The tension between Harry and Broderick became very tense.

Harry stared at Broderick with much disdain on his face. He looked demeaningly at the few men that Broderick had brought and he was beyound certain that he was going to defeat this people. "What is this madness? Who are you?" Broderick asked, still holding his gun pointed towards Harry, who looked unfazed.

Broderick had guessed that this could be a set up and truly it was.

"Of course, you wouldn't be able to remember me. You believed you killed everyone in my family and that there wouldn't be any survival. I hate to burst your bubbles, but I am the last survivor and I would make sure you don't leave here breathing again." Harry declared with so much rage. The remembrance of what happened five years ago settled fresh in his memory and he already felt like burying the man before him alive.

"I still don't know what you are talking about, young man. Who the fuck are you? I was directed to this place to meet my daughter. I haven't met you before, so what is all these." Broderick indicated, pointing towards the hundreds of soldiers, surrounding Harry. Actually, Broderick was already suspecting that the man standing before him could be one of the Vernon's family members.

"Maybe a little reminder would make you understand who you are speaking with." Harry stepped forward a little, despite the guns from Broderick's end pointed towards him. He wasn't scared of Broderick. "My name is Harry Vernon, the last survivor of the series of murder you committed years ago on the Vernon's family."

Broderick was bewildered at the testimony that Harry just gave. He had stepped into Darkwood, hoping to get his daughter and get out and avoid any controversy. Here he was, standing with the last survivor of a murder he didn't even have a hand in. "Listen to me, I swear by the heavens that ! didn't have a hand in your family's death."

"

Harry stared at Broderick and for a second, he was amused by the man's stupidity. "You really think I am a fool and I will believe your lies? I have waited for so many years for this moment and all I get is lies from you? Hahaha....

Broderick knew that this man standing before him, was fully determined to enact his revenge over him.

"I didn't kill your family members. I was framed! Someone else disguised themselves as me and took your family out!" Harry was slowly getting irritated by the lies Broderick was dishing out.

"You are surrounded, Broderick Alessandro. Give up your arms and maybe, just maybe I may think of other easier ways to kill you," Broderick took a closer at Harry's men once more and they all looked angry and fierce. Certainly, he was outnumbered and if he was to start a fight here, he would loose. He thought within his heart that surrendering would be the best option at this point lest he end up wasting many of his soldiers's life. He turned to his men and spoke, "You may all leave." While some tried to act in line with what he had said, others protested.

"Boss, we cannot leave you here, it would be a total aberration! What would we tell your wife when we return to North Hill sir? Please reconsider this." Broderick's mind was already made up. If Harry chose to punish him this way, then he needed to show him that he was totally innocent through his actions.

"My words stands. Go back to North Hill. Do not reveal yourselves to my wife so she wouldn't be able to detect that you guys are back." They all looked at themselves and after much hesitation, they all left the central park, leaving Broderick at the mercy of Harry and his men.

Harry moved close to Broderick and smacked him on the face so hard then accompanied it with a kick to his belly, causing Broderick to go down to his knees, due to the impact of the hit he received. "You chose a very better option, Broderick Alessandro." He pulled out a small knife he had in his pocket and held it to his throat. "If you had resorted into gun violence, I would have messed you up a lot.... Right now, I will make you die slowly." He pressed the knife to his neck, making blood spill.

While carrying out this act, Harry noticed Broderick didn't even make any attempt to fight back. Why would he be willing to die without even attempting to pull up a fight? Harry wondered.

He retracted his knife and moved back a bit then studied him for a moment. "Why have you chosen not to fight back?" he asked Broderick

Broderick took in lots of breaths. "For many years, I have searched around for my beloved daughter. If there is anything I have always hoped for, is that one day she would come to me. When you sent the letter and told me about my daughter being in Darkwood, I had resorted not to come because of the fact that I may be killed by Vernon's family for the offense I didn't commit. My wife however put so much pressure on me and so because of her, I had to risk my life to come here.

It turns out my fear was after all coming to be a reality"

Broderick indicated.

Harry stared at him for a moment. "Before you die, tell me why you killed my family. I want to know why you heartlessly wiped out the entirely family."

"I didn't kill your family members. Someone out there disguised themselves to be and took your family out. Please, if there is one last request I want to make before I die is that you allow me see the face of my daughter" Harry thought through all that he had just said. He believed it wouldn't be bad to grant him the last request, before he eventually takes him out. He called on his personal assistant at once.

"Bring Debby here right now!" He ordered. Horace bowed respectfully and left the park to get Debby.

Meanwhile, Debby, who had been watching the whole scene from her place of hiding, also listened to their conversation and began to wonder, why did Harry commands that she should be brought to this place. Could the man kneeling before Harry be his father? She wondered. Harry on the other hand checked his wrist watch and turned to his men, who still had their gun pointed at Broderick.

"Make sure you watch him. I have a meeting to attend to right now. Once he is done speaking with his daughter, ensure you keep him somewhere he wouldn't be able to escape." Harry's plan was to investigate more over this matter. He wanted to know whether or not Broderick statement about not being the killer of his family members was true.

He didn't want to kill an innocent man for an offence he didn't commit. That would make him a murderer.

He pulled out his phone out of his pocket and moved away from Broderick. He was calling Horace, who had left the scene. At the first ring, Horace picked. "While trying to get Debby, also make further investigation over my family member's murder and bring back a credible report to me." He hanged up afterwards. Harry left the scene alongside one of the hundreds of soldiers, to serve as a body guard to him.

Meanwhile, Horace looked around for Debby. He searched everywhere for her and but couldn't grasp her location. After his fruitless search, he picked out his phone and ringed Harry. "Debby is no where to be found, sir." There was silence at the other end of the phone for a moment.

"Very well then, take Broderick out of the park and keep him somewhere. Tell the guards to watch over him, while you continue your investigation of the murder of my family members." "Okay sir," Harry hung up afterwards.

Debby watched from afar as one of the men, who had been asked to guard Broderick had a phone to his ear and all of a sudden, the man indicated to the rest of his colleagues that they needed to be out of the park. They handcuffed Broderick's hand to the back and lifted him up his feet then moved him roughly to the car.

Debby carefully studied the man as he was taken away and kept on wondering if everything he had said, concerning coming to look for his daughter, were meant for her.
