"Mom," Nathan rubbed his face with a frustrated sigh. "Tasya doesn't want it like this."

Sunny's movements, flipping through the catalog and jotting down some important notes, came to a halt. Her eyes immediately locked onto Nathan with surprise. "Why not? This is good, Nathan. It's on-trend. Mama has seen decorations like this a lot, but I asked them to modify it to be different from their previous clients."

Nathan let out a long sigh. "I'm confused, Ma. Who's getting married, me or Mama?"

"Nonsense!" Sunny landed a punch right on her son's shoulder. "Who do you want Mama to marry?"

"That's the thing," Nathan chuckled, albeit wincing a bit. He gently rubbed the spot where his mom had punched him. "Tasya and I are the ones getting married, Ma. Give us some room to handle things. If Mama keeps meddling, it won't be our dream wedding, right?"

Sunny blinked slowly. The catalog she had been clutching began to loosen from her grip. "You're right, I suppose."

"I know Mama means well. Help the two of us who are busy and might not have the time. But seriously, Ma, sometimes between meetings Tasya and I always discuss wedding matters. It's so much fun, Ma. Then... out of the blue, we're informed by the wedding organizer that Mama has these requests and those. We get confused."

"I just couldn't stand the decoration. It's so beautiful, Nathan."

Nathan grinned mischievously. Then he hugged his mom affectionately. Their closeness increased by a few percentage points now. Maybe it was because Nathan often came home and needed a lot of guidance from his mom. Plus, accompanying Naina turned out to be enjoyable. "What if you and Dad handle the party?"

"Could you talk normally, Nathan?"

Nathan chuckled. "I am normal, Ma. Proof is, I got pinched when Tasya put on the wedding dress. It's my fault for being faced with a future wife who transformed into a goddess."

Sunny shook her head in amazement as she tried to free herself from her son's embrace. However, Nathan didn't easily let his mom go. Instead, he leaned comfortably against her, just like when he was a child. "Ma, I'm serious. What kind of decorations do you want? The one with lots of flowers, right? You've never had an anniversary with Dad, right? Just do it."

Sunny pouted, but her head suddenly got an idea.

"After Tasya and my wedding is over, you should do it. A vacation too. Bring Naina along. She'll love it."

The middle-aged woman frowned. "What do you mean? Mama will take care of Naina while you're on your honeymoon?"

"Yeah, why not!" Nathan laughed again. "Do you think Naina should come with me? I'd be disturbed, Ma."

"Oh, my God, Nathan!"

"What kind of party do you want, Mom? Just let me know. But Naina and Mom have to be there. I can't just toss Naina to Surabaya. She might be mad at me forever."

"Don't use your brainless tricks!"

Nathan wasn't going to back down. "Mama, are you really that heartless to me?" He dramatized the situation. "Don't want any grandchildren from me, huh?"

Sunny's shoulders slumped slightly. "You're the craftiest, you know."

"You want to, right? Mama's free to choose. Anyway, when it comes to our wedding, I'm handing it over to the wedding organizer whose concept we've already agreed on together. This is our dream wedding, Ma. It's not that Tasya is afraid to speak up. Tasya is just shy and feels your love for her on this occasion is immense. But Tasya's heart is slightly troubled. Is Mama really so heartless to her future daughter-in-law? Sulking on her wedding day?"

"Enough already. Talking to you has so many branches."

"Fortunately, Nathan's branches are quickly closed. Just the core, Ma."

"You!" Sunny was genuinely annoyed now.

"Do you want it or not? The offer is valid for five minutes, Ma. It's a shame, you know."

"What are you talking about?"

Naina, who had just come down from her room, asked. Her hair was still a bit messy, and she held a book that she was studying. Facing her sixth-grade exams meant she had a lot to study. Nowadays, Naina rarely went out. After school, she spent her time deepening her knowledge and attending a few lessons to support her activities at school.

"Naina," Nathan called out as he released his embrace on his mother. "Where do you want to go on vacation? The beach? A luxury resort? A five-star hotel? Bali? Raja Ampat? Singapore? Disney Tokyo?"

Naina raised an eyebrow suspiciously. Her hands were clasped to her chest. "I want to study, Daddy. Why are you asking about a vacation?"

"After your exams, we can go on vacation, Naina."

Even though she still had her suspicions about her dad, especially with Nathan looking at her with hope in his eyes, Naina asked, "I want to go on vacation with Mama Tasya later. Daddy, don't you know we're going to Bunaken?" Nathan was taken aback. "When?"

"When what?"

"When is Mama Tasya taking you to Bunaken?"

"Later, after I finish my exams. After Mama Tasya becomes my mom. Daddy marries Mama Tasya, right?"

"So, yes," Nathan quickly agreed. "But Mama Tasya said we're not going to Bunaken with Daddy?"

"Yes, Daddy. Why not with you? You're the one paying for the tickets, right?"

Nathan sighed in relief. But he wasn't entirely relieved yet because there was still one nagging question. "So, we're going to Bunaken as your graduation vacation, right?"

Naina nodded eagerly.

Nathan's mind raced. Considering the limited time available between Naina's exams, he couldn't force the girl who was now looking at him to leave town just for his and Tasya's affair. But if Naina was with them, everything he had planned in his head might not go as planned.

You see, Nathan couldn't wait any longer. The image of Tasya in her dress from yesterday had completely overwhelmed his common sense. Tasya looked so beautiful during the fitting yesterday that Nathan wanted to accelerate everything. Unfortunately, he couldn't act that easily even though he was capable. There were many things to consider and plan to ensure that the event went smoothly.

"Besides, I wonder," Naina still sent a protesting look. "Why after Daddy and Mama's party, can't I stay in the hotel? What are you guys doing there? I also want to swim there, right? Soaking with Mama Tasya."

"For a week with Grandma, Naina," said Nathan, suddenly at a loss. "After that, you're free to stay there for a few days."

"But you guys will be working, leaving me alone? Oh my. That's not funny at all."

Nathan grinned.

"Anyway, Naina doesn't want to stay with anyone else. With Grandma or Grandma Alexa! She wants to stay with Mama Tasya. Period."
