Alice had an idea flashed through her mind and immediately, called on her daughter to the living room once again.

"Listen real well to this plan....." Edna sat at the opposite couch, her full attention on her mother. "You will go back to the mansion, I believe you certainly know how to replace a means to get Horace to do your bidding?" Edna nodded. "Excellent. You are going to meet Broderick Alessandro and introduce yourself as his daughter.. You have to make sure that he believes you are his daughter and afterwards, help him escape." Alice finished off.

"But mom, we both know that this is really risky. Going to Harry's safe house and allowing his enemy escape would be highly dangerous to myself and you know that for a certain." Edna reasoned.

"I already told you what to do, Edna; you are going to use one of Harry's men as your tool. Make sure you replace a means to allow Broderick escape. We cannot let the truth be out," After a moment of hesitation, Edna stood up from the couch and eventually left the living room to get her purse then left.

When Edna arrived at the safe house, she found one of the guards securing Broderick Alessandro and approached him. "I will like to see the man held in captive." The guard was stiff and he had a serious look up his face.

"I am sorry ma'am, we are following strict instruction from the boss." Edna sighed and opened her purse and brought out cash.

"How about we reach an understanding. This is five thousand dollars. I believe you can use this too atleast fend for yourself for the rest of the week." The guard stared at the money and then back at Edna. "All you have to do, is let me into the place where Broderick Alessandro has been kept. The second thing is, you will allow me escape with him."

"With due respect ma'am, I owe my allegiance to the boss and if it's money, I earn enough from my job." Edna groaned in frustration. This man was clearly a hard nut to crack. She had to devise another means.

"Listen here, I am Harry's girlfriend and I can mess you up if I want to. You are simply a common guard, whom he doesn't regard. I am giving you two options at this point, either you take this money and do as I have said, or I tell Harry you try to harrass me and you certainly know he would believe me, over you." Edna saw fear written over the face of the guard and she knew that once again, she had successfully manipulated him.

"Please, don't do this to me." He begged.

"You have two options, choose wisely." She replied, ignoring his plea.

After a moment of hesitation, the guard eventually accepted the money and led Edna into the safe house, to get Broderick Alessandro.

Broderick Alessandro was sad and dejetected. She was waiting for Harry to bring him his daughter. If he can set his eyes on her before he kills him then his death will be worth it. He wants to see how his little girl had grown to become. He had missed her greatly. He suddenly heard the door opened wide, he noticed one of the guard stepped into the room, alongside a young lady.

"Father?" He stared at the lady, who had just called him. "Its me dad... I'm Debby." Broderick stared in disbelief as the lady made her way over to his side.

"Debby?" He called in surprise. She nodded her head, tears dropping out of her face.

"I am so sorry for everything you had to go through." She knelt down before her father and Broderick held her chin and was overly emotional. After so many years of not seeing his beloved daughter, he was finally opportuned to see her glorious face once again. He was stunned to see that his little girl had grown to be astoundingly beautiful.

Meanwhile, Debby and Nicholas had arrived also at Harry's safe house, Nicholas had tracked the car over to the mansion and when they got weeks ago, after her clash with Edna.

Could it be that Broderick had been kept there also? She wondered..

Debby held Nicholas hand, and they both stepped into the safe house, the safe house in a way connected to Broderick's main mansion. She moved quicllyy over to the particular room, where she had been kept the last time. When she arrived, she noticed it was wide opened and slowly made her way to peep through. She gasped, seeing Edna kneeling and crying emotionally before Broderick Alessandro.

What was she doing here? Debby wondered to herself. She noticed Broderick was being overly emotional...

"I can't believe you are Debby!" Broderick said to Edna while caressing her face tenderly, he couldn't help the gentle years dropping from his face. He gently cleaned up the last stain on Edna's cheek. The moment Debby heard it, she was shocked. Indeed, her instinct were right. Broderick Alessandro was truly her father.

