered was that this woman had wrestled with him in Melbourne. He thought, why bother remembering the name of a woman like this? After all, it was done willingly. There was no coercion involved.

Bonnie smiled faintly. "Have you seen what I've given you?"

The envelope Nathan had been holding was now on the table in front of him. It lay there, accompanied by a sharp grin as Nathan's gaze returned to it. "Are you here with threats?"

"No," Bonnie said with her small, sweet smile. To catch Nathan's attention, she moved closer. She shifted her seat to be right beside the man. There was no resistance that made Bonnie more eager to close the gap. She even dared to reach out and gently stroke Nathan's jaw, which seemed to have gone unshaven.

There's some fine hair growing there, adding to Nathan's already charming face.

"Stop," Nathan firmly grasps the hand.

"Why?" Bonnie asks innocently. "Did I do something wrong?"

"What do you want?"

Bonnie still maintains that smile. "You know what I want, Nathan." She releases her grip on his hand and swiftly picks up the envelope from the table. "Your accountability."

Nathan wants to burst into loud laughter, but what comes out is a scoffing chuckle. It's ridiculous to be involved with this woman and have a baby thrown into the mix. Seriously, as much as Nathan is quick to unfasten a belt, it doesn't make him forget. If what comes out of his core can be a blessing, it can also be a problem.

A blessing if Tasya is the one who's pregnant.

A problem if it's a woman like Bonnie.

That's why he never forgets to wrap it up before wandering around. Moreover, cheap tricks like this can't deceive Nathan anymore. Really. Besides having learned to be cautious, he has plenty of enemies masquerading as colleagues. Many of them use different tactics to try and trap Nathan under their control.

Like a snake, with its mesmerizing skin color, movements, and existence, many people around him vie for Nathan's attention. This includes using women as tools to make him submit. Unfortunately, Nathan is just as cunning. He won't be easily deceived.

"I'm serious," Bonnie is prepared for the rejection from the man. But she won't give up easily. "In here," Bonnie rubs her belly, "is your child."

Her words coincide with Tasya entering the room. Originally, there was something Nathan needed to know right away. A client from Caraka Daya came to meet and discuss the offer Nathan made. It's not that Tasya couldn't handle it, but discussions between bosses would surely reach a much more favorable agreement.

Wouldn't it be offensive to Caraka Daya if Tasya spoke more often? Unfortunately, the report was scattered on the floor because Bonnie's words were too clear for him to hear. Bonnie...pregnant with Nathan's child?

"I thought you were coming home tomorrow," Robin immediately hugs his sister tightly. Her return has filled him with joy. "Ronan bought steak from our favorite restaurant, Sis. Have you eaten yet?"

"I brought chicken soup," Tasya lifts the package she just brought. It's still warm because this food doesn't taste good when eaten cold. "While waiting for Ronan, I'll change my clothes."

"Okay."

Her brother leaves her alone in the living room. It's quiet, but Robin understands the situation he must face. Ronan said Robin had to be strong and patient. For Tasya. Right. If it weren't for his only sister, maybe he'd just want to leave. But where to? He has no purpose other than this house and his two siblings.

Their mother hasn't returned until she's declared sane by the psychiatrist. Her trauma and psychological condition have become worrisome and could pose a danger to those around her. That's why Ronan gave many explanations, although Robin didn't understand much. What he understands now is that his mother isn't here.

He must cultivate patience to face his world. A world where when his mother was at home, she would already say, "The child of a madwoman! Madwoman!" Now that his mother isn't home and many people know where Abigail is being treated.

A knocking sound at the door startles him. Usually, Ronan never knocks on the door. He just shouts, "Robin, I'm home." Then the door is closed with a slightly loud noise. Once again, the door is knocked on. Robin quickly approaches. "Who is

it?" "Nathan."

Robin tries to remember Nathan's figure, whose voice does sound familiar. What he knows about Nathan is that he's his sister's boss; a tall man, always wearing stylish suits, with slicked-back hair and a cold look in his eyes. Not much of a talker, but he seems to care about his sister. Sure enough, that figure is now at the doorstep after Robin opens it. "Mr. Nathan?"

In Robin's eyes, Nathan rarely smiles. Like his stern math teacher. The one who doesn't want to engage in lengthy conversations with Robin. But tonight, Nathan smiles faintly. "Where's Tasya?"

"In her room."

"What's she doing?"

"I don't know," Robin shakes his head quickly. "Oh, changing clothes earlier."

"Mr. Nathan?"

Both Robin and Nathan turned towards the source of the voice. There stood Ronan, holding two freshly bought steak packages. "Come in, Sir," Ronan invited Nathan into his home. But considering the messy state of the house and Nathan's impeccable appearance, Hari grinned.

"Oh, sorry, Sir. The house is like this."

"What's wrong with it?" Nathan asked with a laugh. "Don't apologize for unnecessary things. Your home... it's something you should keep warm."

Hari fell silent but soon smiled, understanding Nathan's words. He followed Nathan's footsteps as the latter had already entered, while advising Robin, "If you have guests, welcome them."

"Yes, Sir," Robin grinned.

"Call Tasya. We're having dinner together," Ronan messed up Robin's hair. "Have you eaten, Sir? Care to join us for dinner?"

"Sure." He's enthusiastic about having dinner with Tasya. Since Nathan had driven Bonnie away from his office, Tasya hadn't been talking. Just a word or two, her face expressionless. As if nothing happened, but Nathan understood that Tasya was angry.

So here he was, disregarded completely by Tasya since earlier, despite his apologies and explanations.

"But the menu is very simple, Sir."

"It's special for me when we eat together," Nathan replied.

Robin looked at Nathan in disbelief, but shortly after, he chose to prepare their dinner.

"Tasya," Ronan greeted when he saw Tasya at the top of the stairs. "Mr. Nathan is here. We're having dinner together, is that okay?"

Tasya had put on a cheerful smile earlier. Dining together with her two brothers was a rare moment. Although she was actually happy to have Nathan here. She could bond with her two siblings, but when she remembered earlier... her annoyance and anger hadn't dissipated.

"Sir, you can eat at home. Miss Naina is probably waiting."

Nathan blinked in surprise.

"The door is over there. I'm sorry, we're not receiving guests."
