"I promise I won't do that anymore, please sir. This would be the last time I'll ever come late. I'm really sorry." Jude stared at her once again, licking his lower lips subconsciously and once again, Debby couldn't help but cringe.

"You are not a bad looking woman afterall?" He was already imagining her naked and him doing all sorts of filthy things with her.

Debby was even more disgusted at the man. What was he insinuating? This man is such a pervert.

"Let's have lunch together this afternoon, after work?" Taking a critical look at the man, Debby was disgusted that he was slowly becoming clearly perverted with his statement and acts.

"I am sorry sir, I don't do dates. I am here to work and don't have such time. No offense intended, sir." Jude felt his ego being bruised. Never has any lady rejected him and he wondered what gave this woman before her the gut. A lot of female staffs use to rally around him and couldn't wait for him to f**k them yet this woman is clearly disgusted with him or was she pretending?

"What is your problem? Money? I have lots of it. I can take care of you and make sure that beautiful face of yours still maintain its relevance. Just agree to this date and let's take things up from there." Jude boasted and winked.

Debby was pissed and stared at the ridiculous man, knowing fully well that his intention wasn't just taking her out on a date, he had a greater thing up his sleeve. She knew that the best way to avoid this would be by walking awah from him and that was exactly what she did.

"One more step and you know what I will do." She hated being placed in a situation, where she couldn't even decide.

"Many of your colleagues always throw themselves at me before I can even make a move, how dare you refuse to go out on a date with me? Huh?" Jude slowly made his way to Debby and pushed her hair backwards, while she was facing the door. Debby felt assaulted, she turned around and slapped him hard on the face, causing Jude to stare at her in disbelief.

"With all due respect, I don't like forcing troubles. I am just here to work and I will appreciate it, if you respect my decision" She tried to move out once again, and Jude stopped her immediately and turned her to himself, intending to slap her, but the door suddenly opened, Harry Vernon's personal assistant stepped into the room.

Apparently, he had seen the whole scenes through the CCTV footage and couldn't help but step into the situation.

"What is going on here?" He asked cooly.

"This woman here tried to seduce me. She forgot what courtesy was all about and tried to make good advantage of my good charming personality" Debby was bewildered by the lies coming, emanating from the mouth of Jude. This was purely a fabricated story and it was obvious that he was trying to put her in a bad spot.

"You may leave" Harry's personal assistant instructed Debby in an emotionaless tone. Debby was filled with fear as she wondered if this could be the beginning of the end for her.

She had high hopes on this job and being placed in a circumstance like this, she knew that the end was near.

Later that day, while she was busy with work, she heard some of her fellow workers rumouring about the fact that Jude had been fired. Debby was once again bewildered and after she had served the food to the said customer, she returned back to her colleagues, so she could hear more of the story.

"Excuse me, did you say Mr. Jude has been fired?" She asked one of them.

"Yes. Who would have thought that the CEO's nephew can be fired? He must have really offended the CEO so much. Didn't have much information as to the particular reason why he was fired, but it's so invigorating to know that the bastard is no longer working with us." Debby stared at the lady, who seemed to be of the same age with her and for some reason, she believed that she was one of the victim of Jude'gross abuse of power.

But what she couldn't understand was why Jude was fired when infact, she was supposed to be the one to have been fired based on the lies that Jude tell on her.

When it was closing time, Debby walked out of the extra large building - Vernon's corporation, while walking to where she could take a cab home, she received a call from Sarah.

"Greetings ma'am. I don't know if this is some sort of a kidnap situation, but Fred and myself have been taken to a huge mansion alongside every luggage in our house. I will text you the location immediately." Before Debby could make any statement, Sarah hanged

up.

Debby became alarmed and anxiety slowly crept in. While she was panicking, her phone beeped and she saw the address of the said mansion. Quickly, she searched for the nearest cab and board one.

On arrival, Debby was thrilled by the size of the building. The designs were out of this world and Debby could only wonder why Sarah and her child had been brought there. She noticed some guards by the entrance of the building and rushed over to meet up with them. Before she could make any statement, they opened the door wide enough for her, making Debby stare at them suspiciously, before moving inside.

While running through the passage, which Debby believed led to the living room, she bumped into a wall... So she believed, till she looked up and noticed a scary familiar face, staring deep at her.

Debby wasn't expecting Harry Vernon to be here. However, she saw it as an opportunity to be able to get her son out of the place.

"Please help me, my son and the maid are in this mansion. don't want anything happening to them" She pleaded desperately.

Harry Vernon stared down at her with no emotions written on his face. Staring at her, her presence reminds her vividly of how her father murdered his family and made him grew up as an orphan. He kept his composure and remained quiet while she kept on pleading earnesly.

"I ordered for them to be brought into my mansion." Debby looked up at Harry for a moment, trying to fathom what he had just said.