What Debby couldn't understand is why Edna was claiming to be her. It was slowly beginning to dawn on her that there was Edna was up to something evil. She began to reminisce about all the times Edna had taken so many things away from her. The first time was Arthur, and eventually Harry and right now, she was trying to take her father away from her? Debby was not going to allow it happen.

"She is not your daughter, I am!" Both Broderick and Edna turned around to behold Debby who had suddenly appeared at the door way. "Who are you and what is it you are saying." Broderick asked getting confused. Edna had already helped him loosen the rope that he was tied with.

"Father, don't listen to this woman. I am your daughter." Debby hastily said. looking directly at Broderick's eyes makes her heart leaped for Joy in her. So her father is alive? Why then has he been away from her all these years? Debby thought.

"Don't believe her father. She is a crazy woman and indeed, she is slowly showing her signs of mental imbalance." Debby was shocked that Edna was referring to her as a crazy woman. This evil step sister of hers, was trying to ruin her life and she wasn't going to allow it happen. "I am not crazy dad. She is lying to..."

"Enough!" Broderick interrupted Debby with a loid growl and then, stood up from the chair he was seating and raised Edna up to her feet. "I only know her as my daughter. I don't know you. And I believe what she is saying about you being crazy is true." Debby was hurt by the words coming out of her father. She stared at Edna, who had an evil smirk on her face and began to curse underneath her breath.

Edna held Broderick's arm and said; "Quick father, let's get out of here before Harry comes." Broderick nodded and they doubled their steps and while they head out hurriedly. Debby ran after them...

"Don't do this dad. She is manipulating you!" She shouted, but Broderick didn't care. Debby watched as they both moved out of the hallway. She fell to her feet and began to cry, realizing that the one chance she finally get to experience fatherly love was taken away from her

She sunk to her knees dejectedly and cried profusely while Nicholas came to her side and pat her. Her bones and marrow could feel her excruciating pain. Thich tears rushed down again and again down her cheek.

"Its okay I, Debby, its not your fault." He carried her up to her feet and hugged her, while she cried on his shoulder.

After Debby's tears reduced, Nicholas held her and they moved out of the room, and subsequently out of the mansion. He took her to his home and after settling her down, rushed to the kitchen to cooked a meal for her.

Nicholas's intention was simply to cheer her up and slowly, Debby was beginning to have a good mood back but she still couldn't stop thinking about her father. She got to meet him for the first time in her life buy he didn't even recognize her. While eating, she received a call and upon seeing whom the caller I. D is, her heart beat raced faster. The call was from Harry and she picked immediately.

"How dare you!" His authoritative voice, almost had her dropping her spoon to the table.

"Please, I don't know what you are talking about." She replied calmly.

"You have the audacity to lie to my face, huh?" He asked and Debby began to search within her memory, if she had offended Harry, but there was no clue. "You helped Broderick Alessandro escaped from the mansion, didn't you?" Harry asked furiously. "I didn't do such thing." Debby replied, realizing that Edna must have told the guards to implicate her.

"You dare took my enemy away from me?

You will suffer, Debby, I will make you suffer pains unheard of." Despite being innocent, she knew that there was no amount of explanation she would give to Harry, that would make him believe believe her. Before Debby could protest any further, Harry hung up.. Nicholas had heard the whole conversation and wondered why Harry wouldn't trust Debby for once. "You have to go to the mansion and explain yourself to him." Debby looked up at Nicholas and sighed, knowing that no matter what explanation she gave to Harry, he would never believe her.

"It is utterly useless. Nicholas" Despite knowing it was not going to be useful, she still had to go back to the mansion, for the sake of her child.

After their meal, Nicholas took Debby over to Harry's mansion. When they arrived, Harry saw Debby from the third floor, come out of a man's car. He watched as she bade the man a goodbye and made her way inside...

When Debby stepped into the living room, everywhere was absolutely quiet and she could only wonder where everyone was. She hadn't seen her child nor Sarah. However, she heard a footstep behind her and upon turning around, she saw the ferocious looking Harry. Her heart began to palpitate even as she swallowed a huge lump.
